Basics
Name: Vulkanwave- he mostly goes by Vee or Vee-Dawg, occasionally just V
Species: Lutari, duh!
Age: I really don't want to be too specific here. It's calculated in Lutari years anyway... I'll just say he's not a baby, but not yet the usual teeny-roleplaying age.
Personality: Young, playful, friendly (that sounds really cheesy, but he is a bit too friendly), vivacious, suffers ADHD.
Caretaker (Owner), Artist: barkingzebu, who goes by either "Barking" or "Zebu" or, if you're one of those people who likes to get personal, Maya. Just so you know, she's 17.
Custom Adoptables: Closed.
Art Requests: Not really. If I see someone asking whose pet intrigues me, I'll do an art request of my own accord.
Art Trades: If I initiate them (meaning I like your art and ask you), then yes. If you think you have really good art that I'd like, and like my art enough, then feel free to ask.
Roleplay: I occasionally spontaneously roleplay around a bit with Vee on the BC boards, but generally no. I'm too lazy.

This was my first-ever picture of Vulkanwave! It won silver in the BC starting June 30, 2006. Woah. In a matter of a few months I have improved soooo much!!!
Story
You look into the pool and see…nothing. But wait- suddenly you see a big red dot in the depths, and as you gaze it becomes larger and larger. All of a sudden the surface breaks, and hundreds of tiny, clear water droplets shower upon you, shimmering in the bright light.
Hi there!" says an odd creature. You can see its fiery red coat teeming with colorful, extravagant feathers, an you wonder what on earth could have possessed this creature to put them there. But you have to admit that they are a rather nice touch, and complement its redness well.
Erm… what are you?" you utter, still slightly shocked by the creature's sudden appearance.
Why, I'm Vulkanwave," he replies with a good natured grin, "Welcome, I guess you have found your way to my site."
Your site?" you inquire, slightly puzzled.
Yes, my site. This is my little pool. Well, not exactly little, but it adds a nice touch, doesn't it? This is where I live, together with Onomatopoeia_-"
Onoma…what?" you exclaim.
Onomatopoeia… my Ghoti. We live here together. Isn't it a nice place?"
Um…yes," you reply. "So why do you wear those feathers?"
Um..what? Oh! These!" (he glances at his tail; he hardly seems to realize they are there) "I've always worn them. That's what Lutaris do… Or did a long time ago. Nowadays, it's not so common. Now my brother Wave-"
You have a brother?"
Yes, his name is Wavebreezerider. He actually wears armor. He used to be terribly good, but one day he disappeared, and when he came back… he was different. He still loves me, in fact very much, but somehow he's changed… When we were little- well, I was always more little than he- we used to frisk around in the pool a lot. He liked to travel. I've never been anywhere before… Well, not until Maya took us to see all of Neopia, but Wave, he's been everywhere!"
Do you have any more family?" you ask (somehow the thought of two brothers living alone seems a bit sad to you).
No, not really. I never saw my parents. It's just me and Wave. And then there's Maya. She cares for us a bit, brings us food and toys. But we live alone. Well, I live pretty much alone, because Wave still travels a lot. Sometimes I play with Dragon. His name is actually Dragonwindhunter, and he much prefers his full name, but I always call him Dragon to tease him. He is very proud of his name. He used to be the strongest white Lupe around- with gleaming fur. But one day Boochie came and zapped him Baby… all he does now is mope. And then there's Storm. She is very nice, but she changes her form a lot, so you never know if some odd creature is Storm. She used to have a brother when she was little- Buckbreeze. He is now a Jetsam, lost somewhere out there in the world…"
Vulkanwave stands there and waves his tail around, slighlty bored. Then he perks his ears, apparently listening to some far off noise which you cannot detect. With a bound, he dashes to the waters edge, gracefully diving into the deep pool, without making a splash.
You are at loss for what to do. Should you go? As you start turning to go, however, Vulkanwave's head breaches the water once again. He is grinning over both ears, as though something in the deeps is greatly amusing him.
I have to go now," he says, "but if you want you can explore my pool a bit more. I have great little adoptables that Maya made for other Lutaris, and a huge collection of pics of me, done by other friendly people! Be sure to come back soon, though!"
