Story

Apocolyptic smiled to himself as he admired the beautiful diamond ring he had 'found'. Why thank-you madam he said to the skeleton as he filled the grave back in. You've just fed me for... he paused as his deep red eyes scanned his prize. ...About a month I'd say.
The wolf galloped off into the night; the silver moonlight making his fur shine.

Clever, charming, quiet, witty and stylish. Although he made his living from being a thief and a grave robber, Apocolyptic still had an element of class about him. Constantly on the run, he had learnt how to remain unnoticed and 'fade into the background' of whatever situation he found himself in. Leading a nomadic life, Apocolyptic travelled from town to town; place to place; surviving off what he made from his 'finds'.

However, he had an alternative motive for what he did...

Crash! Clang! Hey! Guess what I found! called out a voice from inside a rubbish bin. The head of a snow white wolf emerged with a slice of pizza in her mouth. Her blue eyes sparkled with delight as she clambered out of the bin. Apocolyptic greedily started to eat as his little sister, Afflicktion, sat back and polished her necklace which had a ying and yang pendant on it. Hey! We all gotta eat! Save some for me! she growled at him. Apocolyptic froze instantly and his ears twitched; listening intently. Hide! he hissed as he dived into a nearby cardboard box. Someone is coming!

Through the soft drone of city life, Afflicktion heard nothing and decided to finish off the pizza. Flik!! Apocolyptic said in a coarse whisper. Relax. Everything's fine Flik replied to the black and white wolf.

A dark, shadowy, figure appeared and walked down the alleyway to where Afflicktion was eating, rather contently. Hey there! Are you lost and hungry? said a deep voice. Apocolyptic immediately didn't trust him. My name is Gwindlen the voice continued. I'm a scientist. Would you like to come with me? I've got a warm house and plenty of food. The starving wolf immediately took up the offer as she walked closer to the man. He laughed an evil laugh as he picked her up and took her away. That was the last time Apocolyptic saw his sister.

Apocolyptic sat under a tree examining his crescent moon necklace. He and his sister had been given a necklace each at a young age. Leaving the pendant alone, he picked up the diamond ring he stole earlier and trotted off. I'll find you one day, Flik...
