Eccentric Opens Its Doors

After hours of work from our dedicated leaders, Eccentric is finally having its Grand Opening.
Mist, Eccentric's founder, is excited to see the opening.

I wanted to create a place were people will be able to come on to neopets and be able to have a chat," Mist said." I'm excited! Hopefully, we will have lots of people joining us so that the guild board will always have a few people on it at all times."

In celebration of this monumental event, several exciting new things have been added. The graphics page, which will be run by Marisa, has been finished and is now open. The Eccentric Cup is officially underway so neomail Missy your team and get started! Even if you do not participate in the Altador Cup, you can still participate in the Eccentric Cup. And The Community has released its first issue.

With all of these new things to do, Eccentric's opening is bound to be spectacular.

Hopefully, a year from now we will still be going strong with a tightly knitted community," Mist said. "Eccentric will be a place where any one of our members can come on to Neopets and know that there will be someone to talk to and have a laugh with."

Altador Cup Begins

The Altador Cup VIII started yesterday, May 31st. Signups began May 25th and many teams have already prepared their strategy.

I always stay up for the beginning of the AC! It's only 1 a.m. my time, so not too bad." Angela from Team Darigan said. "I've been practicing this year to get to All-Star. Team Darigan for the win!"
Prediction boards can be spotted all over the AC board and some sites have even popped up to keep track.

Throughout all this enthusiasm, there has been some changes on a few of the teams.
Meridell has recruited a new player, Ethel Boortz. Moltara and Tyrannia have switched goalkeepers, landing Mor Gollog onto Tyrannia and Harlis Neyhbol onto Moltara.

Of course, all of these changes are worthless considering that Roo Island is going to win. *continues unbiased reporting* Stay tuned to the Altador Cup event in order to see how these switchups turn out.

» Usuki Castle

A short story by Missy

Once upon a time, a young girl peered over her older brother's shoulder and saw a wonderful world, full of magical lands and friends.
She was hooked on the adorable usuki dolls and cute little usuls.

As she grew up, the girl learned from this world things she would never even have thought of trying. It taught her about hard work and dedication. She made it her goal to collect every usuki there was.

It sparked in her an interest in many things that she carried with her in life. From business to leadership to design, years passed by.

Sometimes, she would go on hiatus, telling herself,
Maybe I'm too old for this..."

But eventually, she always comes back to the place that is her home, whether she is nine years old or a year away from college.

» Recipe: Nutella Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup of flour
1/3 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of nutella
2 eggs
Instructions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together
2. The batter will be thick and you'll need to mix together the batter thoroughly which will take a moment because of the consistency of nutella.
3. Grease a cookie sheet and place into a oven at 350 degrees.
4. Cook for 10 minutes and let cool.
