Welcome to EKoN Adoptions where you may well find your dream pet. My name is Moonbeam, and I aid my mother in running EKoN Adoptions. Our aim is to find forever-homes for as many pets as possible. Mother decided to dedicate our agency to her guild, EKoN! Therefore we changed the name, and hope to encourage other members to zap and rehome pets. We'll make it a project! Please feel free to look through and visit the pets we have up for adoption. Also if you would like to have your pet listed in EKoN Adoptions, neomail fairyqueenhoneymouth with the pet(s) you'd like listed and your requirements. ^-^
Please do not harass the owners of the pets up for adoption. Don't neomail them about pets that they don't have up for adoption, and if the owner says "no" that is the final answer. Those who cannot accept a polite "no" with good grace will not be allowed to adopt any pets from this agency. We hope it doesn't come to something like that.
Pound Transfers: (As opposed to safe-transfers through the transfer system) are still extremely risky and should the owner and potential owner agree to a pound-transfer the pet is at risk to be lost in the pound. Please exercise caution during such transfers.
Pet Trades: Will not be listed in this agency. Pets in this agency are up for adoption only unles otherwise specified by the owner.
Not Being Listed: Krawks, Draiks, and Lutaris. Lutaris cannot be pounded or transferred. Krawks and Draiks will be added to a special section if they are put up for adoption.
EKoNian Listed: Any pet marked "EKoNian Listed" is up for adoption like any of the other pets listed (unless specified by owner). We merely mark EKoNian listed pets so we know how many pets are listed by our own members. It's for our benefit, not your detriment, we promise! ^-^

Basic Tips for Applicants
|
|
Applying for a pet can be a daunting process, particularly when faced with a dream pet that is inevitably difficult to obtain in the first place. So, for the sakes (and sanity) of both applicants and owners, we'd like to offer a few basic tips for applicants to take to heart. ^-^
1) All pets have a name and a gender…use them, and spell them correctly!
2) Why do you want the pet? What are your plans? Be creative, it boosts your chances. ^-^
3) We'd like to know what account our pets are going to, and if you have side accounts we'd like to know. ^-^
4) Chatspeak is unwelcome in an application. It's just not nice. ^_~
5) Mass-applying is incredibly unwelcome. "I'd like to adopt your pets" does not encourage confidence in you. Please focus on applying for one pet at a time.
6) Begging and bribing will get you reported and banned from the agency. Demanding will also get you banned.
7) If you intend to adopt to trade for another pet, let the current owner know. It's not nice to repound without warning.
8) Limited Edition and most painted pets are unavailable for players under four months to adopt, so make sure you know your account age and what type of pets you're allowed to adopt before you apply for one.
