About Me

My life has been a long one. Though many would consider such a lengthy time on earth to be a blessing, in my culture it is frowned down upon. I was cursed with extended life because of my mother's family background. Now, ages after I should have passed on, I still walk the earth. I've done all I could to try and ease my life to an end, but nothing seems to have helped so far. Maybe some day I'll find the one who can, once and for all, rid me of this cursed life. Until then, I'll just have to keep looking…

My Stories

Unfortunately, as I am still very new to these lands, I do not have any stories to share as of yet. I will be sure to put them here once I do, though.

Draiks

In this section I will brief you on the history of Draiks as well as information on the Draik community… particularly the ones created by Rose.

While some Draiks are "hatched" and counted among the numbers of official Draiks, I was transmogrified into my current form. I like to think of my self as an enhanced, and superior Draik considering I took the form unnaturally. Many Draiks become this way through the use of a potion.

Rose, my owner, owns four Draiks on three different accounts. While I tend to avoid the others as often as possible (with the exception of young Aire, whose company I enjoy), the other two can have their decent moments. Click on one of us to visit our page.

The Draik Clan is a gathering grounds for all types of Draiks. It's a widely diverse community where each member (or prospective member) can find something they enjoy whether it's Adoptables, Role-Plays, or even just socialization. Anyone is welcome with the new Guest Forums - feel free to stop by and take a look even if you don't have a Draik.

My Friends

These are the few people I consider to be my friends. I have listed them in order depending on which one of them I met first.

Vyala is a charming young Ruki who was actually the first person I happened to meet upon arriving to Neopia. She was very kind to me in helping me find my way even though I could tell I made her feel uneasy.

Aire is the young lady of my own species who I have happened across the most. She's still very young, but I can tell she'll be a fine young woman once she ages. I'm pleased to have met her and I hope that someday she and I can become very close. I'm afraid she isn't quite as fond of me as I am her, but I am positive that she will warm up to me eventually.

Lady Ausuzu is another Draik that I have had the honor to know. She is a very kind and gentle lady which constantly leaves me wondering what she sees in me where she would enjoy my company. I can only hope that I will be able to spend more time with her and hear more of her cheerful stories.

Petpet

These two beings are Mordehn and Almquot. Mord is the head on the right and Alm is the one on the left. They share the same body which, in my culture was a sign of divinity. Therefore, it was only natural that the two of them would end up with me. I still have yet to find out if they really are some form of deity - after all, they've survived with me through a great many things. They are very loyal to me and, for that, I am grateful. I know they prefer a warmer, dryer climate, but they stick around with me wherever my travels lead.

My Collections

I'm not sure if I'd call them collections as much as simply prized possessions that I admire. These are the few things I've managed to save over the years - my favorite items being any Draik or Snowickle items as well as any Bone or Death-related items.

So you've made it this far, have you? Still interested in trading customs with me? Well, my Adoptables are pretty tough customs to make and are very detailed so I have a few rules that you must read before Neomailing me a trade request. Keep in mind, I have been doing Adoptable trades for years. I have learned from several bad experiences that it's best if I make a lot of requirements before I trade. I hope you can understand that.

From the time our trade "begins" we each have ONE WEEK to make the trade for the other. That means I expect my custom from you by then. However, I will allow you more time if you need it (for whatever reason) - just ask politely and keep me updated on your progress. We can work something out, I'm sure. :) I've had trouble in the past where I've been cheated out of trades because people conveniently forget or don't pay me back. I'd like to avoid that… This also means that I give you my word that yours will be finished within the same amount of time. If it isn't, then your custom is either free, or you will get any other custom free of charge to make up for me taking too long.

You MUST provide me with a full reference picture. I will NOT make customs from descriptions. I eyedropper your images to match the colors exactly - I need an image to do that.

Be polite. If you follow all of my rules but are rude to me, then I have any and all right to refuse you. 'Please' and 'thank you' do more than you may think. Respect me and I will respect you in return.

I will only trade for full-bodied Adoptables! This means your adoptable must be the same kind that I am making for you and it must be a full body. Not just a head, not just half, the whole thing. My adoptables are full-bodied, so I'd like to trade for a full-bodied adopt in return. Oriental Draiks trade for Oriental Draiks only (STB Draiks are okay, "Dragons" are not. I will not make customs for anthro/biped/non-oriental-style Draiks from this set.), and Snowickles trade for Snowickles - sorry, but if you don't have the same "kind" I do, we can't trade!

I will provide an "Adoptable Trade Request Form" below. Copy that exactly and Neomail it to me when trades are open to start a trade. If you do not follow this rule, then I will ignore your Neomail.

This goes without saying, but any trades with me will be trading for customs of my Draik, Almorion (nickname: Almor); and my Snowickle, Mordehn and Almquot (MordAlm). Their full refs can be found here:

Roleplay

So you'd like to Roleplay with Almor, huh? Well, great! But don't think you're going anywhere right away, there are a few things that I want to get across before you Neomail me. Most of what I'm about to tell you can be clarified more in Almor's F.A.Q.s, My F.A.Q.s, and at Igan's RP Guide.

Before you decide on a pet that you want to meet Almor, there are a few things to keep in mind. First off, just because we RP them, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll become best friends or mates or whatever so don't count on it. We are RPing solely to introduce our pets. Whether they become friends/enemies/whatever is up to how they react to each other - nothing is guaranteed. If you just want to RP so your female Draik can use Almor as a status symbol, FORGET IT. The same goes for art - I rarely draw fanart and, when I do, it's either for my sisters or it's for friends I've had for years. So if you're RPing with me just to get free art/adoptables - find another sucker-artist to pester.

There are a few things that you should know about Almor before you decide to RP with him. Now, just because I'm going to share these with you doesn't necessarily mean that your pet knows them. For instance, Almor comes from a very strange culture. I'll explain it all in stories as I release them, but he pretty much was raised by strange Draiks who celebrated the dead. They were so obsessed with it, that they'd kill each other as a way of showing affection. Almor was the young prince of this particular clan of Draiks before they were all killed off (but I won't tell you why, I don't want to spoil the surprise). So he's spent the last several years of his life traveling around, wishing that someone would kill him - though he has no one who loves him enough to do so. He thinks he may be on the trail of someone who can answer some questions for him, though... maybe his travels will bring him there eventually. Until then, he's occupying his time in a desperate search for a mate. Seeing as how he's the last remaining of his race, he'd like to do his part to ensure the culture's future by having children. However, I'm not so sure that he'd ever meet a female that would be into the same kinds of things he is. Beware of him - he acts nice and romantic, but he's probably only testing you. Remember, as a prince he was used to getting everything he wanted - females included... Almor's petpet was given to him and was thought to be a symbol from his ancestors. The two-heads symbolized deity in his culture, so Mordehn and Almquot were treated as such. To learn more about Almor, keep watching his story section for whenever I can update it...

Now, if you think you have a pet that might get along (or clash - because opposites/rivalries are really fun too), read Almor's F.A.Q.s, check my Lookup to see if RPs with Almor are open, and then go ahead and drop me a Neomail! Be sure to tell me which one of my pets you want to RP with, tell me which one of your pets you want to use and any important info about them. I want to be sure that they are compatible with Almor (whether positive/friendly or negative/enemy). Please keep in mind that I want to try and limit Almor to roleplaying with Draiks only. This is because too many people try to use my limited edition pets as status symbols for their lame, unpainted, 7 hour old pets with names like "britney920138spearsneo" (but, of course, she goes by "Kairi"!!111) :p I will keep an open mind, however - and if you have a non-Draik or a soon-to-be that you can really impress me with, I may be open to an RP. Try me - but you'll have to impress me if your pet isn't a Draik - that's all I'll say. Once I think our pets could have a good RP, I'll usually say something like "Okay, why don't you send an intro." You can start RPing with your next Neomail.

Please note that I will flat out refuse to RP with a clone. Yes, it's good if our pets have things in common, but if I think your pet seems too identical to mine or if it seems as though you created your pet JUST to roleplay with me, I will turn you down right away. Some examples of this would be to Neomail me with "Hey can we RP? My Poogle is a forgotten prince who's the last remaining survivor of his culture that celebrated the dead... LOL just like Almor!!" or "My female Draik is an ancient princess who longs to find royal blood. Appearances don't matter to her, it's really what's on the inside that counts - please ignore the fact that she's only 3 days old.... and I know she's an Aisha right now, but I'm saving for her potion!!!" As bizarre as it seems, I get Neomails like that all the time and they drive me CRAZY. I WILL NOT RP with a clone or a maid-in-white-lace, got it?

Don't worry about being super-formal, because it doesn't really matter to me. I do prefer the Story-style over Chat-Style (refer to my RP Guide if you don't know what that means), but I will follow whichever mode you are most comfortable with :) Do be warned, though, if I get bored or if things just aren't working out, I'll either seriously slow replies or I'll just stop replying altogether. I also go through 'busy periods' where I may only reply once a week. This is normal for me so don't Neomail me saying "omg howcome you haven't replied, it's been like four days!!!" :p

I'm sorry there's so much to be said on this subject, but I've had a lot of bad experiences in the past - everything from people using my characters for popularity to people using me for free art. I'm just trying to avoid these things from happening any more than they have to :)

How did you afford a Trans Potion/PB for Almor??
Lots and lots of saving ^^;; I also buy a lot of scratchcards and do a lot of Snow Faerie Quests :3 Almor's Transmog was a little over a million np when I bought it.

Why Ghost?
Because it's the most fitting Draik color as of yet :3 I'm going to wait and see how it goes, though… if they release an irresistible Halloween Draik I just might paint him that color ^^ Ghost PB - around 400K

Can my pet date Almor??
Well… Almor can be quite the charmer when he wants to be… I guess you'd have to check our lookup and see if RPs are open :p (Please read the FAQ question regarding RPing on Brenda's Page, read Almor's section on "Roleplay" {above}, and check my lookup before Neomailing me to RP)
