My Story

Hi there. My name is DiscoDanca. If you haven't noticed just by looking at me, I am a baby aisha. I can't say I ever truly wanted to be a baby, buuuuuut it does have its good points. So, I guess, we'll start from the moment I was adopted...

On a chilly day in the Month of Celebrating, the Pink Warrior brought me home to her cute house in Neopia Central. It was a moderately sized house with two floors; I thought it was very cute. I was a blue aisha, naive and happy. I was very excited to be living with the Pink Warrior, she seemed like a very nice person. And I was right, she is really nice! She brought me to play Kacheek Seek, go shopping, and even more fun stuff! I really liked it when she bought me my favorite Neonip Critter... :)

It was a sunny day in the Month of Eating one year when the Pink Warrior returned home with a blue kacheek. The first thing I noticed about him was that he was very....hyper. He was none other than Kattymara, my brother! He was (and still is today) kind, happy, hyper, and a little dim-witted. I instantly liked my new brother, and I even let him play with *GASP* my favorite Aisha Board Game!

One of my fondest memories of Katty and I was when we went to Astrovilla together. There was a HUGE indoor pool there- it was so fun to swim in! We even played video games in the game room- I won, of course. Katty just simply isn't as good as me when it comes to video games. I remember we accidentally spilled Neocola all over a janitor there... He wasn't very happy!

I was a christmas aisha and Katty was a brown moehog when the Pink Warrior brought Skitty home. She was a shy little yellow aisha who didn't talk much. I think that had to do with her dark past, but eventually she warmed up to us.

Skitty, Katty, and I have changed a lot over the years! Skitty has gone from yellow to glowing, I have gone from blue to christmas to invisible to sketch to baby, and Katty started as a blue kacheek and somehow ended up a shoyru! Crazy, right?

My family and me have had many crazy adventures throughout the years. We love eachother very much and are inseparable!

Family

Katty

Katty was the first neopet that moved in with me after I was created by The Pink Warrior. I was just a blue aisha then, and Katty was a blue kacheek. About Katty....hmmm....well, he's definetly goofy. He's clutzy, trips over things, and complains when he doesn't get his way. However, he's pretty protective of me when he senses danger and he's nice and friendly.

Skitty

Skitty is very awesome. When I got really, really sick one time, Skitty and her friend Mistocles set out to Lutari Island to find out the cure. Furthermore, Skitty discovered a haunting past of how she used to be a great beast who terrorized all. She seems a little dark and troubled at times, but it's only because she has trouble fitting in. Lucky for her, she has some great friends who always stick by her side.

Caeseri

Caeseri is the second to youngest sister (with me as the youngest, of course) in our family. She is martial artist who is currently training in the dojo in our home village, Shenkuu! She's really good at martial arts, so don't mess with her! She also has a best friend, Iezen, who lives right next door. In all, Caeseri is kind, tough, and a good person in general.

Carmen

This is my bestest friend in the whole world, Carmen! We were best friends since we were both first created by our owners! We are such best friends that we even both painted ourselves Christmas together! When I was invisible, Carmen was still by my side. Even now that I am a baby, Carmen still likes to hang out with me (even if her brother makes fun of her for it. I want to be painted disco someday, maybe I won't be as embarrassing then.

Bowser

This is Bowser, one of my best friends! Despite the fact that he's a grarrl, he is REALLY nice and smart! He's not like the stereotypical dumb and mean grarrls. Me and him used to hang out a lot, I liked him so much and he liked me so much. It was perfect until Boochi zapped me.... Now Bowser just gets all sad when he sees me. :-( It's sad, really. And now he's been holding a grudge against this regular bruce named Boochi... I keep trying to tell him that's the wrong Boochi, but he won't listen!

Discodanca in the Battledome (Short Story!)

And in the right corner, fighting for the title of the champion, is DISCODANCA!" The announcer shouted. Loud cheering filled the Battledome as the baby aisha entered into the ring. Her bright red headband shimmered under the ring lights; her aisha chucks were held firmly in her mouth.

After being zapped by the terrible infant Boochi, Discodanca's siblings told her that she would probably never be able to battle again. She applied for competitions all across Neopia, but they all rejected her. She lost hope that she would ever be able to battle again. One cold morning while shopping with her brother in Neopia Central, she came upon an advertisement for the Battledome. The poster said that all Neopets were welcome to join, so Discodanca applied. Much to her enjoyment, she was accepted. She trained very hard and battled her way to the top. Today, she was going to face the current champion. Today, she was going to become champion.

Her determined eyes glared at her opponent, Jackson the darigan grarrl. She could see the overconfidence in his eyes; she knew that he did not think much of her. She was about to prove him completely wrong.

Don't worry, little girl." The grarrl cooed in a sarcastic tone. "I'll try not to hurt you too much." As the announcer started the fight, Jackson charged right for Discodanca. In the nick of time, the talented baby aisha executed a beautiful backflip; simultaneously, she whacked the grarrl with her aisha chucks multiple times.

The grarrl clenched his fists. His eyes burned with fury and frustration. "I was taking it easy on you before. But now, you're going to get it!" He cried out as he swung his night katana at Discodanca. She leaned her head back so that katana barely missed, then proceeded to hit Jackson with her weapon. He fell backwards onto the ground. The crowd cheered loudly; their support was with the baby neopet!

That's it!" Jackson shouted as stood himself up. "This is going to be over soon, and I am going to emerge as the victor!" Discodanca scoffed at his overconfidence. She charged at him and attacked him with her aisha pounce. He tried to retaliate, but the frustrated grarrl lost his balance and fell backwards. This was when Discodanca delivered the final strike. As she retreated, the grarrl collapsed in defeat.

I cannot believe you defeated me..." Jackson whispered in a frail tone. "I was the champion; I was the best..."

Discodanca was not overconfident, but she was proud of her achievement. She welcomed all the applause the crowd was supplying her with. She stood over the grarrl and gazed at him. She did not laugh at him, nor did she make fun of him. The only words that left the aisha's mouth were, "Never underestimate a baby."
