(Note: Aara often speaks in double words due to an odd faerie quirk.) You find yourself in a forest overflowing with life. The trees are decorated with leaves, some with flowers, while grass grows across the floor. There is moss, toadstools and flowers aplenty as far as the eye can see and you detect the trickling of a small brook or a mini waterfall somewhere close by. You've heard about this place, located in the heart of the Beltaine Woods. This must be the home of the Seelie Faerie Princess, Aaraendorlia.
Sure enough, you see something nestled on a flower up ahead and it startles into the air. As you approach, you can see the form of a lithe faerie Dragon hovering in front of you curiously, large fire-rimmed faerie wings coming from her back. She looks almost scared at seeing you, but doesn't flee. You note how similar her colors are to the coming dawn and her miniscule size. She must be no larger than your average housecat! She blinks at you with large golden eyes and tilts her head curiously.
You must be herely here to see if I've run away again?" she seems unsure and looks behind you. "Did my fatherly father send you, or was it Aduial playing another prankly prank?" Rather than waiting for you to reply she looks down, a slight flush coming to her cheeks. "Oh, how silly silly of me. I bet you're just here to learn about me and Aduial-twin, aren't you? Of course, of course. Well, if you'd like to sit downy down, I'd be more than willing to tell you of our story."
It is curious that mother should hatch an egg with two distinctly opposite hatchlings. The two Faerie Courts are supposedly eternal rivals, representing the opposites: light and dark, good and evil, honor and chaos in life. (However, this 'eternal rivalry' has been proven wrong twice so far. Once with my twin and I and another that I shall talk about later.)
The real turning point for me, which I can only see looking back, was a prank Aduial played, another of her firsts. She and I were at a pool, and mother had just dropped us off. I had never really been near waterly water before, aside from bathtime (which Aduial and I always made interesting) and was fascinated by it. It was so deep and blue and prettyily pretty. However, Aduial came up from behind me and pushed me in. I screamed and screamed and choked on lots of water and than someone dove in and fished me out. When I fell in that water, it was as though my mind has erased. Since than, despite what I do, water just makes me shiver all over. I don't blame Aduial, but I won't lie - I was petrified.
I wasn't certain why Aduial didn't feel the least bit upsetly upset about our running away, but it was than that I realizes we were a lot different from one another. Nothing will ever get in the way of what we share, but that was a bit of an awakening to a side of her I would see more frequently frequent.
A long time ago, what was actually months for everyone else, Aara and I were attending the May Day festival with our parents. I was playing with some of my friends and Aduial when we saw our parents sneaking off together. Needless to say, we both followed them. That was possibly the last thing I remembered.
I was taken on horseback and heard conversing. I could tell I was being gifted to someone by the sugar in the Samhain Queen's voice. It was not until I was taken to the place that would be my home for the next few years of my life that I got to see my 'master'.
Once the cover was removed, I looked through very blurred eyes at my new home. It was a very large, white castle, similar to Beltaine, yet sunnier if that was possible. A kind Elvish man looked down at me in awe and opened my cage door, allowing me to climb up his hand.
It was an eternity in my mind before the King seemed to turn from his business-like self to a merrier, more secretive type. He hid his secret from me well, suddenly announcing we were going on a journey one day. I could tell my his giggling entourage of faeries that this was something special. Little did I know how truly wonderful it would be. A few hours later, as the sun was beginning to melt into the sky, we rode his stallion down to a cottage far from the reaches of his territory, tucked where the world was either early Spring or late Fall. There, waiting for us, was the Unseelie Queen who had snatched me and my Aduial-twin!
During one of our meetings, Aduial-twin reminded me of something mother had spoken of called 'the Tear of Dana'. Aduial and I had found two lovely necklaces, each with a tear-drop shaped pendant. Our motherly mother had been upset when she found us playing with them and had locked them away, but clever Aduial-twin recalled them. It was our next focus. Before our next meeting, we would each get our Court-specific necklace.
I wouldn't try for anything without my twin, but so far, things were going splendidly for the both of us. I looked forward to our next meeting where we could test the true bounds of the magic in when the stones were united. Something interesting we discovered about our stone is that, when it's together, both the Seelie and Unseelie half, not only are Aduial and I able to use strongly strong magicks, but we are also able to conjure a two-legged form like daddy! The magik wavers when we are farly far from each other, and it's impossible for us to transform without the two halves being together. Even when we're together, the magick can only last for so long before we need to turn back to our regular forms and wait for our magicky magick to return. ![]()
Aduial-twin and I worked our hardest during the meeting of the Seelie King and the Unseelie Queen. When we were not together, we practiced minor charms. I was hardly aware of my aging, though I do admit we spent a longly long time in the Faerie Realm. The only way I could tell we were growing was the difference I saw in Aduial-twin whenever we met. Still, we were vigilant.
A while later, the King and Queen seemed to give in finally and were married. Both our collars were removed and it was agreed that the Portal was to be shared between them. Aduial and I were taken to see the portal home for the first time. We tried our best to share as much as we could through our minds so we could find it again when the time was right. A few days later, when everything was in order.
Aara seems more at ease now and smiles at you, saying, "That is all there is to our story. My twinly twin and I have even more of a bond now than ever before, yet things are so differently different." She looks out towards the mountains. "While I still love her so very muchly much, she has changed a great deal. The differences are more apparent between us and I fearly fear she will soon no longer tolerate mother trying to marry us off and father's overprotectiveness. All I can do is tryly try my best to be strongly strong." She looks up at you again. "Thank you so stopping by to talk to me. Perhaps we'll meet again!" And than in the blink of an eye, she's gone.
Aara has changed a deal since she left. While she is still caring, kind and loving, there is an undertone of sadness to her now. She doesn't understand how everyone aged around her and has a deep fear that her family will be ripped apart once more. This change has made her all the more shy, something her father had hoped she would grow out of. It is very hard for her to connect with new people as she used to when she was young, but she highly values any and all friendships she has made and will yet make. As well, her return from the Faerie Realm has increased her knowledge of the Seelie Faerie Court and magicks of the faerie sort. Her twin, Aduial, is still the forefront in her mind.
Aduial is my twiny twin. We were hatched from the very same egg and we can share thoughts and colors. Though we are twins, I look up to her and I daresay I hardly knowly know what I'd do without her. In a way, she is my best friendly friend and the second half of my soul. Queen_Tasmira and Philorre are Aduial-twin and my parents. Mommy is wonderful, very regal and pretty pretty. She saved me twice from water when I fell in as a child and is everything I hope I can be someday. Daddy is funny. He tries to act all tough and harsh, but is very playful and fun. On our return, though, I can see just how much they missed us and dad is quite more protective than he usedly used to be. Leasily is Aduial-twin and my adopted sister. She is oldly older than us by a little bit. Mom and dad found her on our Faerie Isle when she was youngly young and kept her as their own. Mommy was pregnant with us at the time, which is crazily crazy, but I'm so glad to have another sister! Gallatea is my Godmother, a Faerie Healer. Daddy was really tornly torn between her or his best friend, but chose Gal. She takes good carely care of me when she used to watch me, but I hope to be able to see her more now that I'm backly back. Keu is my Grandmother. She's daddy's mother, I don't knowif I've ever metly met my mother's side of the family. *shrugs* Anyway, Keu has always been really nicely nice to me when I've met her. She used to slip me candy and she's not really oldly old like a real grandmother. In fact, I think she's much younger than Orichalum, Xva and some others I've heard Phi talk about. I believe she has a mately mate named Aku, but I haven't rightly met him. I haven't seen her since my return, but I look forward to seeing her. Azamoth is my Aunt and Aduial-twin's Godmother, but I don't know her at all. She seems to favor Aduial-twin and I admit I've always been very shyly shy around her. She has been gone long before when Aduial-twin and I ran away and our kidnapping. In fact, I don't recall the last time I saw her... Mili is my other Aunt, the one I spend more time with. She has a mately mate named Thea and they're so sweetly sweet together! I hope if I find someone, we will be just like them! Mili used to take me on outings when Aduial-twin and I would cause mischief and daddy and mom needed a breakly break from the two of us at once. I met her brother and my other uncle, Xva once. He's very skittish, but kind. I think it's funnily funny that Mili is a longly long Oriental and she's daddy's sister. Daddy says it's because Keuy-Keu adopted Mili like mommy and daddy adopted Leasily. I think that's nicely nice.
Kromix was possibly my second friend ever - first outside of the Clan. I don't fully recall how we met, but we would often wander the woods outside the Draik Clan and have mini adventures. He was quite shy around me at first, but he really warmed up to me and in truth, I feel very safely safe around him. I think I've seen him wandering the Clan lands these days but I need to go findly find him and let him know I've returned. Cielo is one of my childhood playmates. We went to daycare together with Merle and were babysat by Aire, but we also had more playtime. My Aunt Mili and Cielo's... er... mom or something HinoHikaru used to take us on outings. I liked Hikaru, she was so longly long, like Mili, and loved children. I miss those outings. Shivvy-Shiv is very interestingly interesting. When I was youngly young, I used to perch on her nose and cuddle her. Now that I'm older, I'm about the size of her head or a little smaller, but that would be silly for a teenly teen to cuddle her nose now... *giggles and cuddles* But yes, Shivvy-Shiv is an old Drakkon-Dragon who really hates Draiky Draiks. I dunno why she likes me, but she listens to me and tolerates me so who could ask for more? Nox and I met on a cruise ship called the S.S. Faerie Moth. (Will have to add more once the RP's progressed, ^.~) Cora is one of my newer friends, and so tinily tiny! I didn't think she could talk at first, being a Axolotl. She is tinier than me now that I've returned and I made her a nice little home. She's more friend than pet in any sense, don't be silly silly, only... the gifts I can give her are homes because of her size. She's so cute when she talks, her fins wiggle and she bubbles. Her voice is very very cutely cute. Maybe she can help me get over my fear of water... Dare-Dare is another of my newly new friends. He is the son of daddy's friends Truth and Draiken and really sweet. He makes me smile and takes me to see the deep woods near his home. I guess he's around his Godfather or such named Sunokuin lots, but I still get to see him. He asked for a shinyily shiny sword for Christmas so I got him one. Hope his parents don't mindly mind. *flutters*

This was a special gift from HinoHikaru given to Aara on her hatching day. It is said to mature and grow as Aara does.
