LueLueBelle the Healer

Introduction

The snowfall is heavy on this mountain. You're not sure how you got here, you just know that you've been wandering here for a while now, and it's so cold your coat doesn't even seem to be keeping you warm anymore.
In the distance, you think you see a figure. While you're not sure if it is actually there or not, you decide it's best to move towards it. There could be shelter or warmth, even if it is unlikely. You're willing to take that risk right about now.
As you're moving and quickly as you can, the figure also seems to be moving towards you… and not slowly, either. It seems to speed up as you get closer. You start taking a few steps backward, unable to see it because of this blizzard. It keeps coming toward you, though. Then, it leaps.
You feel its weight upon you as you and pushed to the ground. You struggle for a while, trying to free yourself of this mysterious force. You haven't even looked up to see what it is yet when it speaks.
."Still, human!" the voice, obviously feminine, says. "You're only being less convincing to me to let you stand. You're far from home here. I suppose you thought you'd have a nice jaunt up here. There's a reason this mountain range is deserted."
You allow yourself to go still, and the creature relaxes, taking her paws off of you, except for one forepaw, which is keeping you pinned to the ground. You now lookup and see it is a lupess holding you down.
."I didn't know it would snow so badly or I'd be disturbing you. If you'll kindly let me go…" you begin, sounding a bit arrogant, regardless of your intention.
."Let you go? In this storm?" She shakes her head. "If you want to get lost and freeze, be my guest."
She removes her paw and slowly begins to trot away. You stand up and stay still for a moment, weighing your chances. It is then you run after her.
."Wait! I won't make it out of here! You'll help me, won't you?"
."Me?" she asks, turning. "Oh, I suppose. Get up here and hold onto my collar, I'll guide you to my cave."
You run up to her, thanking her. You know notice the satin pink collar around her neck. Puzzled why a wild lupe would wear such a thing, you take a moment to look at it before grabbing on. She doesn't seem to notice, and begins to walk at a brisk pace towards her cave.
It is a little while before you make it to the cave. When you reach it, she walks in calmly. You stumble in after her.
."Sit down. You'd be silly to try and go anywhere in this storm. Do something to entertain yourself," she says.
."I'd love to learn about you," you say. "After all, you did save my life."
."All in a day's work for a healer," she says. "Fine, if you want to know about me, I'll tell you."

My story

."About me… I guess I should begin with why I am here, shouldn't I? It all really goes back to my birth, you see. I was the only surviving puppy in my litter. My mother and father were very protective of me as such. It was the responsibility of them to raise me until I was one month old. Then I would receive my pack name and responsibilities.
."On my one month birthday, I went forward to receive my name and pack tokens from the leader. My mother's name was LueLue, so that would officially be the first part of my name. The name my parents wanted me to receive, and had not been shy about telling everyone, was Belle. The pack alpha was one who would grant the parent's wishes, so that was the second part of my name. As was pack tradition, the second part of my name would be the one I was called by.
."Another pack tradition was for female pups to receive a feather on some type of cord the pack crafters had fashioned. I have no clue how they were able to do such a thing, but they were. The leader gave me mine, and I stepped down, behind my mother. I never realized that my father hadn't been at the ceremony until then. Another pup went up to get their name, and that was when it all turned bad.
."The beta lupe howled something I could not hear, for my mother's tail was curled around my ears in praise at the time. All I know is after that, the whole pack was obeying him, even the leader. Frightened, I ran.
."I ran until sundown. Raced down that mountain side and a little ways up another mountain side, and then found an icy cave to sleep in.
."For a few years I wandered on my own, learning about the world. It was on my travels I acquired my collar, for when humans saw it they new to leave me alone. I also acquired my herb pouch."
You look over in the corner to see a sand-colored bag slumped against the wall.
."I learned while traveling the uses of herbs in healing," she continues. "I was able to find uses for many herbs, mostly on self experimentation. It's worked, though. And only through that did I discover my magical ability to heal. Though I dislike using it, as it brings negative consequences.
."I never found my pack in my travels. I think that is just as well. I found this mountain, which is close to the one they used to live on. I never think of them, though. I try not to.
."But enough of this. I'm sure you've had quite enough of it. There must be something else I can tell you about…"

My Family

. "I know nothing more of my real family then I have already said. I suspect my father is still out there, somwhere. I don't know about my mother or my pack, though. It's better for me if I don't think about it..."

Love

Zeke
."Zeke, I love him so much! I would rather be forbidden from meeting any other lupe than being forbidden from seeing him. It took me a long time to realize it... And even when I did, you cannot possibly imagine the fear coursing through me as I told him. But I love him, and he loves me. I never want to be separated from him again..."

My Friends

."My friends.. I suppose I might have a few..."

Spirit_Aurora ."Spirit... he's such a kind soul. He is my first friend. I hope he and I can be friends for a very long time."

Bonh."Although I havn't known him long, I think he and I could turn out to be great friends. He got lost on my mountain, passed out form the cold. I helped him back to my cave and gave him some poppy to help him rest and thyme for the cold. Then the East invaded. Apparnetly, he is a general for the West and the East want him dead. I showed him the caverns of my cave and we hid from them. Oh, did I forget to mention he's blind? But sometimes it is the blind who can see the most clearly. I'm not sure what happened to him, if the East got him or what, but he's gone now. Gone to roam with the big pack in the sky. I'll miss you, my friend..."

Soul_Theif
."Theif I havn't known long. He stumbled into my cave one day in the midst of a storm. Then night fell and he turned into this other lupe, Ebony, whom tried to steal my soul. Theif is kind... I hope we can be friends for a long while. But Ebony I wish would just go away... I think he loves me, he keeps saying it's so, but I'm wary... can he really?"

."Nanook's a very kind lupe. And she's great to go exploring with! She's very observant of details, and is very intelligent. I hope to be friends with her for a good, long time."

My Follower

."I call my follower, a small island-looking dog, Rover. He and his own pet, Wiggles, occasionally come to see me or I stumble across them."

Healing Powers

."With the healing powers I poseses, I have some draw-backs. For example, after healing, I am generally tired for a while. I can permannently cure almost anything. Chronic things like blindness and deafness I cannot cure. I cannot teach others how to heal. But I can heal others with two ways: the first, magic, and the second is herbs. They are genarlly dried and are kept in my special pouch that I carry around with me. I like to use thyme to stop hypothermia, and poppy seeds to stop pain and calm. Herbs like mint can be used for bellyache, and ginger can be used for many purposes."

**Please note I(Bonnie) made everything up for what these herbs do. Don't expect ot swim in cold water and run outside when it's below freezing and have a strand of dried thyme keep hypothermia away.

The snow has let up, and she sees this and pushes you out of the cave with her nose.
."Go on, human. Spread your wings and fly or whatever you do." She says. You look around the terrrain, and when you look back at the lupess, she is gone. But, a small little object remain where she once was. You decide its time to leave, before she comes back and kills you. But why not take this magic patch to return?
