Snowflakes of every shape and size fall gently from the gray sky above. Twirling and tumbling in the soft wind as they descend to the forest below. Nestled in the harsh climate of ice capped mountains, the forest is full of pine and fir trees, forever blanketed in a layer of soft snow. It ends at the edge of a cliff, the steep drop the backing of a warmly lit village. It is at this edge a feline lies, body spread out over a large flat stone. She has been there for some time now, her white coat and green stripes that matched the world around her, covered in a dusting of snow. A brightly colored scarf of lime green is wrapped around her neck, pinned together with a glass holly pin. Small red berries with green leafs also sit next to her ear and wrapped around the tip of her tail. But it her emerald eyes, alive and shinning as they watch the colorful village below that catch attention. Never were eyes so full of joy, innocence and hope without a reason to be. Sensing another her thoughts break and she turns to you, eyes lighting up even more if possible. Scrambling to her feet she bounces over to you, graceful and clumsy at the same time. Hi! My name is Starbeam! Who are you? she asks, eager to have a companion. But before the sound of your reply can be heard, she laughs, a sweet giggle and she speaks again, Come on, I'll show you around. I can tell we're going to be great friends! Excited, she bounces away into the forest, glancing back, beckoning you to follow, which it seems, you have no other choice but to do.

Mauro
Mauro is a wonderful kougra I found in the forest of Terror mountain. Her past was harsh and she is often sad, but she is one of the greatest friends I could have. She took me flying, it is so much fun! We have had many adventures and I hope to have many more with her!

Smoke
I stumbled across him in a magical willow forest. He must stay there because of something that happened in his painful past. Smoke can be quite mean at points, but there is a kind side to him, even if he doesn't think there is. He was a sell claw, one who fights for gold. Still, he is a friend to me and that is what truly matters.
