You're enjoying a stroll though a nearby field. The weather is beautiful and the air is fresh, you don't have a care in the world.
A rustling noise in the overgrown hedgegrow on the outskirts of the field draws your attention, and you find yourself wandering over to investigate. Kneeling down you gently part the leaves with your hands and try to avoid making any noise.
Hidden in the depths of the bushes is collection of wild flowers of all types and colours, but there is a curious brown fleck in the very center of the flower patch, you lean closer to get a better look.
As you lean closer the brown fleck moves suddenly and before you know it there is a pair of large pair of deep brown eyes staring up at you. The Baby Bori cowers in the flowers, her height is no more than that of a common field mouse.
Her beautiful deep brown eyes stare up at you with fear, she is rooted to the spot in a feeble attempt to make herself less noticable. You coo at her softy and speak in a low gentle voice to try and calm her, before long you notice visable results as the baby starts to blink more often and shift her position. You're awed by this delicate little creature and cast a quizzical look down to her as you ponder about her life and what she is doing here...

Browsing through the lists of colours and pets at the Rainbow Pool she gazed at all the possibilities. She wanted a pet that she could cherish and adore, a pet that would always remind her of her childish side, the side of her that never wanted to grow up.

She settled on my species, a Bori. Then she considered which colour to choose. She already had a White Bori (Whisperofthegrass), so that colour was out. The recently released Bori colour caught her eye, she fell in love with the innocent face and the charming appeal of the Baby Bori and decided that was the pet for her.

Now, to decide on a name for her soon-to-be new baby. Joanna didn't want a long name, she didn't want a difficult to pronounce name, nor a name with any numbers or underscores. After thinking long on hard she decided on Alusive. It sounded girly but not common and it rolled off the tongue nicely when spoken, not to mention the added bonus of my nickname becoming Lusi.

My birth and my first days in Neopia

As January 26th dawned Joanna was eager to create her new pet, but to make the occasion even more special she decided to wait to create me until the exact time that she had been born herself, 3:45pm in the afternoon.

As the time drew ever closer Joanna made her way to Create a Pet. And so i was born, 3:45 pm on January 26th 2005. I was taken to the Rainbow Pool moments after being born to be painted with a Baby Paint Brush.

So there i was, not even an hour, old sitting in shock and trying to understand all the new things around me, unaware that i was being cooed over by Joanna and her friends.
I was showered in books and toys, i was taken to Mystery Island to play tombola, i was taken to the Lost Desert to visit Coltzans shrine, taken to the highest peak on Terror Mountain to do quests for Taelia. Phew, that's a lot for a new Baby to take in you know!

My life now

I settled well in my new home, comforted by the fact that i had a fellow Bori sibling, Whisper. Don't get me wrong, my other siblings were friendly enough to me, but it's never the same as being with your own species, us Boris like to be around each other and are very sociable.

I am kept as Joannas' active pet at all times, she says it's because i need most watching since i'm only young. I can take care of myself thank you very much! But still, it's nice being the center of attention, i know Joanna loves me very much.
I spend most of my time dwelling in Neopias forests and countryside, i tend to stay away from the busy life lead by most in Neopia Central.

My Petpet, Reseda.

Height: 18mms (1.8cms)
Reseda joined me when i was around 11 days old, i was trusted enough to be allowed my own Petpet to care for. I chose a Beekadoodle, why? Well, Beekadoodles are gentle easy to care for Petpets, Reseda is very sensible, very trust worthy, and very wise. She's small and light so she doesn't get in the way or cause problems to me as i explore Neopia.
Her small wings beat very fast and she can reach some amazes speeds when she is flying, i often send her ahead of me when i am exploring so that she can look out for any signs of on coming danger.
As you might have noticed, she's tiny, around double the height of an average human fingernail.

• I really like flowers, but my favourite flowers are Lilies and Bluebells.
• My Petpets name (Reseda) is Latin for "Healing".
• I love honey! Yummy!
• Like most Boris i have excellent hearing.
• I have poor eyesight, i can't focus well and depend on my other senses to guide me.
• My claws are small compaired to a typical Boris claws, and i'm not very good at digging (though i am practicing!)
• I'm very timid and tend to take fright easily.

Sorry, Alusive won first place overall or in her species on Feb 11, 2005 and cannot enter again until after Jun 04, 2005.
