11/1/09 - Updates Coming

Happy November! Hope you guys had a good Halloween! Updates are coming to the banner, banner coding and current shops in the mall!

09/20/09 - Minor Banner update

Long time without news updates, partly because Neopets had a coding meltdown that wouldn't allow for updates. No worries, the mall is still alive and well if you were worried. There's been some minor banner updates and I've finally reset the monthly upgrades. That's it, you guys are awesome!

08/22/09 - Layout

A huge thanks to abrar1646 for coding the basis for our new mall page! Next task: New top banner.

08/20/09 - Yay!

2 more rows added to the banner, some adjustments to the page and I'm going to compose a Neomail to send out now.

08/19/09 - ...

Making. Progress. Bit. By. Bit. We're getting there! What you can do right now: Talk with other members and me on the daily board posted to the right.

08/16/09 - Progress

Almost a week later and we have progress coming along slowly but surely! I'd say we're out of the early development stages and into the mid-development stages. We have a couple potential new members and a couple smaller shops that I'm watching to see if they're active. I've edited the page a bit and am going to actually add data to the member list section. Also get ready for a new updated banner soon.

08/10/09 - Banner and NB

Our banner's been updated and codified and ready to be put in your shops. The next step I want to take in getting members is a small NB ad.

08/08/09 - Forum

The forum is created! *hopes this idea doesn't crash and burn* The banner has also been broken up into pieces, now all that's left is coding and adding some images! I think it's about time to start actually "formally" recruiting other members.

08/07/09 - Creation

And the page is up! Still much to be added... including a to-do list. But anyways, today I slogged through tons of HTML and CSS tidbits I should have already known and cobbled together the central mall page which you're looking at now, yay! Now... off to add more to the page and work with the graphics and then actually tell everybody about this page, because as of now I am rambling to myself without any other purpose...oh well.



Welcome to Hidden Cove! We are a growing mall that values friendly, eager, communicative members!

Our goal: To build a friendly, unique mall through member communication and interaction.

Mall Rules

  1. 90% of the items in your shop must be related to your category. Non-categorical items must NOT be overpriced!
  2. You must be able to stock your shop at least once every 2 days.
  3. You must have the mall banner in your shop
  4. Inform me of anything that'll interfere with your stocking, like going on vacation.
  5. Give me advance notice before you leave the mall
  6. If you've read the rules include the world "snazzy" in your application.
  7. When we start Notice Board ads, pay your fees on time!
  8. NEW! When we start Notice Board ads (by December at the latest), you must have obtained a forum account by then. Ask me for more information.

    How to Join

     If you want to be a part of Hidden Cove please send the following information to trewq144. If the category you would prefer is already taken, apply anyways, and we will discuss options.

    What category[s] are you willing to stock:
    How often have you upgraded your shop?
    Have you read and agreed to the Mall Rules?
    Other:

    Items of note:

    1. When you join you must have a MINIMUM of 1 full page of stock. That is 80 unique items. You must also be planning to add more items, if necessary.
    2. If you are under size 100 you must have plans to expand.
    3. We look for members who have goals of upgrading to market size.

    4. Acquire a Neomallers account and ask me about our forum!

    When NB ads start everyone will be required to put money into their NB account. Then money will be deducted from the account weekly to pay for the mall's NB ad. Once we start NB ads, I will tell you how much we are going to be paying weekly.
