First Glance: 9/10. The page looks really good - its color scheme really draws you in. The banner is really cool, too, even though it's not made by you. The only thing about the layout that I don't like is that you've put all your SOTM buttons at the top. I know that there are some SOTM that only have on button for you to choose from, but if there are others, you should always choose one that matches your site layout best. The bright-yellow buttons don't match that well, but if they're the only ones they have, it's okay.
Spelling 4/5. You misspelled "affiliates" in this sentence: *After copying the correct form, please choose which contact header are you going to use? Affiliares, or are you Getting Listed??
Grammar: 1/5. You really need to work on your grammar, I'm afraid. Your entire first paragraph is a mess. Let's do it this way: the italics are your words, the plain words in the (parentheses) are what they should say.
Times Square has a major blackout!! What do we do?! A mysterious man comes your way and gives you a one way ticket to a place called Secret Observer. You go on the train, and here you are at Secret Observer.

Salutations! Welcome to Secret Observer, my name is Pip and I will be your observer around here. This is a directory site, that has everything you need from review sites to ranking sites. I hope you enjoy the site! (:

Kill the Lights, is inspired by Kill the Lights, by SRA! It's lights from last layout has been killed and now the darkness hovers all over Times Square.

*Note: never use the words "we got" anywhere. It makes you sound like a hillbilly, or some other hick from the back woods. Try saying "we received." It sounds better.
I could probably find more if I looked through your updates, but I'm letting you off easy.
Neatness: 10/10. Everything seems to have its own place on the page. You even categorize the sites with a key! Asterisks mean the site is your, and a ◄ means that you highly recommend that site. Great job!
Colors: 9/10. The colors all work well together, but there's one thing that bothers me (I'm a little OCD, you see): the colors on your navigation links. You see the little block that's on the left of all of your navigation links? Well, it's gray when you don't hover over it. When you do hover over it, the block barely changes color. You should try changing the hover-over color to black. That would work better, I think. Otherwise, everything looks great!
Music: 10/10. Great!
Age of Site: 7/10. You say your site has been up for two months, yet your counter was started in March (three months ago) and your updates only start on May 1. What happened to the month of April, when your site supposedly started? Where are the April updates? Where is the counter that started in April? Whatever happened to them?
Quality: --Doesn't apply to directories. Your score will be out of 70 points--
Updated List: 6/10. You say your site started two months ago (which would be April), but your updates only start on May 1. What happened to the April updates? There are also several gaps of about... 3-5 days. I mean, my own directory has gaps of weeks, but you seem to keep up with your directory better than I do with mine.
Other Problems: Besides the unexplained April-May gap, everything else seems to be in order. Except your grammar. Fix that.
Overall Score: 46/70. That's a 65%. Not bad! Just fix your grammatical errors, and figure out what happened to your April updates. You have a good site - keep working on it!

Inu-Graphics
Reviewed on June 17, 2009

First Glance: 5/10. The main picture is nice and mysterious, but it's hard to figure out the name of the site. "Inu-Graphics" is small and nearly impossible to see in the moon. You should make it center-stage in the moon, and a lot bigger, otherwise, who's to know what your site is called? The red also hurts my eyes - why not have a nice, soft blue instead of a glaring red?
Spelling 5/5. I couldn't find any spelling mistakes.
Grammar: 1/5. While you certainly don't have a lot of text on the page, you have plenty of opportunities to make grammatical errors - and you take them. Let's go over them. The words in italics are your words; the words beneath those in (parentheses) are how they should be corrected. Let's begin.

(Now, if you're ever on the Wall of Shame, you'll be in a lot of trouble with The Neopets Team. You might even be put on the Anime Protection List! If you ever need help with graphics, Neomail me.)
The main problem that you have is that you aren't putting spaces between the punctuation and the beginning of the next sentence. This leads to things looking very ugly, and it makes things hard to read (especially on a blinding-red layout).
Neatness: 4/10. You have no navigation whatsoever on the pages (navigation is important; it helps people get around), and having the text areas to the right of the icons makes things confusing. Here, you can use this code for your icons (it's a table code; replace my words with your own. Repeat the code for every three icons):
Be sure to put your images in the right place, and the text areas in the right place. Only delete the words. Leave all the other codings in place. This will help organize your icons better. If you want another row of tables, simply copy the code again and put your images in again. You can only do three icons per table code. You can also use this code for your link-back buttons.
Your updated list is also backwards; you should have the newest updates at the top, and the oldest updates at the bottom. That way, people don't have to scroll continuously to figure out what's new with your site.
You need your link-back buttons up before you have your reviews!! Reviews can be put in the same box as the affiliates; you can put them underneath the affiliates. Simply delete the box containing the reviews now, and move them under the affies, with the heading "Reviews," of course.
Colors: 2/10. The red is very, very hard on the eyes. You have a pretty blue background, and a pretty shades-of-blue image, so why in Neopia do you have red in your layout at all? It should be blue - a dark blue, with the writing white. That would look much better (and would be much easier on your visitors!). The name of the site blends in to the moon, so it looks like it's hardly there at all. Make is a strong color - something that will stand out on the blue/white of the moon, but won't hurt eyes.
Music: 10/10. Great! Music on petpages (in my opinion) is very annoying.
Age of Site: 4/10. There is no counter, and there's not even a note saying which day you started the site on! You don't have that many graphics (and some of those graphics are just wallpapers you found on Google!), but you have a lot of affiliates. It's good that you're advertising your site, but you need to get listed on some directories as well! The more you put your site out there, the more visitors will come. And you need a counter! Search "Boingdragon Counters" on Google, & you'll find a link to a site that has counters for your petpage. A counter counts how many people visit your petpage (make sure you put the date you started the counter next to the counter!).
Quality: 3/10. One of the icons (the Edward Elric one) is just a wallpaper that you shrunk down to almost-icon size, and there's another icon that's more pixelly than it needs to be. The "Something has Happened!" link-back buttons have pixelly images, and are too big for the box they are contained in. Some of the banners are pixelly (pixelly = bad), and the credit that you've put on them is TOO BIG. You can put your name in the lower-right-hand corner, if you wish, but in a nice pixel font, size ten, and make it black. Honestly, I don't think you should be too worried with people stealing your banners. They're not all that good. (Harsh, but honest. I'm sorry, but honesty is my policy.)
You should really just get rid of the "Something has Happened" banners, because they won't do anything for you. They're too pixelly, and the one about the InuYasha "human" avatar doesn't make any sense at all!
There's something that's bugging me, too. If you're so good at the icons, why can't you transfer the same thing over to the banners? The icons are amazing, but the banners, to be completely honest, look like a two-year-old did them. Now, if you were so accomplished with the icons, you can do the same thing with the banners. The banners are just really, really big icons. I'm really starting to wonder whether you just found the icons on Google, too.
If you can't make the graphics yourself (with brushes, different fonts, & such), then don't steal wallpapers from search engines & claim them as "banners." Go find a nice, free program (I like GIMP; I even have a tutorial for it), download it, & use that to make your images! Don't infringe on copyrights!
Updated List: 5/10. Okay. You have some updates - but they're going in the WRONG DIRECTION! Updates should run from newest to oldest, not from oldest to newest! The newest updates are on the top; that makes people see that you're still ALIVE, and you're UPDATING the site with NEW THINGS. If they see a REALLY OLD date at the top of the site's updates, they're going to think you haven't updated since that day and won't come back.
Other Problems: Besides the banners-that-are-not-banners, the fishy icons, the blinding-red background, the main header-banner, and the HUGE link-back "SHH" buttons, the only other thing that I can think of is organizing your text areas.
Overall Score: 39/80. That's a 47%. Really, for your first graphics site, that's not a bad score at all. There are a lot of things that you need to fix, I'm not going to lie to you. But graphic sites take a lot of time and hard work. Mine has been up for almost a year, and I'm still not satisfied with it. I'm constantly making changes (changing the layout, updating the page, adding new graphics, collecting affies & reviewers, etc.) and trying to improve it. You have some potential - your InuYasha icons are really good. You just need to apply that to everything else in your site. Keep going - you have a long road ahead of you, & it's mostly uphill. But if you keep working at it, you'll come out on top. Keep going!

It'll help you a LOT!

Connie's Fake Avs
Reviewed on June 16, 2009
Reviewed in Internet Explorer
First Glance: 7/10. It's a nice layout (not done by you, but it's nice). There's just one thing missing - what happened to the background? The white of the background makes the page look plain, boring, and dull. While the glitter heading takes the attention slightly away from the white, it's still not enough. Get a nice blue background. That'll match better, and will make the page look much prettier.
Spelling 1/5. I caught a lot of spelling mistakes. First of all, "wich," (correction: which), which is in your introductory paragraph. In the second paragraph, "request," (correction: requests) is missing the 's' that makes it plural. In your rules section, "atleast" (correction: at least) has been combined into one word. In your FAQ, the third question, "tem" (correction: them). Underneath the Gallery Avatar section, "annonymus" (correction: anonymous) is misspelled. Underneath the Final Word section, you say "I haven't seens them" (correction: I haven't seen them). In the Link Me section, you use the horrible chatspeak term "u" (correction: you). Don't use chatspeak! If you're not sure how to spell a word, use an online dictionary.
Grammar: 1/5. There are way too many grammatical mistakes for me to put in this review, I'm afraid. The one that I saw most often was that you forgot a word, or you didn't capitalize the word "I." Try copying-and-pasting your coding into Microsoft Word or another program with a spellchecker placed in it. The program will also check your grammar.
Neatness: 7/10. I think you should put your FAQ section at the end of your page, before your affiliates. The misc. section could also go at the end. If people have to scroll a lot (if they don't like using the navigation bar for some weird reason) just to get to your first graphic, that's not a good sign. Try rearranging the page a little bit.
Colors: 8/10. The blues match (of course they do; the person who made your layout has a great sense of color coordination), but there's a lot of white. What did you do with the background? Try putting a light blue as the background - or replacing the original background!
Music: 10/10. No music! Yay! That's great! Usually people who use Internet Explorer a lot like to put music on their pages - against the wishes of most of Neopia. Great job on keeping your page music-free!
Age of Site: 5/10. You have no "Site Started" date anywhere on your page. That makes it hard to judge when you started your site, so I can't judge accurately on the amount of graphics you have. You have very few updates (when you add a new avatar, you should update!), and only three reviews. You aren't listed on any directories (that I can see). The more you get your site out there, the more visitors you'll have!
Quality: 8/10. The avatars are really nice, but they all have the same basic animation. Try mixing things up a bit! Variety is the spice of life! Otherwise, they're very nice!
Updated List: 2/10. You've been open for at least seven months (December - June), and you only have *counts* three updates. What happened to the other ones? Updates tell visitors (and reviewers) what you are doing with your site. When did you add all those new avatars? Update the site!
Other Problems: The only real problems (that I can see) are your spelling and grammar mistakes, and the scanty updates. Fix those, and you'll be on your way to a fantastic site!
Overall Score: 49/80. That's a 61%. Not bad; it's better than a 50%! Keep working on your site; you have great potential. You just have to tap into it.
