INSTRUCTIONS!

First of all you will need the following things:

Paper towels for drying your brushes

paint brushes for painting

A wooden or styrofoam craft egg for painting

A glass of clean water for cleaning your brushes

I recomend water color paint. For an Ice draik egg you will need light blue and white paint, Darigan you will need Purple and Dark Purple, Blue egg you will need blue and light blue paint, Yellow egg you will need white and yellow paint, Green egg you will need light green and green paint, red you will need red and light red paint. You can make the light colors by adding white paint to your base color.

For the purpose of this tutorial I will be making a normal Blue Draik egg.

First step, make sure you have a clean working space

Then gather up all your materials. I will be using a styrofoam egg, and because I dont want to get my hands dirty I will be inserting a sewing pin into the top of the egg to hold while I paint it.

Make sure you have the right colors for the egg you have decided to make, and just a tip: Dont be shy create your own personal egg! You dont have to use the colors on neopets you are more than welcome to create your own design!

Now we are ready to start painting!
First you put your base coat on, you may need several coats of paint to make it look dark enough. But paint it to your own tastes! Remember if you are going to paint more than one coat you need to let each coat dry before applying the next one.

After you have done your base coat(s) and the color is as dark as you like it then you will need to add your Draik Egg spots!. You need to make the lighter color for this by mixing 2parts white to 1 part base. You dont need much for this step so please dont waste paint by squirting out big globs! Then paint several spots in different areas and of different sizes until the egg suits you!

Add a coat of glossy paint if you wish or put your prescious little egg in a nest and you're finished!

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial, alternitively if you were looking for the kind of Draik Egg that will get you a Draik Pet then head on over to the Mystery Island Trading Post and search for Draik Egg or try your luck at the Merifoods and see if you can restock one!

I hope you enjoyed my little page! please be sure and pass it around!!!
