Stepping over the wrecked boat that used to be your transportation, you slowly walk across the narrow, sandy shore that separated the river from the small woodland you were suddenly wrecked upon.
Why am I here? You wonder out loud as you enter into the woodland, branches and leaves wavering slightly in the small wind. The orange sun was slowly lowering itself closer towards the skyline. As you're walking through this forest, you notice several paths leading in many directions, and it is soon clear that there is someone who lives here.
Glancing around the area, there are vast varieties of trees, ponds, springs, and massive rocks that could have very well been walls.
Hi there! A sudden voice from behind you startles you. Turning around, you see a canine emerge from behind the brambles onto the path. I'm Teddy! He pauses, I heard you walking over the path... he added.
You stare at the creature for a moment. His white fur is slightly ruffled and small wings of a light green, light yellow, and reddish hue fold over his back. His eyes are a milky green and do not seem to look straight at you. Um... You say nervously, still wondering how you just happened to come off track and wreck your row-boat onto that beach. My name is Ted...I live here, he smiles happily at you, still not looking straight into your eyes.
Who are you? You finally ask, You live here?. The canine chuckles and replies, Heh...yes, I've told you. I'm Teddy and this is my home.

Well, I'm glad you like it here. Ted smiles as you lean against a small tree, sitting quietly on the soft ground. I will tell you, this is my little paradise... he shuffled his paws on the dirt, flicking his tail contentedly.

He pauses, still smiling slightly. Well, it's a long story, if you want to hear it...but I can shorten it too. There was a nervous tone in his voice, but he continued sending off his friendly, goofy smile.

I was not always like this. Over the course of my life I changed. It was not a good change either; to be honest I wish I was different.
It all started when I was a kid. An ignorant child. I had just made my way into this forest, swimming most of the way after our ship sank. All of this was simply an accident, you see.
