| Welcome to Fleurir Péche, a lit//adv. street dog role play guild taking place in a series of apocalyptic events. A colossal meteor has struck the moon with an enormous force, sending it dangerously close to the Earth. The reduced gap between our planet and the moon has caused a number of natural disasters that seem to have no end in sight. Tsunamis ravage the coasts, and earthquakes shake the world into hysteria. Soon enough even more disasters begin to occur, and as more happen, fewer humans and dogs alike survive. Life is just as hard in the city that never sleeps; New York. While the urban population is not directly affected by the natural disasters, the repercussions may be just as worse… Food supplies run dangerously low, and the weather takes a strange new pattern. Only the strong will make it through the days to come. If you have not yet applied for Fleurir Péche, read the rest of the webbie. Once you are ready, fill out the application found at the bottom of the webbie and send it to either, Unime (strayfang), Livvy (liv123max), or Angie (coacoafever_56). |

Hello! Interested in learning a bit more about Fleurir Péche, eh? You may be thinking, "What does Fleurir Péche even mean?" The title is a French phrase meaning "Blossoming Sins." The phrase suites our guild nicely due to the fact that the rough times suddenly brought upon New York City have caused dogs and people to "Blossom Sins" in hopes of their own survival. There could be several other interpretations of the title, and you may find your own fitting. Now when we say we are an 'advanced' literate guild, it means we look for a 'style' of writing as well as correct grammar and punctuation. Posts should have some depth and thought to them, not just simple sentence structures that drone on in a boring fashion. If you were wondering what we defined as advanced; there you have it.
Now for a little more about the creators! The guild was founded by Angie (coacoafever_56), Unime (strayfang), and me (liv123max). The three of us have been in several guilds together in the past, and we all played important roles in them, though Fleurir Péche is the first one our little trio has decided to open ourselves. Although we may have different council ranks, we are all the leaders. The guild took weeks of planning and lots of hard effort, but with much pride we say; "It paid off!" Our guild is one of a kind, and will be quite the role playing experience.

| An Overview | |
|
It seemed their lives changed in an instant. One minute they were hunting, and fighting, and relaxing, just as they always had. The humans were always just in the background, providing them with precious meals, and buzzing around the city like the diligent creatures they were. People rarely stopped to examine the street dogs in great depth. Not that the street dogs wanted to be looked at by humans anyway. But the day the meteor hit the moon changed everything. Suddenly the dogs on the streets grew keenly aware of how the thousands of humans in the city were feeling. They were in panic. The city was tumultuous, and the widespread feeling of it also reached the dogs. The subways flooded, killing thousands. The stores can't get food due to hazardous conditions. The moon controls the tides as you know, causing hundreds of tsunamis all along the coasts. Earthquakes occur, and later on the events only get worse. The city is not directly affected by the shore conditions, though the scare of the meteor is just as strong. Soon humans begin to abandon the city in hopes of seeking more suitable conditions in the country or somewhere more calm like the suburbs. Only the rich can afford to take a flee away from New York. Transportation has also become limited. Dogs are not permitted to leave the city. They take up food, space, and care that could all be going to humans. No, dogs must be left behind. Under no circumstances will animals be allowed more priority than humans. It is a painful choice for many, but they are forced to leave their dear house pets behind. With no one else to turn to, the former house pets must seek help from the packs already accustomed to the rough life on the streets. There are three established. Soon enough under all the chaos and confusion, one group of dogs rises to a frightening power, killing off dogs they deem unfit to live. Their minds are controlled by their leader, who claims she was the one to begin this whole mess, and she is the one who can stop it. Pack dramas arise, and there is a greater competition for the dwindling food supply. Rats thrive off dead bodies of humans and dogs that gradually begin to line the streets, and it's always a risk eating the notorious disease carriers. Below all the new rivalries and dramas, looms the impending threat of the climate… getting worse and worse with each passing day. Only the strong will live to see better days. 1) Be literate. This should be no problem for you, considering you made it into this guild. We even expect more than just having proper grammar and punctuations. This is an advanced guild after all. By now you should be well aware of the meaning of the word 'literate.' 2) No power playing or god modeling. For example; of I wanted my dog to go on a walk with someone else's, don't just make them start walking. (Unless planned ahead) Make your character approach the other person's first, because to suddenly have your character thrown around is not fun, and it's considered power playing. As for god modeling, your dog cannot win a fight by picking up another dog by the neck and throwing him across the street, then escape the fight perfectly unharmed. Things like this are unrealistic and a tad bit ridiculous. Refrain from doing it. 3) Please no odd colors or markings. Your dog may have a simple color if it was once owned by humans, but we would prefer your character does not have any odd accessories given to it by humans. (Ex: A pink dog) "But it was dyed before it was abandoned by the groomers!" Really? 4) Use some form of "ooc" when posting out of character. This is to avoid confusion to as when you are, and are not role playing. "Bic" should be used if you are going back into character directly after posting an out of character post. 5) Ask permission from either, Angie, Livvy, or Unime before making major events happen in the RP. Having your character die suddenly is considered major, and could suddenly interrupt RP. So check first! We will either let you know a good time to have this event happen, or just go ahead and let you do it! 6) Keep it under control when role playing through violence and romance. These two topics are certainly permitted in our guild, and are okay, but if you think it could get your account frozen… then don't post it. 7) Post at least 2 paragraphs when role playing! Again, this shouldn't be a problem for you since you made in the guild, but if you're having a case of writer's block that is so bad, you can't even write 2 paragraphs, then just let it pass. One liners are not permitted by any means!!! 8) Keep the "ooc" posts under control as well! If there's too many, it's hard to catch up on the RP for some people! If it's a really fun conversation, we suggest taking it to the boards! 9) Be active!!! This is a biggie! You came here to RP, right? If you're going to be away for more than a few days, let us know in advance so we don't have to delete you! It's hard to delete perfectly active members that poofed for a while! If you are gone for 2 weeks or more, we have the right to delete you from the guild. It makes our guild look bad to have a bunch of inactive members sitting around. 10) My favorite, have fun!!! Enjoy your time spent at FP each day, and have fun making new friends and role playing! | |
