Q: How do you draw your pictures?
A: I use PhotoShop CS2. Sometimes, if I'm drawing a personal picture for one of my neopets (rather than a comic or Art Gallery entry), I will first sketch the image on paper. Then I can scan it into the computer and easily draw over it. I tend to find that easier than drawing it straight onto the computer right away.

Q: Do you use a tablet?
A: As you go through my art gallery below, you'll notice that I used a mouse for most of my pictures. I started *seriously* (because I drew terrible pictures in earlier years that aren't even worth showing) drawing neopets in late 2006 and from then until mid-2009, I didn't have a tablet. I used a mouse for my entire picture. It was definitely a lot of extra effort, but it helped me learn PhotoShop very well and advance my art skills. I finally got a tablet on 29 May, 2oo9.

Q: What kind of tablet do you have?
A: I have a Wacom Intuos4 Medium, and I highly recommend it ;)

Q: Do you take art requests?
A: The answer is almost always "no," but you're still welcome to PM me and ask. I am constantly busy drawing my own neopets, writing poems/comics/stories, entering the Art Gallery/Beauty Contest, etc. So I don't have a lot of time! Also, I go through tons of sketches before I get one even remotely worth colouring. Most of the time, my ideas are scrapped simply because I can't draw it the way I imagine it. I have a feeling that if I took requests, a lot of pictures just wouldn't be very good for that reason. If I come across your neopet and am inspired, I might draw you a picture though!

Q: How do you make your neopoints?
A: I rarely actually try to make neopoints. There's honestly not much that I'm interested in buying. I already have the pets that I really want and I mainly play neopets to draw and write, which is not something that you need neopoints for. But on the occasion that I do want to make neopoints, I gain a lot from poetry contests (for my prize from the 1000th issue I got items worth a total value of 16m neopoints), I try my best to restock but I'm not very good, and I also play games and participate in World Challenges. I invest in the stock market and have made a few million neopoints from that.

Q: What is your favourite neopet?
A: My favourite neopets are Peophins, followed by Halloween Unis. I like these two neopets because horses are my favourite animal.

Q: Who is your favourite neopet to draw?
A: Mummify! I absolutely LOVE her story and it inspires me to draw. Plus she's a horse, which I also love drawing. Her mane and tail can be a total pain to draw and I've never been able to draw it as well as I did in my second picture of her, but it's still fun!

Q: Why are some of your images so big? Doesn't that just take longer? Why don't you draw a smaller image to save time?
A: Although they totally kill my computer, I like to use a large canvas (usually 2000 pixels wide/tall or more) for a lot of my pictures for two reasons. But first of all, I NEVER draw an image this big if it's for something simple like the Art Gallery. I only draw big images for personal neopets pictures. Anyway, the two reasons: first of all, having a larger canvas allows me to add a lot more detail to the picture. And details make a picture look much more appealing! Second of all, if I start out with a large image, I can always use that image for a petpage layout ;)
