A pale mist hangs suspended in the air, swirling and parting as you pass. The shafts of sunlight that pierce the treetops set the mist ablaze in gold, and make the tiny particles shimmer in mid-air. The bamboo trunks are thick with age here, and tower above you like tall green beams swaying in the breeze with creaks and moans. The forest floor is soft beneath your feet; a pale yellow carpet of bamboo leaves fallen long ago that muffle your foot falls. Weaving among the trees, you hear the trickling sound of water falling gently over rocks. You head towards the sound and find a narrow stream flowing over moss-covered rocks as it heads away through he woods. A white equine figure stands in the water, the feathering on her legs trailing with the gentle current.

Her head turns towards you and she studies you with jade-colored eyes. Your first guess is that she is a uni, but details about her don't match your knowledge of a uni. She is much slimmer than most unis, shaped almost more like a deer, with slender legs and a lithe form. Her horn curves back and upward, and gleams like white gold. Her mane cascades down her neck in silky white hair that reaches down to her knees. Her body is covered in gleaming, pearl-white scales that start at her neck and hug every curve of her torso. The lion-like tail hangs behind her, the long hair falling in the water.
