No, really, I have! *smiles* Anyways, it's such a pleasure to have you here today, although you were a bit late. *Waves finger at you* I was almost thinking you wouldn't make it. *Straightens ears and wings* So since you're here, I might as well show you around this place. *My Beginning*
Hmm... I wonder...

What is this?? Peculiar indeed... -invalid_words- I've always been extremely fascinated with the events that took place during my first day of life. I mean who wouldn't! It is just too thrilling to know the first reactions of oneself towards the world. I wish I knew what mine were but unfortunately I don't have a shred of memory towards that startling day. Thus, I had only the choice left of confronting Bes with the details on the story. What a horrible source she is too! I'd ask: "So tell me, what was the exact time when I was born?" And she would merely take a moment to recall and simply respond with a "How am I supposed to know?" I'd ask her so many questions and her way of responding would be the same one after another. Therefore, the account of my birth, pieced together with much effort is far from detailed. Anyhow, please bear with me and be courteous while I tell of my beginning….

A gust of wind sent shivers down to her fingertips as Pineapplebes strolled along the busy streets of Neopia. It was the harshest day during the month of celebrating and she quickly rubbed her hands together frantically, hoping friction would somehow keep them from freezing. It was her first day at the strange land and the weather hadn't been the friendliest. Desperately, she searched for a warm place to thaw herself.
"There!" Bes thought to herself as she came upon a bizarre cave, "It's not exactly the most inviting place, but at least I won't freeze."
As she advanced into the tunnel following the cave, Bes felt the warm, humid air flooding from the heart of it. After a sharp left turn, a magnificent sight caught her eyes. A brilliantly lighted room filled with hay and hundreds, no, thousands of eggs larger than those of an ostrich and more colorful than a rainbow! Each had their own unique pattern more intricate than any she'd ever seen in her life.
Glancing around, Bes noticed many, like herself, were also there. They each had an egg in their arms, or were scavenging around the heaps of hay for one. Assuming it as a "take one for free" sign, she fastidiously rummaged around for an egg. What a difficult task it was too! All the patterns and colors eventually caused her head to spin! Exhausted, Bes rested her pumping feet by sitting on a sturdy load of hay. Or at least, she thought it was. The mound, to her surprise, gave away just as she sat upon it. This action almost made Bes crack open her head, and, with straws sticking from her hair, she spun around to give the pile a good kick. But her foot came to a sudden jolt as Bes noticed that the mound of hay had uncovered an egg.
An ugly egg it was, for sure. Plain, dull, and yellow. No nice patterns or for that matter, anything. Yet looking closer, Bes noticed that her fall had some damage on the egg as well. There was a fracture, leading down and shattering the shell of gold. And what the----EEK! Bes jumped back in alarm. A stick, or whatever it was, poked out of the crack. It waved in the air until suddenly, the crack spread and part of the shell gave away. A little head poked out of the hole and paused. Bes approached with caution and decided to help the poor thing out of its tight space. The shell broke off quite easily and in a flash, curled up before her was a wee yellow kitten-like creature.
It was so tiny, helpless, and shivering that Bes cuddled it in her jacket. As she walked out of the cave and was again exposed to the cold, Bes held it close and wandered what this diminutive one, who hasn't even opened its eyes to the world, could grow to be. Apparently, she had much to find out….

Do you hear that? *You turn on your ears and listen* ---"BZZZZ—BZZZZZ"---*You nod, bemused.* That, my friends, is my ever-so-wonderful petpet, TULIP! *She scrambles behind a rainbow bean bag chair and bounces back with the little buzzer* Teehee-isn't it just ADORABLE?! *You tilt your head and raise a brow.*
O—wait I know! *She places some flowers next to the petpet.* NOW it's adorable! *You nod in absolute agreement*
*Giggle* Tulip was, naturally, named after the elegant flower, tulip. Why you ask? Because they represent faith and---and---well, it's PRETTY! *She cradles the buzzer in her arms.* "Brrrflp~" it says.
AIIIE, its time for Tulip's nap! Shoo! We can't disturb her peace or she'd be cranky! *shoves you out.*

Pretty, eh? I'm your every-day neopet. There isn't a single marking or spot found on me that differs from any other regular faerie aisha. It's a real disappointment to me as I stress on individuality, but I'm afraid its not my choice of what I'm born with *sighs*. However, I'm proud to be of the few (if any) neopets that would gladly wear a key around their neck! *Points to a rusty---thing*. Yes, really--- it's a key! *Takes out a rag and polishes it* SEE? Well I can't help it if it's rusty, I don't go ANYWHERE without it :D! Why is it so special you ask? Well I'm proud to say that this is the very key to my first ever book! (yes, the book had a lock! It was a diar----um…*ahem* That's not important). *Nods proudly* So you see, it's dear to me in every way :). This key holds many special memories and I will treasure it always!
