Welcome to the webbie! Here you will find information on the guild. If you have any questions you are welcome to ask. But please make sure you read through this as it is very important. Also please remember to be active on the boards, and participate in activitys and such.

Note- In the goals area, with saying hieroglyphics and Egyptians, I wanna clear that up for you.
Hieroglyphics is the writing in Egypt, so when I say write how many hieroglyphics its just referring to posts. ^^
And when I say Egyptians like referring or so. That means members/people.
I hopped that cleared up any confusion that might have on ya.

Rules;

Here are the rules, they are simple so they shouldn't be to hard to follow.

1. Follow all rules set by TNT.
2. No spamming (No more then 3 posts in a row) and remember semi-lit.
3. Please don't start arguments of take part in them.
4. Respect all members.

Ranks & what they mean;

Yup these are the ranks and what they mean if your an ancient Egypt. Feel free to contact a council member if your rank has not been changed yet.

Outcast- If your an outcast your are very poor and probably homeless, and you will do anything to get food for you and your family.

Labour- Well your getting better, you got a job and your slaving in the hot sun, building pyramids, and doing all you can to make a living. You need to write 100 hieroglyphics and participate in at least one of the activities.

Farmer- Well done your getting well in life, you got your self a farm, and your selling your products, just enough for you to get some food of your own and a little bit extra. You need to write 250 hieroglyphics and bring one new Egyptian into the guild.(No fake side accounts please. This new member must post at least twice a week.)

Craftsmen- Just as good as a farmer except your making things pretty useful. Making jewelry, pottery, or art, its selling pretty well. You need to write 400 hieroglyphics and either host an activity or neomail a council member an idea for a cool activity you'd like to see.

Nobility- Good job you got your self noticed big time! You made great amount of money in life, enough for a big house for you and your family. And heck your job may even consist in helping the pharaoh (Tutankhamun) in someway. Write 600 hieroglyphics and bring in two Egyptians. (No fake side accounts please. This new member must post at least twice a week.)

What does 18th Dynasty mean?

The 18th Dynasty (1550-1292 BC) is perhaps the best known of all the dynasties of ancient Egypt. As well as boasting a number of Egypt's most famous pharaohs, it included Tutankhamun, the finding of whose tomb by Howard Carter in 1922 was a sensational archaeological discovery despite its having been twice disturbed by tomb robbers. The dynasty is sometimes known as the 'Thutmosid Dynasty' because four of the pharaohs had the name Thutmosis, which means "(The God) Thoth (Appears as a) Child." Hatshepsut and perhaps two others of a handful of native women known to be crowned king of Egypt, ruled during this dynasty, as did Akhenaten (also known as Amenhotep IV), the "heretic Pharaoh" who with his wife, Nefertiti, instituted what many identify as the first recorded monotheistic state religion.

This dynasty often is combined with the Nineteenth and Twentieth dynasties under the group title, New Kingdom.

Council positions;

If any position is open, you are feel free to apply. But you must be active, and have done something for the guild. And only apply if one of the spots are open.

Loyal advisor (Co-owner/Council 2)- Well your a loyal advisor to the pharaoh (Tutankhamun), which means you will do all you can to help the owner of the guild after all you are co-owner.
Secretary (Council 3): Its like helping out the Loyal Advisor or the Pharaoh.
Treasurer (Council 4): Controlling the finances in royal house.
Spokesperson (council 5): For this position in the royal house, you would speak good things about the pharaoh (well the guild) and you would be advertising and such.

Expectations:
-Are very active.

-Must be willing to create pages for the guild.
-Helpful to all members.
-Do not change the ranks or offical things of the guild with out asking the owner.
-Have some interest and knowledge about ancient Egypt.

Anubis the guild mascot


Anubis was associated with the mummification and protection of the dead for their journey into the afterlife. He was usually portrayed as a half human, half jackal, or in full jackal form wearing a ribbon and holding a flail in the crook of its arm.
