Whoo!
Hey everyone I'm BACK!!! I missed this site so much that I wanted to bring it back for the summer when more people would be active. So basically we are leaving up from t he last challenge & we will have a final challenge. I am contacting the contestants now... I only need 2 contestants or more for this to work so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Anyways so we will have a brand new Decode that will feature:
-Season 2: All challenges will have to do with Music
-Mini challenges: Featuring raising money for charity & SOTM
-Brand new layout made by the winner of Season 1
-And Decode will be off-neo so we can have more space to manage the growing site!
The final challenge is coming up! Get ready for season 2 & the brand new layout! Plus much more challenges!
The Challenges
• Challenge 1- The first challenge of the site! Contestants have to make a link back button for Decode!• Challenge 2- The challenge where contestants had to make a 100x100 icon of Ashley Greene!
• Challenge 3- In this challenge, contestants had to make a banner for either Team Edward or Team Jacob! It was interesting to see what team each one was on...
• Challenge 4-
• Challenge 5- THE FINAL CHALLENGE!

Challenges | Challenge 1 | ResultsThe first contestant I want to announce received the most votes from the public. She also won the judges over. One of the judges said, "You have one of my favorites. I love the red going through decode. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Good job. " So who is that contestant? It's……. MARY!!! Congratulations Mary, you have received the most votes so your entry will be placed on the Wall of Fame!!!
The second contestant I am going to announce was only off by 2 votes from being tied to Mary. "I absolutely loved your button. How it looks like Haley is saying Decode is marvelous. Excellent job." Now, the second contestant staying in the game is……. LULUZ!!!!! Congratulations Luluz, you are staying in the game. Keep up the excellent work.
The next contestant I am going to call is…. TAYLOR!!! Taylor, the judges loved your image, but they felt that you could have added a little more to the text. One judge said, "I like the picture you used for you button base. And the decode. I would have done a little something more eye catching with the vote now. But other then that great job." Congratulations Taylor, you can take your place over there with Mary & Luluz.
This contestant had an interesting button. I thought the design & layout was unique & creative. This person gets two thumbs up from me & this lucky lady is…… ROSE!!! Congratulations Rose, you are going to round 2.
The next person I am going to call is…. KARLEE!!! Here is what the judges had to say, "First let me start by saying great job. I love your button. Its bright and its fun. Its very creative. I love what you did with the text. You did a great job. I cant say there isn't one thing I don't like. Great job." Haha, after hearing all the great jobs, you have definitely made an impression with the judges.
5 girls down only 4 more to go. Who will stay & who will go? The next girl I will call is…. LILA!!! Come on down girl!!! Let me just say, I was surprised to find that someone did something so unique that it is absolutely wonderful!!! I loved how you scrambled the words. It was absolutely wonderful! Congrats. You can stand over there with the rest of the girls.
We are now down to the bottom 3. Here we go…. the next person I am going to call is…… SHELBY!!! Congratulations you are going to the next round, but first lets hear some comments from the judges. "I like how the vote now just jumps at you but Its very hard for me to see the Decode. I'm not a fan of the green around the edges. I would take a different approach next time. But overall you did a good job. Like I said it would be perfect without the border. It really takes away from the rest of the green writing. " What the judges are worried about is that you are not showing us your full potential. Next week try a little better. I have faith in you. Go join the other girls.
We are now down to the bottom 2. Let's hear a few quotes about each of you. Courtney, here is what the judges said about you. "Honestly, your button doesn't seem intriguing enough for me to want to visit the site." & "I like your button but the colors are a little dark for me. I would have liked to see a little more creativity." Now let's hear about Karlie, "It actually has a picture that makes sense with the decode theme. The image is a little blurry though." & "I like your button. Vote and the end of decode are a bit hard to see. Like I said before good job, but I wouldn't write over her face it makes things a little bit harder to see. " So who stays & who goes…. The judges have decided & Courtney, this is the end for you. I'm sorry. Karlie, step up please. The judges still feel like you need to express more in your images & we are giving you another chance, just show us next week you deserve to be in the game. Courtney, thanks for playing. We will miss you.

Now, the second contestant staying in the game is……. KARLEE!!!!! Congratulations Karlee, you are staying in the game. Keep up the excellent work.
The next contestant I am going to call is…. LULUZ!!! Luluz, the judges loved your image, & how it was simple & clean. One judge said, "There is only one word that describes this button. Amazing! Luluz adds her own personality, creativity, & uniqueness to everything she makes. That's why I think she has the best Twilight graphics site on Neopets." Congratulations Luluz, you can take your place over there with Mary & Karlee.

I think she could have added more to it." & "I liked Lila's banner, but I think she could have added more to it." Now let's hear about Karlee, "Although her banner isn't my favorite, it shows a lot of skill and time put in it." & "I think Karlee blended her images well & I liked how she used texture to the image." So who stays & who goes…. The judges have decided & think Lila should go home, BUT we have an announcement to make. Since people have been disqualified for not turning everything in on time, I have decided to let everyone stay this week to keep the competition going longer. That means, Lila you are still in the game so make sure you prove to everyone next week what you can really do. Also, since Mary contacted me with her excuse & I think she will bring more competition in the game again, I decided to let her come back. So, what will happen next week? Stay tuned to find out what will happen in Challenge 4!!!

Challenges | Challenge 4Deadline: Tuesday, October the 20th @ 5:00 pm NST
1) Make a userlookup for me to display on my account
2) You must use the pictures located at the link below. You do not have to use all of them, but at least put 1 or 2 in your image.
3) I would like to have an about me section or at least someplace to write info

1) Make a new site layout for Decode
2) You must use the images I give you.
3) The site layout MUST have TWO columns on it.
4) Make sure you have the text "Decode" written on the layout.
5) The layout HAS to have the color PURPLE in it.
VOTING IS CLOSED! Results should be announced this week.
