Welcome to the Side! official guild website! :)
Side! is a private guild for a very close group of Neopians! This guild consists of a motley crew: avatar collectors, RSers and resellers, (a) screenier(s).. and we're always trying to help one another improve their accounts! We're all friendly people willing to chat, hang out, and help out, whether it's an avatar or just some friendly advice. ;D It's a guild for neopians of all interests, and everyone is welcome!
Side offers a number of things, including a guild library, pharmacy, seasonal events, activities, gifts, avatar lending, adoption agency.. the list goes on!

Requirements. le gasp.
Like most private guilds, our guild has a few requirements. However, since we realize that not everyone is an avatar collector, a BDer, or anything else, we have different blocks of requirements. Our requirements are high due to the fact that we aspire to fill our guild with neopia's brightest, friendliest, and well-experienced! We only make slight exceptions, and only if you are mature, literate, active, and have something to offer to our guild. :)

210+ avatars
2 side bar themes
5 trophies
2 painted pets
At least 2 avatars that cost more than 100k (ex. adam, meowclops, chokato..)
+Must meet 4 requirements for invitation+
Battledomer Block
HP+Str+Def= 175&up
(meaning all these stats of your pet put together= 175 :D)

Rankings
Now here comes the realization of why our guild is called Side. ;) Here are the rankings in order of lowest to highest, and the requirements for each. :)
Sort Of in Side-- This is the lowest rank, the one you start out as when you join. There are no requirements, but it's fairly easy to get to the next ranking. You don't want to be "sort of" in Side forever, do you? :O
Benefits: Possible avatar lending.
Jumping in Side--300 guild posts + 2,500 NP in donations + have been in the guild for more than a week
Congratz.. you're jumping, now. ;D
Benefits: Eligible for all incentives (guild library, guild pharmacy, guild weaponry, etc.) except for the adoption agency, and some avatar items.
Laughing in Side-- 500 guild posts + 3000 NP in donations(not including your first 2,500 NP) + recruited at least one member + active, has proven themself to the guild
Benefits: Eligible for all in the previous category, including adoption agency, some avatar items, and some weapons.
Always in Side-- 850+ guild posts + + hosting guild activity or has a guild job= a plus + recruited at least 3 members
Benefits: Eligible for all in the previous category, including adoption agency, all avatar items, and all weapons.
Respected in Side-- 1500 guild posts + hosting activities/active in guild jobs= a plus + 3 written referrals from other guild members/council members
This rank is also for sub council and honorary members, which are long time trusted members who for one reason or another cannot be on council, and help out from time to time.
Benefits: Basically everything. ;) Also allowed to carry out activities and assist the council in other matters.

--Please do not say, "1 want 2 jo1n ur gu1ld!11! pwn!!1" We want an application that can be read clearly, with correct grammar and spelling. ;D Any applications like this will be rejected.
--It would help if you actually apply to one of the requirement blocks. XD

Q. Who are these people, and what do they do?
Simple. Sub Councillers assist the council in activities relating to the guild. Sub Councilers will be given admin priveledges, but their only job is to delete double posts or inappropriate messages, host activities, and have guild jobs.
Keep in mind, everything must be approved by the Guild Consenter/Owner, vaish (vaishni91)!
Sub councillers should be easy to get along with, friendly, understanding, and most importantly, active! :O Also, it would help to have some HTMl skills, if you're planning on hosting an activity through your pet page, and they must contribute helpful ideas to the guild.
Election dates will be posted by the council. When elections are open, you may send your applications to stargirl5357, and from there the most worthy applicants (or all the applicants) will be put on to the guild poll to be voted for by the guild members. Each member can vote only once.. no voting for yourself, now! :O
APPLICATION FORMAT:

(answer the following questions)
1.) What ideas do you have/what are you willing to do for the guild?
2.) Are you active, and how often do you check the guild board?
3.) Are you easy to get along with, and are you responsible enough to be on sub council?
4.) Why you think you should be on sub council?
5.) Anything else extra about yourself that may be helpful to the sub council! :D This part is important, as well. ;)

Guild Points
What are guild points? Guild points are what you get for doing certain things, like winning a game or entering something for the in Side Scoop! You can use these points in order to receive prizes from the guild.
1 point=300 neopoints worth of prizes!
Soo.. for example: If you had 40 guild points, 40 times 300= 12,000, meaning you can redeemn all 40 points for an item worth approximately 12,000 neopoints! Just let any council member know when you would like to redeem your points. :)

The in Side Scoop
GUILD POINT ALERT:
Lucky you, you get one guild point per article/story/artwork you send in! :D You are allowed to send in as many articles/artwork/etc. as you like, but not all will get in if we get too many entries from everyone. ;)
snivellus1024 and _pikapoo_ run the in Side Scoop, the guild's monthly magazine! :) Clever name, eh? Every month, the council collects and creates a number of articles, artwork, and other tidbits from the members to put in this snazzy magazine.
Any of our members can submit things to the 'Scoop! Although this only applies to members who've been in the guild for at least a week. ;)
You may enter articles on neopia, stories, poems, guides, facts, and even artwork! Almost all entries get into the 'Scoop, but we require that you submit things that have good quality, not just something you threw together in 10 seconds. ;)
Feel free to send your artwork to snivellus1024, and any other articles, guides, facts, and tips to either snivellus1024 or _pikapoo_. The title of your neomail must be "The inSide Scoop". :)
