I never wanted anybody to touch me. It scares me. When I was born it seemed like everyone wanted to touch me, hold me, and coddle me, because I was the baby. I hated it. Just the feeling of another's body against mine was torture.

My mother had no idea why I cried at night when she lay next to me. She finally realized that if she lay further away from me, I wouldn't cry as much.

As I grew older, I had troubles keeping up relationships, be they friendships or romantics. It wasn't a matter of love, for I loved my friends and mates with all my heart. They grew tired of being unable to touch me...and left. Will anybody love me for me?
