Hey everyone ^^ Haha, I have to stop this habit of updating only four times a year XD Well, we did it- we entered Lorellii & Mitsuki's Cookie Kitchen into the site spotlight, and it won!!!! We were, naturally, overjoyed. xD Thanks to everyone for their support! I don't think I'm going to add a site award to this page, since you can already apply for one on Lorellii's. Some changes made are links to new places, changes in text, a few changes in the story, one or two new link trades, and more. ^^
Thank you to Annie, who made the wonderful layout!

I can't seem to share him with my brother and sisters, because he's special, but anything else besides him, Shiroyuki, Susuki, and my diary- I'm willing to share. ^_^ He was my first companion, and at that time, my best...and now, I have three- Shiroyuki, my Polarchuck, Susuki, my Baby Aisha Doll, and Milo. Milo is precious to me because he is my partner in my 'adventures', and he can survive just about anything."

She's usually the 'damsel in distress' in my adventures, and it's up to Milo and me to rescue her! Her hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, and making pictures for banners or links, or just for fun. She's turning 13 this August and wants to be an English professor and a writer when she grows up. Hello, guest! I'm glad you've come to read my book! I've been waiting for someone so...*flips through the dictionary, searching for a compliment-like word*...praiseworthy as you to visit- or rather, read this! What an honor! Well, since you're here, I'll get started on the story...

| Chapter 1: -But with the help of many, realized her difference- | ||

When Franny won 10,000 Neopoints from a scratchcard, she bought all of my siblings and me a toy. But she bought me two things- a green ashia doll, which I still hold to this day and adoringly named Milo, and a diary. She told me that the diary was to help me find my talent. It seemed radiant as I received it with both hands...
And as soon as I found a pen, I hugged Franny and began a writing frenzy. My pen was off in that diary like a racecar on a track. I wrote about my "adventures" with Milo, my dreams- everything. I poured my soul into that diary. And that was exactly when I realized what made me so different- so special- my writing.
 My best story, I suppose, was called "Up in the stars", a story about Milo and me traveling to space to see the Space Faerie. It was entered in a competition in the Catacombs- and it won. I was THRILLED.

| Chapter 2: -And struggled- | ||

I wrote whenever I could, listening to music for reassurance and looking to my imagination for inspiration. But soon- I grew tired of the same old thing. Sure, I won contests and such- but that wasn't enough. All of that was local. I wanted everyone- THE WORLD- to see my imagination. I just didn't know HOW.
 Weeks passed. I still could not think of what I wanted to do. I snuggled up with Milo, my stuffed Aisha, at night for comfort, trying to think of what I wanted. Nothing came to my mind. I spent all my free time at my notebook or "meditating" on my bed. Nothing could inspire me. I had hit dead end. | ||
| Chapter 3:-Found her dream- | ||

The next day, I was at my notebook again, contemplating away, thinking about how many Neopets I knew had made their dreams come true, and my eyes landed on Milo, then on my diary, then back to Milo again. His little plastic eyes seemed to gleam at the diary and look back at me again and say,
"There's your answer, right there." I looked at it. And it hit me. A book! "A BOOK!!!!!" I shouted, jumping up and down in joy in my room.
I didn't hesitate to tell Franny what I wanted. I was just unsure whether she'd let me do it or not; it would be time consuming and expensive. Not to mention- it would take a lot of patience, and neither Franny or I had much of it. ^_^ But to my surprise, she said, "Great! That's a fantastic idea, Aonatsu! Let's do it." | ||
| Chapter 4:-Was rejected- | ||

Franny wanted to hurry into publishing it as much as I did, but first, we actually had to have a story to publish. I told the rest of my family about it and they were supportive and approved of the idea, so they all pitched in to help. Lorellii played her flute on plays and shows at the park for Neopoints, Aramante made about three plushies a day and sold those and her hand made birthday cards, Teka ran in races, and smartartist0814 went to the games while I worked at the stories. Because my stories were usually short, I decided to write four or five and put them together in one book.
Within a month, I was done with my stories and we had collected about 40,000 Neopoints for the publishing and the rest was saved in our bank account, and we sent in the stories and the application to publish a book. About three weeks later, a letter came from the publishing company. I tore open the letter eagerly, expecting to see a 'Congratulations, we are going to publish your stories!', but instead, I saw a big, fat, red, "Sorry, your stories weren't judged entertaining enough for our Neopian readers."
 I was so disappointed. My family and I had worked and worked so hard...Everyone groaned at the letter. "All that work for nothing!" I said, tearing the letter up and throwing it to the ground. I ran to my room, slammed the door, and threw myself onto my bed, red with anger. I know now that I was overreacting, but it was a great disappointment to me, guest...My dreams were shattered. Or so I thought. |

| Chapter 5: -But rose to face the challenge once more...and turned it into a reality. | ||

Franny came in later and told me that it wasn't over yet. I could try again. I never really thought of this, and I cheered up. Franny left me alone to write another story, and this time, it would cost more, because I knew that this story was going to be a long one. I didn't want to use money out of our bank account, however, so the whole family went back to work again. It took me about two months to work on this story. Before I sent it, I read it to my family. They all said it was good, but I wasn't sure if they were just saying that to be nice or meaning it. I would find out soon enough...I sent in the application, my story, and 60,000 Neopoints.

| Epilogue: The End | ||
 Wow, you finished reading that already? I'm impressed, guest! Well~ whenever you feel like you need a good book to read...you know where to turn to! ^_^ This is my second book, and it's my autobiography- do you like it? Franny came up with the title-
"A is for Aonatsu". I'll probably write more books later, but for now...this is it. ^_^

Aonatsu is a yellow Aisha who lives with her owner, Smartartist0814 [a.k.a. Franny], two younger sisters (Aramante the Cybunny and Lorellii the Baby Kougra) and an older brother, (Smartcutiekacheek [a.k.a. Teka] the Poogle) the oldest of the three. Oh- and you can't forget about the Petpets! Aonatsu owns a Polarchuck which she named Shiroyuki, meaning 'White Snow' in Japanese, Aramante owns a Pink Alkenore which she named Sakura, meaning 'Cherry Blossom' in Japanese, Lorellii owns a White Ona which she named Mitsuki, which means 'Beautiful Moon' in Japanese, and Teka owns a Faellie named Asayume which means 'Morning Dream'. Aonatsu writes short stories weekly and reads them to younger Neopets at the park on Sundays. She is planning on writing another book sometime soon, but hasn't decided what to write about yet. She plans on entering the Site Spotlight with this book later on. ^^

From the day I was born, I knew I was meant to do something special. I had this fire, this passion in me- I just didn't know what to do with it yet. When I was tiny, I had the wildest imagination- well- imaginable. When Franny took me shopping, I would crawl under the tables, pretending I was an explorer, searching the ruins of Maraqua. Every lollipop I received instantly turned into a microphone. My bicycle was a racecar. Our car was my personal limo. Franny adored my imagination, but she, too, didn't know what to do with it. As I grew older, I realized that my siblings- all three of them, even my younger sister, had special talents. I didn't have anything. I felt left out and I wanted to find my talent. So I experimented.
Teka, my older brother, suggested sports, so I tried sports. Right after a soccer ball ended up smacking me in the face, I quit. Aramante, my younger sister, suggested making plushies for other people, gardening, making cards. I didn't know how to sew, gardening wasn't my thing, and making cards took patience, of which I have none whatsoever- I declined. Lorellii even suggested music, so I took up piano and flute lessons. I quit after a month. I couldn't handle it- it was so complicated and it didn't come to me naturally. And I hated sitting still for so long. (From Franny- I like flute and piano, but Aonatsu doesn't ^^) So, I searched some more...
This was my difference, this was what made me so special! It was then that I began to get interested in different types of literature and began to look at different pieces of books and newspaper clippings for inspiration. Thanks to my new interest in the Neopian Times, I found a 'How to win Site Spotlight' article, by one of Franny's now bestest friends ever, Annie [a.k.a. Twinfairy]. Smartartist0814 didn't know her back then, but now, they're really good friends. The article was so inspiring and it mentioned Annie's pet, Aendie, who won site spotlight with her Candie Shoppe. I decided it then and there- I just HAD to visit. I visited two days later and stepped into Neopia's cutest sweetshop ever. Aendie was the sweetest Zafara I'd ever met- and a Rainbow one. Franny contacted Annie right after seeing the amazing Candie Shoppe that had won site spotlight, and after getting to know each other and becoming friends, she helped make this book possible.
Though, every once in awhile, I came across interesting stories or articles to read, and I scribbled down the methods they had used to do this. They didn't help until much later, but they did end up helping partially. I came across a particular article that won a contest in Faerieland that I liked. Here's an excerpt:
It took a lot of patience- you see, we sent the story into a different publishing company, and they got more applications than the previous one, so it took about a month and a half to get back to us. When the letter arrived, I told myself to not get my hopes too high, but I couldn't help myself. I opened the letter and read it- and it said my story was accepted! I was so happy. That story was a longer version of "Up in the Stars", and Milo was a real Aisha in that story. I sold quite a lot of those books...but most of the buyers were children. ^_^
