Charlie's mission is to promote love for all poorly named pets in Neopia! Pets need love, no matter what their name, species, or color. A "poorly" named pet can be just as special and beautiful as the best "well-named" pets out there. There are so many pets in the pound or up for adoption that are never taken in to a forever home simply because of a few underscores or numbers. Charlie wishes to put an end to this to help all his loving Neopets friends find caring and wonderful homes! .

k_____________lloiik: Loika's name has 13 underscores! Owner tiger_iris says "It was the day the Pound opened and I really wanted one more pet. It was between her and another beautifully named grundo but the minute I saw her name I was completely like "Omg she's the ONE!!" And she's always been a brown grundo and I NEVER want to change her.".

Cecilia200: Ceci has had a hard life, having been UFA for a long time with many disappointments. Finally, when owner reiven_zero saw her, she knew right then and there that this beautiful Uni would fit perfectly in the family. "Ceci had a quality that fit right in to my storyline with Norallin and Spire. All the disappointment she'd been through made her a perfect best friend for Nor.".

Project_109_GENX: owner vegeta_goddess_01 says "Project was adopted when I was pound surfing looking for a pet to foster. Her name caught my eye and as I was looking for a foster 'Project' I thought, why not? Why not adopt ol' Project and see if I can pretty her up and find her a new home - I didn't really register that she was a BN pet...I liked her and that was enough for me." .

A good name can't hold a candle to a great character!".

Lriiisss: owner sassygirlygirl3792 says "Larisa (Rissa) was a pet in the pound a few days after it opened. I was scrolling through and saw this absolutely adorable yellow acara. There were other pets, 'better-named' ones, but I took one look at her name and fell in love. She is about halfway through an adventure I'm writing for her. A quick, semi-preview is the fact that Rissa, or rather a character based on her, was adopted and "Named" in a NT story just recently. Hopefully very soon, users can find Larisa's story on her petpage.".

She came into my family well because most of my pets don't have 'good names'. But I don't care! Its about the pet, not the name. Not only is he not well-named, but he's also a male pet with a female name. But I don't care. Even with the option to change gender, I never will. He's perfect, just the way he is.".

I use to be really picky with names but he was in the pound for atleast 4 or 5 hours. I had to adopt him no one was adopting him and he just sat there. She says "Technically mine are poorly named because all three have _943 attached to them. I created them that way because my username has 943. I adopted Zynalia and if I could change her name, I would add _943 to it! It shows that they are my pets and I NEVER plan on getting rid of them!".

I didn't think the names really mattered back then, but I wouldn't trade her for anything. She was zapped disco and is spoiled with NC Mall clothes and is the prettiest pet in Neopia to me!".

ZepherZ1287: also owned by starlite1287 is this handsome Electric Mynci, and she says "ZepherZ1287 the Electric Mynci is another BN pet of mine. He was my first pet ever as a Yellow Zafara. He is the current lab rat but will never be UFA either. I've spent lots of nps training him and ultimately he will be an all powerful Electric Cybunny!".

034971: ladybuglover_01 owns this grundo and says "034971 was sitting all by his lonesome in the pound for some time while I was pound surfing looking for my first pet to adopt out. After bypassing him a few times I actually LOOKED at him, I wasn't a grundo lover but he changed my mind. Look at that face! How could you not love him?! I snagged him up and he's been my account guardian since. He has big plans of being a faerie grundo some day but for now he's content on just being himself and being loved forever by moi! ".

She is my dream pet and no matter what happens she will always be mine. I adopted her from the pound and even though I used to be worried about pet names, I realize now it is the pet that matters not the name.".

How could you not...he has the kindest eyes. He has been a great brother to Nani(she tends to be a bit of a trouble maker) and a great comfort to Nia as she finds her place in the family. We all feel extremely lucky that he was able to come and live with us. Even though he doesn't have the perfect name, he has the perfect soul and that is all that counts. ".
