Caera*

There is no way Caera Rosse could be called shy. That was what most people say, anyway. Caera is often known for her sarcastic, dry sense of humor and her tough attitude. She's one of the more bold girls. She stands at 6'1", tall for her age. She's got an athletic build, she's lean and well-muscled. She has almond shaped green eyes and rosy cheeks. She has long brown hair, but has a hobby of dying it according to her mood. She's often seen doing some sort of sport, her favorites are basketball and soccer. Caera's got a rather masculine figure, tall, lean, and flat. She doesn't particularly care, she considers herself lucky. She wears boyish clothing, shorts and jeans with tee-shirts. She has NO conscious, and doesn't think twice before she does anything.
Caera speaks with an Irish accent. She's very close to her mother's ancestry, and is taking French as her foreign language.

Nobody wants to be the last one there

{ + Intelligent/well-read + } Caera is very intelligent, she devotes her time to mostly studying and sports. Her grades are mostly good, never dropping below Bs. She does all her homework, and often studies during lunchtime. She takes down very accurate notes. She usually is the envy of some people, getting good grades. But you need to work for good things, right? Caera always reads when she can. She favors the series Harry Potter. Her favorite things are in the library. She is often at the library, and several 'nerds', despite the label, are cool in her book.

{ + Strong/Athletic + } Caera is strong, both mentally and physically. She doesn't let anyone hurt her, or people she considers friends. She works out after she studies, and sometimes at the same time. She rambles with the best of them, and the only reason she gets detentions is from fights. She makes sure her friends aren't being hurt by anyone, and if they are, she'll handle it. Caera is very athletic. She's very into sports, like soccer and basketball. She's an ace at gym. She's got a good build, and occasionally with tussle with the boys in football. She's good at running and swimming as well. There's probably not a sport she could do half-way decently.

{ + Trusting/trustworthy + } Caera is a trusting girl, and if she's first meeting you she'll definably trust you. She gives everyone a chance, and until you blow it you've got her trust. She doesn't tell people her secrets that much, she doesn't have secrets. She also can keep a secret greatly, take it to the grave unless you say otherwise. Even if you irritate her, she'll never say your secret.

{ + Happy with herself/outgoing + } Caera's happy with herself the way she is. No matter what anyone says, she doesn't let it affect her. She doesn't care how she looks, but when she does dress up she is confidant with her appearance. Caera's an outgoing girl. She isn't afraid to start a conversation or intrude upon another. She's known for this, and some people find it annoying. Caera does usually make sure she CARES about the conversation, though.

{ + Hard-working + } Caera is a hard-worker. She puts 110 percent into anything she does. She only focuses on her schoolwork and sports, though. She doesn't focus on anything she doesn't care about. However even if she doesn't like or enjoy it, Caera tries her best to make it amazing. Because of that, she's exceptionally liked by teachers, and envied by her peers.

{ + Independent/loyal + } Caera is very independent. She doesn't listen to others, and if jeans and tee-shirts went out of style she'd still wear them. She doesn't bother with folks who are shallow, and she will never become so reliant on a man that she goes crazy without him. (*cough*BellaSwan*cough*) 'Strong, independent woman' fits her perfectly. Caera is loyal. If you are a good friend of hers, she will stay by your side no matter what. Unless you betray her, she will always remain so. She doesn't pick sides if her friends fight. She hates drama, and if you bring it her way she'll fling it back.

{ +/- Defensive +/- } Caera is defensive. She doesn't appreciate it when people take a swing at her ego, not that it affects her. She tends to seem like she cares, when she does defend herself and friends. She's also got a tendancy to attack if she thinks you're conspiring against her. Like in a dictatorship.

{ +/- Good liar/actress +/- } Caera is a liar. She can lie and feel nothing at all. It's hard to separate lies from truth with her. She also has no shame, or conscious. She's been asked to be in the school plays, but just has no time. She does usually join in the winter production.

{ +/- Strong willed +/- } Caera is very strong willed. She doesn't back down from any kind of fight, and her opinion never wavers. Even if she's wrong, she will always deny being so. This could also be considered stubborn, and she never gives up. She believes she is always right

{ +/- Oblivious +/- } If Caera's lost in a book, you could light the room on fire and she wouldn't notice. She gets lost in thought. She also doesn't realize if anyone likes her more than a friend, unless they specifically say that. She's also got an idea that no guy would want to be romantically involved with her, and she's fine with that. She's blocked out all suspicions of crxshes in her favor.

{ - Irritable - } Caera is VERY irritable. If you are annoying and get on her nerves, she'll tell you to shut up. She has no patience, and can often be seen glaring at gossiping students in the halls or detentions. She isn't afraid to tell you you're getting on her nerves, either.

{ - Cruel/harsh - } Caera isn't the kindest girl. She's very cruel and bitterly honest. She doesn't really care. She's often seen as harsh, so people hardly ever ask her what she thinks about something of theirs. She's very good at deflating egos.

{ - Sarcastic/dry humor - } Sarcasm is one of Caera's qualities. She's always being sarcastic, whether you know or not. She tends to seem serious, a lot, and sometimes it's hard to tell if she's serious. But she always manages to bright up a dark situation with some sarcasm.

{ - Judgmental/pessimistic - } First impressions are key with Caera. If you seem like a person she won't like, you aren't invited to her group of friends. Caera judges, not by race or religion, but by your first meeting. 'For a pessimist, I'm pretty optimistic'. Caera's a pessimist. She always sees the class as half empty instead of full. She's often told she's a downer. She focuses on percentages, and thinks hope is useless.

{ - Demanding/bossy/impatient - } Caera takes charge. Because of this, she's viewed as bossy and demanding. She is, she doesn't take no for an answer and thinks she's in charge, which she is in some situations. Caera has the patience of a five year old. She doesn't like waiting for anything, and often gives up after one hour

Caera's tall, standing at 6'1". She's got a decent width for her age. She's well built and muscular. She has a light tan, on her arms, torso, and legs. Her face is lighter, and she has very rosy cheeks. She has almond shaped, green eyes and long locks of brown. She has a tendency to dye her hair, however. Her figure is more masculine than feminine. She's got a confidant stride in her step, and she slouches when she sits. Her posture is pretty average, but with a hint of glory. She has a somewhat slow pace, preferring to take her time. Usually, Caera whips her hair into a ponytail. Caera doesn't usually have make-up on, but when she dresses up she puts some on. She's comfortable with or without it. She'll wear anything comfortable.

Someone to love with my life in their hands

Caera's very good at sports in their entirety, except for tennis. She never cared for it. She's very healthy, for she eats both vegetables and meats.
Caera can't sing for anything, but she's mean base guitarist and drummer. Caera's favorite sport is defiantly soccer, she's captain of the soccer team.
Caera's only known fear is her fear of spiders. She's horrified of them, but tries to swallow her fear and deal with them. For this, she is greatly admired among her friends.
Caera's not only good at sports, she's also a very fast reader and an ace at video games. She tends to like showing this off, reading at ten times the speed of friends and kicking her brothers' butts at video games. She's also a sore loser, often times if you beat her she'll say "I let you win, nimrod."
She tends to spend most of her waking moments working on schoolwork or sports. She's no good at mechanics. She likes studying. If someone wanted to cheat off her, she'd probably say that you need to study yourself, unless you're a good friend. But she won't let you copy her too much, and if you ruin her trip to college by getting caught she won't be happy.
Caera's fear of spiders makes some people think they have something they can win her over with. However, she acts like she doesn't care, making some people think she isn't afraid. She's trying to get over her fear, but keeps a firm dislike of the things. She also is a little shaky with needles.
Caera can't write. Or draw. Or play an instrument. She tends to not have a 'sense of style', either. Her friends go shopping with her to get her clothes. She can't cook anything other than grilled cheese and cereal.

there's gotta be somebody

Caera was born to a very large family, who all love each other very much. The family doesn't earn too much money, with only the father working as an accountant and her mother taking care of her siblings.
her parents met by chance. Her mother was the daughter of a rather wealthy Irish man, and her father a somewhat poorer son of a French architect. They met and fell hard, and her mother's father forbid it. But they went off and got married anyway. Her mother's father was not happy. So, he paid for nothing and didn't acknowledge his daughter at all.

Soon afterwards, they decided to have a family. Caera was the first born daughter, and she was the first of seven. Soon afterwards, her now 15 year old brother James was born, then her 13 year old brother Mickey, 11 year old sister Lillian, 9 year old sister Michelle, 7 year old brother Seamus, 3 year old brother Jeremy, and 1 year old sister Lila. They all get along well, except for a few fights. Most of the older siblings help out their mother by having part time jobs, Caera included. She works at Burger King. The older also baby-sit the younger kids, often having to go without pay. Caera doesn't usually bring people over because it's cramped as it is. Being the first born, she has her own room, but the other's have to share. Sometimes she'll let Michelle sleep in her room because she gets scared at night. To the girls, Caera's a bit of a role model, and to the boys she's a playmate. Caera's expected of a lot, so she's trying to get a scholarship by playing sports and doing well in class so her family doesn't have to pay for her education.
Usually, Caera has to put the kids to bed and tuck them in. Her brothers and sisters take care of the clean up. Caera usually makes them all go to bed around nine thirty, and does her homework, then goes to bed.
Caera' house is a three story, with a refinished basement. It's a russet color, with large windows. On the ground floor is the kitchen, first bathroom, sitting room, the patio entrance, the sunroom, and the playroom. In the basement are most of the bedrooms, with the younger girls sleeping in the same large room, and two for the boys since there's more of them. Caera, James, Mickey, and Lillian all have rooms on the second floor.
Caera's room is somewhat small, with her black-and-blue (no pun intended) bed near the -blocked- Her room overlooks the front, so she can see the front yard. Her room mostly has her books, and her closet is filled with her uniforms and shorts, jeans, and tee shirts. Her walls are a dark brown, and her carpet a bluish purple.

Devon - Devon's been me best friend since, ehh, i dunno, sixth, me sixth, that is. her fifth. She came up ta me 'n asked me if I had any marmalade. i said sure I do, and I dunno, we just clicked. Weird? We still joke 'bout the marmalade.
Taryn - You're a quiet kiddo, quieter than Dev. You never defend yourself, which is why I decided to intrude on your life. I've considered ya a friend since last year. Smart girl you are.
