[ZOMG FEAR ME I'M A DEMON] It's dark, the sky is starless and the moon is nothing but a thin, curved slit on light. There are no clouds, only sky. Beautiful, isn't it? You turn your head to the new sound, and spot a white Kougress. She has black paws and a black tail. Her underbelly is also black. Around her neck was a small green emerald on a chain, a bright red aura surrounding it. Her eyes are a bright blue, shimmering. She has a wide grin on her face. You wanna learn about me too? The Kougress asks, trotting over to your side. I'm Aetina, Her eyes flashed red and she smirked. And I'm going to eat you. Aetina cackles and grabs at your hand with her teeth, pulling you over to a tree. Now sit and listen, or I seriously will eat you. I was born a regular Kougress, with a mother and a father, proud of themselves and proud of me. Like a dalmation, I was born with pure white fur. My mother, a black Kougress with bright blue eyes, was always looking out for me. My father, on the other hand, a black and white Kougra, could care less about his only daughter. As I grew older, mymother and I grew distanced, and I looked forward to the day I could move away and find my own home, to start my own life. I was as old as a human child at the time of the accident, the day when my life flipped over, everything draining out of the cracks in the sides. The three of us were sitting in our cave, my mother sleeping and my father keeping a somewhat watchful eye over me. Suddenly, another Kougra, much larger than me or my parents, ran into the cave her eyes wide. "We need you two." She murmerred to my parents, ignoring me. My mother and father got to their feet, my mother grabbing me by the scruff of my neck before walking to the entrence of her cave. "You can't." The Kougress said to my mother, motioning to me. My father rolled his eyes. "Just leave her, we'll be right back anyway. She can take care of herself for sure." He smiled at me, his eyes twinkling. Sure, my father had major mood swings... but he was a nice guy when it came down to it. My mother sighed and set me down, nudging me to the corner of the cave. "Stay there, we'll be right back." And with that, my parents walked out with the other to do god knows what. Except they never came back. I stayed in the cave like my mother had said. Stay they... we'll be right back.... Her words played and rewound over and over in my head as I starved myself in the cave, waiting for my mother and father. One day, the same Kougra who had called for my parents a few weeks earlier returned, looking beaten up and torn apart. "Aetina." She whispered into the cave, walking over to the dirty white, now light grey Kougra cub in the corner of the cave that was me. "Sweetie, your parents are gone." She whispered to me. I looked up to her with wide eyes. "They're gone?" |
