The beginning of "BoB" was waaaaaaayyyyy back in the Altador Cup of '06 - Yes, that's right, the very first Altador Cup. Back then we were not BoB. The boards that were created were first called "UBF" (United Brightvale Front), and then for a while it was just "Brightvale".

BoB, as we all know, stands for "Brightvale on Toast". Yes, toast. I know what you're thinking; If it stands for Brightvale on Toast, then why is it "BoB"? Simple. Toast has a silent, invisible, liquid B in front of it.

Don't ask how Toast came into it, because now hardly anyone remembers, but basically the old supporters of Brightvale quickly became obsessed with Toast, and Bread in any form. One slogan back in Altador Cup 1 was Butter on Bread? Butter on Brightvale! Because every thing is better on Brightvale.

Things kind of evolved from there, and the old Brightvalians continued with their silliness. The name 'BoB' originally appeared because of the slogan mentioned above, and obviously we wanted to incorporate 'BoB' into our team's name somehow! The problem? Everyone liked 'Brightvale on Toast' too much! Aside from their obsession with Toast, they also had a rather annoying (but hilarious) habbit of running into invisible walls, invisible tables, invisible .. well, everything! This was the main reason why the BoBers thought up having an invisible 'B' in front of the word Toast. But in order for BoB to make sense - and to explain why no one had ever previously realised that there was in fact a 'B' at the beginning of the word 'Toast' - the invisible 'B' also had to be silent and liquid so as to escape notice (And to hopefully stop the BoBers from running into it!).

But BoB isn't just about Toast you know. While the history of our board title was being made, friendships were born and a new neo-family emerged. The BoB boards can always be found either on the Altador Cup chat board, or on the Virtupets Chat Board in the off-season.
