Welcome to Color Makes my Heart Sing, a new pet directory!
I know many of you are probably thinking, 'Ugh, how many of these do we need?!' It is true that there are a lot, but while browsing through many of them, I noticed that they either have stopped updating them, haven't updated in a while, were almost empty, or did not include the basic colors. I plan to update this page as often as possible, and hopefully get your pet up the day you mail it to me! Yes, I have that much time on my hands, even while going to college full time and working part time.
And now for everyone's favorite part, the rules!
1. This directory will only list ONE of each type and color and pet. Yes, one. If you wish for your pet to be added, please check first to see if the spot is open before mailing me. There may be a few cases where the pet you want listed is open, and I have not updated the list before you asked. There is a chance then that the spot will no longer be free, and I will mail you telling you of this. This is a first-come, first-serve kind of thing. Any submissions after the spot is filled will be put on a waiting list, explained in rule two. There is no limit on how many pets you can enter, as long as the spot is free. 2. If the pet you want listed is taken, but you notice that the link no longer goes to a pet of that color and/or species, mail me and I will take it down and replace it with yours, unless there is someone else in line before you. 3. None of these pets are up for adoption! Please don't mail the owner and beg. 4. Only submit a pet if you no longer plan to use the lab ray on him or her, or you do not plan on repainting. I understand in cases of Boochi, but if this happens, please mail me and let me know what you plan to do. 5. I'd appreciate if you linked back to this petpage should your pet get added, but it is not mandatory. 6. To get your pet added, mail me with something in the subject line to let me know you're mailing about this directory, with a link to your pet, the color and species. Click here to mail me. If my inbox is full for whatever reason, try again later. 7. If you wish to affiliate with me, please let me know and we can exchange buttons/links. :)
02/03/07: CMmHS has finally been opened and already adding pets!
02/04/07: We're continuing to add pets! IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ! 04/11/07: Did you mail me a while ago, but your pets were not added? That's because you didn't send your pets in link form. I wasn't very busy when I opened this directory, but now I have a job that eats up a lot of my time, and when people mass send me pets, it'd be a lot easier to copy and paste links then search for them myself. I ask in the rules that you link me to your pets, simply because I don't have the time to collect links to several pets, or add them to the end of the link. It's a pain to paste the link, go back, copy the name, and then paste the name at the end. |
