17th May 2012 - The Altador Cup approaches...
...but I guess if you're on this page, you were already aware of that. Still, someone pointed out that I hadn't actually updated this page since December, so here's another update.
Firstly - As I mentioned before, the calculator will be back, hopefully this time at the start of AC (And not one or two weeks into it like last time). Just letting you know that hasn't changed. You may notice it appearing and disappearing over the next week or so as I get around to doing some testing. Keep in mind there are some things I can't really test until the AC gets underway so the start might be a little hit and miss as to whether it still works from last year or not.
Secondly - I'll be with a different host this year and on a package with a lot more bandwidth, so the calculator should stay up for the whole month this time, but I don't yet know if it'll load quicker/slower or about the same speed. I know it took a couple of seconds to load last year so I'm hoping it won't be worse than that this year, but I can't promise anything.
Thirdly - Please spread the word! Maybe not right now, because this page is nothing more than some text, but once the AC starts and the calculator is up, please consider posting the link to your team's board, your guild or any people you know might be interested*. I will have a post up on the AC boards which I will link from here, so feel free to pop by and say hi - it'll help keep the post active.
I know roughly the number of hits per day and total unique users it got last year, and I'm hoping to beat it this year - so I need your help! :)
Lastly - a few thanks:
To Usukii, for (sort of) suggesting this to me in the first place,
To Nienkju, for the layout and graphics for this page,
To anyone who neomailed me compliments, complaints, suggestions and anything else during last year's AC. I know I didn't reply to them all - but I did read them all. I'll try and keep on top of them better this year, so go ahead and neomail me if you want.
And, of course - last but not least, thank you to everyone who used the calculator last year. It's great to see people getting use out of it, and that's one of the main reasons I decided to keep it going this year (And the foreseeable future, if all goes well).
So that's it for right now, but you should hear from me at least once more before the AC starts.

* But please don't spam it absolutely everywhere - that'll probably just end up annoying people, which we don't want :(
17th December 2011
Seeing as this page is still getting views and I've done next to nothing on Neo since the end of AC VI, I just thought I'd write a quick note letting everyone know that the AC calculator will be back for AC VII (Hopefully I'll be able to improve upon last year, too).
There's also lots of new things I want to do in 2012 with petpages, so keep an eye out - some of those will be AC related, but there should be some exciting things popping up earlier than then :)

If you send scores that are below the minimum score, it will count as a play but you will not receive points (Nor will you get any closer to the next rank).
This calculator only knows the total number of games you've played for each mini-game, and so may think you are at a higher rank than you really are if you've sent scores below the minimum.
Bugs? Comments? Suggestions? Neomail me.

Notes
PPP stands for Points per play - the number of points you receive when you send a eligible score for a game. Note that there are minimum scores for SS, MSN, and SOSD, which are as follows:- Slushie Slinger minimum score: 285 points.
- Make Some Noise minimum score: 3000 points.
- Shootout Showdown minimum score: 1 goal (I've now confirmed this myself).
If you send scores that are below the minimum score, it will count as a play but you will not receive points (Nor will you get any closer to the next rank).
This calculator only knows the total number of games you've played for each mini-game, and so may think you are at a higher rank than you really are if you've sent scores below the minimum.
