How do you draw your comics?
I use four main things to draw, an artist's tablet, Photoshop CS2, Opencanvas and my head. I use Opencanvas to line my comics and Photoshop to color them in. CLICK HERE FOR MY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL. Caps lock time. O__O

Can my pets be in your comics?
Erm...No. Sorry. Unless I know you personally (like, you're my friend or something) or you do something for me, the chances of your pet being in my series is quite low.

Why aren't your pets painted? Or anything?
Partially because I am too poor to afford any paintbrushes that I think look pleasing, and because I think the "common" colors (like blue, yellow) actually look nice. They're simple and plain! Though I like pretty pets as much as the next person, I don't want to be the type of person who shows off their pet and openly trades it for unconverted/whatever they're called today. My pets have personalities, traits, and quirks. Even though they aren't "amazing or special" I love them just the same. Though one day they might be colored~ hahaha. xD

What's with Cicero's scar?
Well, that's a story for another day. Here's a hint though: It relates to his previous life. He is a ghost after all! :3

Can I use your characters in my comic?
OH YES THAT'D BE AWESOME POSSUM. Remember to ask first though! If you do, I might as well include your pets in my comic too. Sorry if I seem super-excited-dangmang, but it's been one of my dreams to have my pets in another person's comic.

Is there anyone in the Neopian times you look up to?
A lot of people! I've been following the NT for a long time now. If I were to say only one person though, it would be Ghostkomorichu! Her comics were what inspired me to start drawing in the NT in the first place. Read them if you haven't! They're genius.

Any tips in getting into the NT? My stuff keeps getting rejected!
Well, if you're writing a story, then I can't help you with that. Uhm, be sure to have correct grammar and spelling, that's for sure! xD As for comics, I can tell you some advice. One! Make sure your idea isn't overdone or clique! Otherwise it'll be rejected as quickly as it was submitted. Two! Put in some effort. Any good comic takes longer than thirty minutes to draw. For example, mine take one to two hours to finish. No one wants to read a messy comic that looks lazy. Color and readable text is a plus, too. Three! Expect to wait. The peeps at NT have a lot of writing and comics to go through, so it might take about two weeks for even a response. Again, my comics take a month for anything to come back. And when you submit it, please don't submit it again until you get a response back. And...If you need any more help, just neomail me! I don't bite. ^u^

I'm trying to start a series in the NT. Where should I start?
Always start with the idea, not the title. What's the comic going to be about? Where will it take place? Who is going to be starred in it? Such as, when I started my comic, I just wanted to make fun of the plot holes the world of Neopia (specifically at the diseases Neopets could get). However, after awhile it became more general, but the name "Medical Tree" stuck with it.
Usually it doesn't matter where the comic takes place, but it's always neat seeing your characters in one place most of the time. It gives the feeling that they live in that area, and makes them more believable. (I mean, hows a pet going to get to Shenkuu and Kreludor in a week?)
Now, the characters. These pets (or maybe you) will be a key factor in your comic series. People will start to recognize your characters, along with your thumbnail and know what to expect. (i.e. This comic is usually funny, or it's really pretty, etc..) Make sure YOU like your characters! Try to flesh them out. It's funny the first time if a Wockey is a nerd and can only say the word "duckens", but you can't do much with him. Your characters need to be lovable (or annoying I guess), can adapt to many situations, and can be interesting for a long long time. Don't just draw something and be over with it. Spend some time creating your characters. :D

Where do your pets live at?
They live in some remote town somewhere in Krawk Island. In their free time they like to go out to the main land and do some shopping, but most of the time they stay on their little island and roam around. Sometimes they purchase some Shenkuu airship tickets and fly to different areas of Neopia. Krackle loves going to Meridell, Aktumiku likes Shenkuu, Siensel enjoys Faerieland and Cicero seems to like Altador. But in the end they like staying at home.

OHHEMMGEEE WRY did you change Siensel's color?
I was extremely lucky and got a cheap fountain fairy quest! She asked for a fig. YUP don't ask why. Figs are yummy, I guess. o___o Anyhoo, there'll be more backstory later. She's still the same ol' happy Siensel though! Just now with four ears. I think the alien color matches her personality.

How'd you afford a darigan gelert AND for the fig for Siensel all of the sudden?
I got a grey paint brush for getting an entry in the neopian times on grey week. YEYY then I sold it and used the cash for a darigan gelert, ONE OF MY DREEAAAMM PETS. :D
Then I got really lucky and got a fountain quest, and I used the rest of the money for the fig. I AM SO HAPPY GAHHHHH~

A darigan gelert. He'll one day be in my comics. I'm looking forward to that! :)

What the heck is underneath Aktumiku's extremely...covering hair? His left eye is always covered!?
Well. I meant for it that his hair would always cover up his left eye. But I mess up a lot when I draw his hair (so it ends up covering the wrong side). D:
His right eye is brown. His left eye is...oh, I'll just reveal it. It's gold colored. Why? There's a backstory to that but I'm too lazy to really say it right now, haha. Maybe I'll draw about it someday.
