Welcome! Welcome to my Pond of Paradise!	Hi there It's a beautiful day in Neopia Central. The sun is beating down happily, heating up the land. The temperature in the shade is just right, making this tree-surrounded pond the perfect place to hang out today. Light pours into the pond from the sky, creating a sparkling effect. The lilly pads shine with moisture. You sit quietly, enjoying the relaxing nature around you. This would be a perfect spot to have a picnic... As you look across the shining, murky water, you notice a disturbance in the stillness. There are a few bubbles coming up from underwater. What could it be? A water petpet, maybe? The bubbles slowly make their way towards you, until they're practically in front of you. The shadow under the surface is too big to be a petpet. Suddenly, the creature pops out, revealing a beaming face and sending splashes everywhere. "Hi there! I'm Amareth_kiko, but you can call me AK for short!" The little creature exclaims happily. "Who're you? You take a moment to catch your breath as your heart resumes it's normal rate. "I'm guest... are you a kiko? Nice to meetcha!" Her smile seems to grow even bigger, if that were possible. "Yup, I'm a kiko! My owner lilkittie080 says I'm a rare species, heehee! A breif moment of silence passes before she decides to speak again. "It's really nice out today, isn't it? You nod in agreement. "It's perfect. She giggles. "Yeah! So, do you want to talk? You nod again. "Sure... what about? Well... I could tell you a little about me if you want!" She suggests. Okay." You say. "Sounds good." Kikos Kittie's told me a lot about my species! Would you like to learn about kikos?" AK grins innocently. Yeah, okay." You reply. Well, to start off, Kittie says that kikos are a rare species and there aren't too many in Neopia! That makes me extra special. Kikos are ackwee... aquit..." Amareth pauses, sticking her tongue out slightly.Aquacktick pets, and that means that they like water and stuff! A kiko's claws are super strong and can even break though ice if they want to take a swim. But not if the ice is too thick." She nods. "I can't even break through super thick ice! She smiles. "Kittie also told me a story about where kikos came from! But Anna saidDon't listen to her, she's really crazy! But I don't think Kittie is crazy, she's fun! Do you want to hear the story? You nod, chuckling at the kiko's hyper behaviour. Well, lilkittie080 told me that kikos remind of these things called tadpoles! I've never seen a tadpole, but they must look like kikos. So anyway, Kittie says tadpoles have tails, but kikos don't! Kittie says that kikos were once born with tails and everyone had one and they were super awesome! But then they started being attacked by jetsams 'cause they thought their tails were tasty and they brought them back to their homes and sold them and stuff." She pauses to shudder. Soon, kikos just lost their tails when they saw jetsams around, but they never grew back, and then kikos were just born with no tail. But, I'm a special kiko 'cause I still have a tail! You smile at the child, interested in this story. "Wow, that was pretty neat! Heehee, thanks!" My Story I have my own story you know! It's about me. But it's not written yet. When it is, it'll be here. Stats Heehee. These are my stats. I know they aren't that good, but I'm not a fighter! You watch for a few minutes. AK turns to see what you're looking at, and, noticing the bubbles, beams. "Hey! It's Fishie! I was wondering where he'd gotten to! Huh? Who?" You ask, waiting for whatever was under the surface to pop out. Fishie!" The kiko shouts, just as a scado appears, blinking in curiosity. "Fishie says hello." Amareth says. Oh, hey there Fishie." You smile at the petpet. He's one of my bestest friends ever." The kiko says, patting the fish-like petpet on the head. "I love him." Family AK smiles, obviously enjoying herself. "Hey! Do you wanna know about my family? Do you?" She asks cutely. Sure. Why not?" You reply. lilkittie080 Kittie's my owner! She's really awesome to me. We have lots of fun and stuff! She takes me to kiko lake sometimes. That's where I was born you know! Aneoette4 Anna is my big sister. She's kind of mean sometimes, but most of the time she's lots of fun and takes me flying all over the place! I love my sister. :D Millicenteo Kittie let Milly live with us one day. She's so awesome! Her stories are so much fun to listen to and she's been almost everywhere! She's a traveller. lilsweetVanilla Vanilla is SO COOL! He plays guitar and writes songs sometimes.
