 The Neopian's Guide to Sloth.
Did an odd-looking creature come to you in a random event? Or perhaps you saw his name somewhere and wondered who he is? *Shudders* If he knew I was giving you this information, well, there's no telling what would happen to me. Or to you, for that matter, but that's a different story. So who exactly is this fellow who strikes such fear in the hearts of people like you and I? It could be no other than the criminal mastermind Dr. Frank Sloth himself. A manical genius, Sloth has brought terror and chaos to Neopia for years. Until his recent capture, at least. However, don't let that misguide you, as he still continues to plot his taking over of Neopia.
Don't remember what he looks like? Allow me to refresh your memmory.
 Dr. Frank Sloth
As you can clearly see from his menacing appearance, he should be avoided at all costs. If ever you come into contact with him, the best option is to run away. Run as fast as you can, or even better, fly, although he may still blast you to smithereens.
Origins
But where did such an evil character come from, and why hasn't TNT done anything about it? The answer to your first question is quite vague; the answer to your second we might never know. However, his immediate origins are quite clear. He was first introduced in August of 2000 in the Virtupets Space Station, bearing a mutation ray he developed, using it on Grundos in order to make an army to invade Neopia. Miraculously, the Space Faerie was able to reverse the mutation ray, causing the Space Station to explode, saving the lives of many innocent Neopets, which Sloth had hoped to add to his vast armies. It is not known what species of Neopet he is, if he is even a Neopet at all, despite bearing resemblance to a Chia, it is not known for certain what he really is. He has his own entry in the Neopedia , as well as one in the Gallery of Evil .
More Evil? Oh, no!
Unfortunately for the rest of Neopia, Sloth was not finished once defeated by the Space Faerie. Lying in darkness, he slowly made his way back. In the 3rd annual Cheat! championships, he watched Brucey B win his way to victory by means of a magical coin. Sloth hired a Jetsam to play Brucey B. The mysterious Jetsam responded by winning all of Brucey B's money, betting it against the coin. Somehow, the Jetsam won, and Sloth used the coin to get into the pyramids in the Lost Desert, recently rediscovered. He robbed the tombs of their riches, using the Staff of Alhasutek to take over Sakhmet. Foiled by Brucey B, again he escaped into space and was not seen or heard from again for a very long time.
The Mutating Pets
Some time later, shopkeeper Kauvara received a strange visit from a concealed stranger, offering her a number of strange-looking potions, called Transmogrification Potions. The stranger told her that these were the best things ever to hit Neopia. She bought a number of them, deciding to try and see how they sold. She quickly became horrified when her customers turned into mutated monsters, and quickly stopped her sale. It can only be assured that these menacing brews came from no one but Sloth himself.
How do we know that these come from Dr. Sloth? Well, you will find out, if you're lucky enough.
Random Events
*WARNING* These random events are not going to give you or take from you any items/neopoints! They are simply for display. Please don't neomail me telling me you didn't get your Transmogrification Potion or you didn't lose any Neopoints after visiting this page. I have already addressed this matter with TNT. Thank you!

Games and Contests
Sloth, while as revolting as he is, remains a centerpiece to the history of Neopia, and such has been featured in a number of games.
On October 5, 2006, he was a challenger of Better than You , scoring 530 points in Advert Attack.
On April 12, 2007, he was again a challenger of Better than You, this time scoring 4,750 points in Neverending Boss Battle.
He has also been depicted in numerous Caption Contests .
#6 , #40 , #137 , #313 , #362 , #408 , #474 , #490 , #510 , #511 , #580 , #606 , #665 , #666 , #713 , #767 #797 .
He also plays a part in other games, including:
The Carnival of Terror Escape to Kreludor Freaky Factory Korbats Lab Spacerocked! Splat-a-Sloth The Return of the Return of Dr. Sloth Time Tunnel and ToyBox Escape.
*NOTE* Although Sloths Invasion Tax is not a playable game, you may or may not receive a trophy, depending on the amount that he takes:
 1st place
 2nd place
 3rd place
The Happiness Faerie
It is rumored that occasionally Sloth may be spotted as the Happiness Faerie, although there is no solid evidence yet proposed. Be on the lookout, as it may not be possible to tell if it's really him or not.

*NOTE* Because of the vast number of items, I am only including those that contain 'Sloth' in their title that are obtainable by a Neopets user.

The Halloween Moehog
Apparently when designing the Halloween Moehog, like Ableptic, TNT decided to play a little joke on Sloth by designing the pet to look like him. I'm not sure if he found it very funny, but it does not appear that he had a problem with it. As a matter of fact, he is probably laughing manically wherever he is now, muttering what a fool TNT must be.

Original Art
All original artwork done by me, stromatolite. Please don't steal or claim as your own.
First drawing I ever did. Wasn't the best, used colored pencils. 2nd overall species in BC that week.
Second time drawing. Made my own 'Sloth Clone Helmet' and tried to convey a 'Star Wars' Theme.
Third time. Best one so far, I think. It's a comic in itself, if you think about it. A little joke too. x)
The Neocola Machine
At last, we have arrived at the topic I'm sure most of you are wondering. Where does the Neocola Machine come from? And first off, what is the Neocola Machine, you ask? Simple, the Neocola Machine is a beat up-looking vending machine found on Kreludor. It looks like this.
(Clicking the image will bring you to the actual Neocola Machine.)
But that doesn't answer my question, you say. What is it? No one is really sure, although guesses have been made that, you guessed, it, Sloth was the creator behind it. Is it evil? From what has happened so far, it doesn't appear to be, but strange disappearances have been noted. It may help to read this book (although it's probably very expensive and might not help at all, and in no way am I saying that if you read this book, you will find out anything.)

OKAY SO WHAT ABOUT THE MACHINE! Oh, yeah. Sorry. Well from what we know about it, there are three kinds of tokens that it accepts, and they can all be bought from user shops and restocked from the Space Weaponry shop. They are called Neocola tokens and look like this:
(Which makes it even more suspicious that Sloth is behind it all.)
Anyway, once you get a token, you can try for a mysterious prize. Simply bring the token with you when you visit Kreludor. If you forget, well, go back and get it, (although you should probably remember, since the economy is so heavy on gas today) and proceed to the Neocola Machine once you arrive. Simply visit the Machine and you will be asked what token you would like to use. Once you figure that out, you will have to select a flavor of Cola you want. You are able to choose from the following:
-Dr. Slother
-Diet Doom
-Na'cho Cola
-Smite
-Alt-Tab
-Minion Maid
-Mountain Poo
-Dehydrated H20
Once you figure out your delicious flavor, you have to pick how many times you would like to press the red button. You don't have to press it at all, you can press it once, twice, three times, ten times, or forty-two times. Then you may receiveone of the following:

As of yet, I have not verified whether it is possible to win a Transmogrification Potion from the Neocola Machine. Some very credible players have reported it, though I have yet to confirm it myself.
Synopsis
Generally speaking, if you ever come into contact with the most vile of Neopia's villains, run away as fast as possible. He may be "playing" nice in giving you a Transmogrification Potion, but who knows what he really wants from you. If there is no escape, it is best to do what he demands from you, although you may be better off blasted to smithereens. Please, under any circumstance unless those noted above, do not encourage or mimic the behaviours observed by Dr. Frank Sloth, as he is unmatched in his insatiable quest to take over Neopia. In short, beware.
