Welcome guest! After i (0okabel) and itji (my owner) completed neoquest, we decided to do it again in a fun way! Come follow our journey as we take you through the neoquest world, along with the help of the cute plushies and petpets! Placing your mouse over the pictures of the plushies and petpet will give you their names! START

Area 1. Location: Neopia City and its surroundings Monsters: NPCs: Comments: 0okabel: Here we go! Eleus Batrin (who isn't here) is our guide and he suggests training around neopia city. itji: Yeah, so these are some of the monsters we fought. 0okabel: It isn't all of them because some of them aren't in plushie or petpet form. itji: The snow imp, which looks like another version of the fireball doesn't have its own petpet form :( I like the snow imps alot 0okabel: The fire imps are cute too, at least :) itji: Yeah, thats true *tickles the fire imp* fire imp:*burp* 0okabel: Did you hear that? itji: Hear what? 0okabel: *pokes itji* the fire imp! itji: Erm no, anyway guest, next up is Hills of Jub

Area 2. Location: Hills of Jub and the Dank Caves Monsters: Comments: itji: After leveling up to about level 5, we started training in the Hills of Jub. 0okabel: We then entered the Dank Caves at level 7 (Some monsters shown here are found in the Dank Caves) itji: Next up: Dank Caves Area 2. Location: The Dank Caves NPCs: Comments: itji: Yeah, the Dank Caves are pretty tricky, you have to get through a few levels down and maze like tunnels to get to Xantan the Foul. 0okabel: We did Xantan the Foul in at level 14. itji: You know something 0okabel? Xantan the Foul is really really awful but i like sludgy! 0okabel: Hey you telling me that? I was the one that actually fought Xantan the Foul Sludgy: Mua ha ha ha ha ha 0okabel: Erm, i suppose you didn't hear either did you? itji: Hear what? 0okabel: Nevermind *grumbles* itji: Anyway, while in the dank caves, we collected all the tiny gemstones, lodestone, cloth and mirror. 0okabel: They were to upgrade our armour and weapons from Neopia City. itji: After that we head to the Jungle Ruins Area 3. Location: Grarrl Peninsula and the Jungle Ruins Monsters: Comments: itji: Right, here we are at the Jungle Ruins 0okabel: We go straight down to the dungeons first. itji: And train up for the first boss here: Kreai 0okabel: Kreai isn't too bad but Gors is TOUGH. itji: Yeah *shudders* 0okabel: We took Kreai at level 18 and Gors at level 23. itji: And went back up to get the weapons upgrade from Denethrir. 0okabel: See our adventures in the Desert of Roo while getting our defence upgrade. Noil: GRRRR :( Wadjet: Hsss? Noil: Grr Grr Grr Wadjet: Hss. Area 3. Location: The Jungle Ruins Monsters: Comments: itji: We are back in the Jungle Ruins at level 31. 0okabel: Above us are the lizards in the maze towards Rollay. itji: These lizards are quite tough and don't give good exp pts so we generally skip them by training in the Desert of Roo instead. 0okabel: We went to get Rollay, who was easy :) Shock Lizard: Psssst Inferno Lizard: Pssst? Hmmm 0okabel: Hey you guys don't get me in trouble! Frozen Lizard: Mua ha ha ha itji: When we were done, we head to the Techo Caves but take a look at the NPCs in the Jungle Ruins first. Area 3. Location: The Jungle Ruins NPCs: Comments: itji: The NPCs of the jungle ruins 0okabel: From the left, its Denethrir, Tylix and Pomanna. itji: Denethrir is the weapons upgrade and Tylix and Pomanna gives more information about the game. 0okabel: Pomanna tells about an NPC, Korabric that stays high up in the tower itji: We've never been to see him, because its a long way and he doesn't offer any weaponsor defence. 0okabel: Poor guy, i bet he's lonely itji: Next up: The Techo Caves. Area 4. Location: The Great Swamp Monsters: NPCs: Comments: itji: Leirobas is the right most plushie. 0okabel: And he is the more useful NPC here. itji: We usually skip the monsters here because our level is too high when passing by this area to get experience pts from them. 0okabel: Yes, in any case, Leirobas has the best defence item up to this point. itji: Which is why we were hunting in the desert earlier for items. 0okabel: Now we go to the Temple of Roo in the Desert of Roo. Area 5. Location: The Desert of Roo Monsters: Comments: itji: Alright, here is where we got our stuff for Leirobas in Swamp Edge City and the carved oaken staffs for Eric. 0okabel: Yep, and do tramp all over the desert because some of the monsters are usually found in the more extreme sides of the desert itji: Some of the monsters here drop their items very unwillingly, so you just have to keep at it Spyder: *coughs* itji: And so we go to the Great Swamp to see Leirobas Area 5. Location: The Temple of Roo Monsters: Comments: Sand Golem: *clomp clomp clomp* 0okabel: These are the monsters in the upper level of the Temple of Roo itji: Some of the Golems can be found in the desert 0okabel: We fought so many Golems that we are both sick of the sight of them itji: Yeah they aren't very pretty creatures 0okabel: Imagine facing them one after another... the worst thing is that they ALL look the same. itji: *sighs* 0okabel: Next up: Second level of the Temple of Roo Area 5. Location: The Temple of Roo Comments: itji: Now we collect all the keys and gems 0okabel: We leveled up to 31 and then walk all the way back out without challenging the Archmagus of Roo itji: This is because the Archmagus of Roo, or Archie as we like to call him is a really tough boss for us to fight. 0okabel: And we want to level up more before getting back to him. itji: We went to Leirobas to change the gems to the powerful ones and then went to the Jungle Ruins for Rollay. Area 5. Location: The Temple of Roo Monsters: Comments: 0okabel: We are now back for the Archmagus of Roo at level 34 itji: The Archmagus of Roo is really tough for us, he killed us in our first normal and evil games. 0okabel: Which is why for the insane game, we took Archie on 5 levels above him. itji: After fighting him, we have the clouded gem 0okabel: We take the clouded gem to Eric and get the weapons upgrade itji: And we head for the Techo Caves again Archmagus of Roo: You do not see this *waves staff* Area 6. Location: Techo Caves Monsters: Comments: 0okabel: First time here, we leveled up to 34 itji: Got the defence upgrade from Mr Irgo 0okabel: The robe thing is the better defence item to obtain. itji: What i really like is the hatchling drakonids, they are sooooo cute! Look at this: BUT they aren't in plushie form while the big drakonids have plushies. :( 0okabel: In any case, we went back for the Archmagus of Roo Agate Dervish: Are they gone at last? Melatite Dervish: Yeah, i think so. *Gets up* Chrysolite Dervish: Lets go see if Archie can kill them again this time :) Area 6. Location: Techo Caves Monsters: Comments: itji: This is the second time here. We head for Sunny City to get the rusty medalion polished by Gali Yoj 0okabel: We will need it for an easy victory over Faleinn in Kal Panning itji: Yeah, its amazing, you just show her the Keladrion Medallion (which the rusty medallion turns into) and she is defeated! 0okabel: Now we head for the Mountain Ruins itji: We get the final weapons upgrade from the guardians such as the fire guardian shown above. 0okabel: As well as the final defence upgrade from any of the monsters there. itji: Next up: Kal Panning Area 7. Location: Kal Panning Monsters: Comments: 0okabel: The undead monsters at Kal Panning are pretty cute. itji: Too bad none of them are in plushie form :( 0okabel: We showed the Keladrian Medallion to Faelinn and she was immediately defeated! YAY! Faelinn also gave us the keys to Two Rings. itji: I think Faelinn looks better as a ghost somehow :P 0okabel: Yeah, nicer Faelinn: Ha ha ha think you can get me? Watch out! itji: We were now at level 44. 0okabel: Next up: Two Rings Area 8. Location: Two Rings Area (Mountain, Palace, Desert of Frost) Monsters: Comments: itji: These monsters are those just outside Two Rings. 0okabel: I like the chia giants for some strange reason itji: And the kougras all look ultra cool 0okabel: We like this place quite alot :) itji: Heh 0okabel: You know, when we played neoquest on insane, when we got to this point, it was so wierd. itji: I had this feeling of trepidation and also excitement because the gold was so near! 0okabel: And in insane, you really can't leave the two rings mountain once you enter because if you die, you start the game all over again. itji: But back to this game in normal mode. 0okabel: And next up: Inside Two Rings Shadow Kougra: Thats the last of them you'll see Mist Kougra: Yeah Blizzard Kougra: Come on, lets find some better quarry to hunt Area 8. Location: Two Rings Area (Mountain, Palace) Comments: 0okabel: We entered the palace for the spirit healing potions at level 45. itji: And with 5 levels to level up in the palace, 45 to 50, its a long time in the palace. 0okabel: Well, to relieve the boredom in the insane game, we did a palace chia count itji: Guess how many chias we killed in the palace :) 0okabel: Answers are somewhere on this site :) See if you can find it itji: A bit about this final bosses. Above, and second from the right, is Jahbal. He is the final boss in normal. Jahbal: When are they coming? *yawns* Mastermind: Well, you just wait here and kill them so i don't have to do anything :) Xantan Reborn: Oh they must be still shaking those jelly knees on the carpet. Jahbal: Right right, I'll do it. *paces up and down* 0okabel: Mastermind is the final boss for the evil game and he comes out right after you beat jahbal. itji: And for insane, you get Xantan Reborn as well as the final boss. 0okabel: We took 65 moves to get Jahbal in this game at level 50. Neopets: Congratulations, you have beat Neoquest! itji: *throws plushies in the air* 0okabel: *jumps around* itji: *huggles 0okabel* You did it! 0okabel: *huggles itji* Not without you! Jahbal: Look at them getting all mushy... ewww Mastermind: You are supposed to be dead! Jahbal: *lies down* itji: And thats the end! In insane, i fought monsters 4 levels below me, especially the bosses. It is always best to keep healing potions near their max number so you can use them in an emergency.
