And so the story begins...
In one particular corridor of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, Neville Longbottom was strolling away, whistling a carelessly made-up tune, when there she stood....
Professor Mildred Huggins, the newest
potions teacher this year, after Professor Snape had done himself, and the students, a favor by retiring while he was still young. Professor Huggins had a plan, and a secret. "No, no, no. This will simply not do, Mr. Longbottom. You cannot be lurking the unknown corridors of our lovely school! Detention!" the Professor shrieked. But of course, Neville couldn't risk getting a detention, or talking back to a teacher, otherwise his grandmother would pull him out of school, forever, and she was a nuisance.
But the thing was, Neville wasn't in an unknown corridor, he was on his way to the Great Hall. He was late to lunch. The sneaky, clever, and flamboyant Professor Huggins left the corridors, and hasn't been seen again...
It wasn't just Neville who noticed her mysterious disappearance, Ron Weasley was also curious about this new professor. Neville and Ron were just passing into the Gryffindor common room when they heard a booming cackling noise closing in on them from all sides. "What just happened? Did a rogue bludger chase after Harry again?" Ron queried. "I don't think so," murmured Neville in a scared tone. More cackling. Whimpers and cries from Ron as he faints, falling like an oak tree to the ground...
Where is he, thought Neville,
isn't this the time when Harry comes and saves us all? Apparently not. Harry didn't come to save them, no, he didn't come at all. Neville was about to cry when the cackling wouldn't stop.
Turning around, hopeful that he might find the source of the cackling, Neville saw a tiny child, throwing around thunder-sand.
Who is this child, and what is she doing here? thought Neville.
In the days to come, Neville and Ron did a little research on a
certain potions professor. As it turns out, the only witch alive who could obtain the extremely rare, as rare as unicorn hair, "Bottle-up-a-Baby" potion was none other than Professor Huggins herself! This specific potion could turn the drinker into a small child, and in the Neville's case, the small child
was Professor Mildred Huggins!
But where on planet earth could a child get thunder-sand? It was only a myth, no witch nor wizard has ever cpome in contact with this substance. It was just something to dream about at night, something worth the lasting and agonizing pain it can cause to the beholder. Speaking of Professor Huggins, where is she?
