How many pets can I enter the contest every week?
You can enter all your pets on your main account and, if you have side accounts, you can enter them too! It was confirmed in editorial #378!

I noticed that some pets are listed once only, but they have two identical trophies on their lookup! Did you forget to add them the second time by chance?
No, I didn't. Due to a glitch, it happened that a pet received a duplicate trophy, but they actually won once only!

May I vote on side accounts too?
TNT said no in editorial #344, so you can vote on your main account only.

While voting I noticed that some pets don't wear any wearable item, how is this possible?
The pet picture you rate while voting should show the pet's outfit when it was entered the competition, but sometimes pets are shown with their current customisation. So, for example, if you enter your lab rat, they change species during the week and you abandon them or don't customise them again, they can appear unclothed.

May it happens to see your own pets while voting at the Customisation Spotlight?
TNT said in editorial #579 that they set up the program so you can't come across your pets while voting. But it happened to me - as to other players - at least 5 times last year, so I guess they didn't program this thing that well!


Did you know?

If you want your pets to be notable, then you have to enter them in the customisation spotlight every week! The more consecutive weeks you submit your pets, the more chances you have to catch them notable.

Every contest begins on Monday. When you enter your pet, you enter them in the upcoming contest; if you enter them on Monday, they will be up for voting next Monday, so seven days later. If you enter your pet on Sunday, they will be up for voting the day after.

TNT introduced the customisation spotlight on September 18th, 2007. Unfortunately, there's not an archive page that shows all the past winners, so I thought to create one collecting all the info I can since this competition came out.
The Neopets news archive have helped me to find the 1st place winners since April 28, 2009. Before this date, unfortunately, many images are broken or replaced. :(

This archive is arranged by species, so you can have a look at the old winners and see which kind of outfit was voted with the highest scores.

Please note that some winners are not shown because of their owner's request.

If you see a pet with some question marks instead of their name it's because I don't know it. Please, if you know that pet's name don't hesitate to contact me!

If you have any suggestion, feedback or your pet (or your friend's pet) won the CS in the past and you have still saved an image of their outfit, please neomail me!
