Hey there everyone! Aren't you proud? I'm blogging!!

Life has been so extremely hectic..I just don't have time to constantly update a site during the school year anymore.

But I'll try my best, and I'll have lots more time this summer!

Speaking of summer..I'm so excited for it to get here! (Who isn't?) We're already having some pretty warm weather where I live..so I'm very happy.

Actually, this summer isn't exactly going to be a time to be lazy. I've got SO many plans! Trips, work, friends, etc, etc, etc. xDD My only sort of free month will be July..so I can just chill out then.

I know most people like to waste their whole summer lying around, (*cough*SARAH*coughcough*) but me? I like to feel like I've gotten something accomplished! And believe me, I won't have any trouble finding something to do this summer.

These tutorials will work for most versions of PS. They can be slightly edited to fit other programs as well.

Advanced Picture Tutorial One.

I am starting with this picture..

First let's sharpen the image once. Then create a new layer and fill it with the color #81fdbf. Set this layer on exclusion at 28%.

Now we are going to do basically the same thing two more times. This changes the overall color and appearance of the image...

Create a new layer and fill it with #1843fd. Set this layer on multiply at 8%. Now make one more layer and fill it with the color #ffd78a, then set it on screen at 24%.

Now duplicate the base layer twice and drag it to the top. Set the first copy on overlay at 100%, and the second at overlay on 60%.

Now comes the fun part where we pixelate the image.

Go to Filter - Pixelate - Mosaic. Set the square size on 88.

Tada! You're done! Now add text, a border, whatever you want to make it even prettier.
