Snow; the cold, white and crystallized droplets of water that fall to the earth as gentle streams of individually created substances. No two are alike and yet they all look the same from far away. The masses surround you at all sides, ever increasing as a bland blanket of sheets and sheets of frozen rain that formed layers upon the ground that seemed never to end. For miles you survey this spectacle as you walk along on a lonely and often windy path that is quite common on the lower summits of Terror Mountain. Having just been abandoned by the young, boisterous son of the Phoenix on your way following a tour guide, you now find yourself flying solo again in this untamed wilderness where anything could happen. Why, the Snowwager could be prowling about! Or you might encounter a snowstorm that pop up unexpectedly around this time of day. Here you were, vulnerable to the elements that this mighty "Terror" provided with no way of defense but the solitary heavily-lined jacket that you had worn today. And, despite this, you are still freezing cold.
Why did I ever leave the group...
you ask yourself, sarcastically as you turn your eyes up to the sky, the light of the sun shimmering brightly upon the field of puffy mounds stretched out at all sides. Heaving another sigh, you continue on your journey, looking for any signs at all for proof of civilization, hoping that, before nightfall, you could eventually make it back to the cabin you had left from.

The day wanes on, the sun starting to sink closer and closer to the pale horizon as you still haven't found any safe haven. Nothing…Just snow, snow and more snow! To add to your torture, you suddenly feel a wet sensation on your nose, so sharp and cold that you fall back a bit, gazing up with surprise to see the softly floating flakes descending to the ground.
Great! Just Great! More problems to add...
you shout, balling your hands into fists while you stand there, stalk-like, in the powder. Suddenly, as you look out before you, you notice something small and white. Now, while this wasn't rare in the place you found yourself in now, there was something different about this mound….It was moving! Seconds passed as the thing came closer and closer to you, defined features of a head and pair of ears now visible from what was just a white mass prior. Hope growing, you start to walk to it. Perhaps it was a Neopet that could help you out of this place? But, as you approach, the small, fluffy form of a wild Snowbunny was all that your hoping had gotten you. Slumping slightly, you look down to the ground, the blue eyes of the Snowbunny blinking back at yours, not seeming to be afraid at all.
Well that's So much better,
you add, huffing out of the side of your mouth.
What am I going to do with a Snowbunny?

Nothing, I hope.
suddenly comes a voice from behind you. Light and feminine, the voice carries like trills on the wind, falling lightly upon your ears as the snowflakes themselves. Turning around, you shift your gaze away from the Snowbunny, finally, to see the form of an average-sized lupen, her tail raised high above her, ears perked forward with a cheerful look reflected on her features. Her ears, tail and legs all seemed to how a glowing aura that surrounded them, pulsating at various intervals and casting an even brighter look on her pure white fur. She blended in so well with the snow that her features were hardly detectable, though she was easily seen as a beautiful, relatively young creature. Glowing eyes looked from behind a gentle angled head, a kind smile forming on her muzzle as she exchanged glances with you, staring directly into your surprised eyes. Yet, despite the unexpected visitor's presence, you feel a warm that surrounds you...something was emanating from the lupe that told you that everything was going to be alright and there was nothing to fear. Slowly the other approaches, her petite paws gracing the earth with steady and flowing strides, a trail of glittering specks of light following and filling each new hole she created in the snow with her paw-prints. She continued until she was a few feet from the Snowbunny, her head bending down while her pelt, an unweaving network of finely placed fur, bunched up around her neck, causing an almost cute look about her encompassed face. She cooed to the Snowbunny, ears falling contently to her head before her eyes turned back up to you. Her smile grew ever wider.
Oh, I'm sorry to be so rude...I am Phradie, though most just call me Radie.
she stated, a sudden collection of light flashing from her sides before it dimmed...What had this features extending from her been? Wings?
I was just wandering around when I noticed you from afar...If I could assume, you're are lost, are you not?
she asked, easily, her head still bent down to the Snowbunny, who was transfixed by the vixen before it.
You continue to stare, taking in the bright female for a few more seconds before shaking your head of the initial shock.
Oh! Umm...Hello there, Phradie. I'm guest...,
you answer quickly, continuing onwards after,
Yeah, I seem to have gotten lost from my tour group. I was just going around Terror Mountain when I got...Side-tracked."

The female chuckles lightly, hinting the somewhat implying tone in your voice before she lifts her head back up, tail swinging delicately at her haunches. Slowly, she lifts her eyes to the west, nostrils flaring as her ears perked forwards.
Well, I wouldn't mind leading the way, if you wish…I know my way around Terror Mountain fairly well since I started to dwell here.
she answered, allowing her head to tilt back to you, looking with anticipation to your brightening face.

Ecstatic with the idea that you could finally leave, you lift your arms away from your side, walking the few paces it took to reach the other. A smile present in your eyes, you nod your head, a sigh of relief following.
Thank you so much, Phradie. You don't know how much I would appreciate that!

Phradie again laughed, her sweet voice tickling your ears like a melody.
It is no problem at all...I'm happy to help in anyway that I can.
she replied, turning her body back to the Snowbunny, who, while you had been conversing, was now sniffing curiously at your shoes. She looked with a delighted gaze before she flicked her tail behind her, briskly prancing up from the snow to dart a few paces ahead to the west. The Snowbunny, if on cue, bounded away after her, disinterested in your shoes, and hopped across the piles of snow with surprising ease.
Come now! We can't be all day…If we are to get back to the cabin before nightfall, we need to start moving.
she called back to you, dancing in place while flurries of snow and light blended together, making a brilliant display upon the surface of the snow. Blinking, you start up after her, jogging to initially catch up before the female slows to a crawl, walking slowly through the snow so as not to loose you, though still moving quickly.
You really are a life-saver, Phradie.
you state, now walking alongside her, though you were still curious as to how she found you out here if she was merely wandering…? As you open your mouth to speak, she interrupts, lightly, looking over to you.
I would guess that you want to know a little more about why I was out here on my own….Right? Well, I'll tell you on one condition.

Once again astounded by the fact that she knew what you were thinking, you nod your head, willing to listen to her "demands". It was the least you could do for all she was doing for you...

Powers: She, of course, has the ability to control the aura of light that resonates around her, she can create a weak forcefield and "projectiles" from stars (an ability she was taught through an rp), she is incrediably agile in the air and fairly quick on her feet as well. If things get very dire, she can fade into light itself and become nearly "untouchable

She looks to you with a smile as her ears twitch about.
Would you bother if I told you a little about my life? It isn't very long I assure you...I can't remember much of it..
She asks, in cheerful voice. You smile and nod, egar to listen. Seeing your agreement she seems to yipp happily and then continues on with her story.
I don't remember hardly any of my early life..besides a very warm feeling. I can't really explain what the feeling was..but it just felt light, and pure. It had a claming effect on me..My earlist memory is when I was about 2 years old. Then, I met another wolf named Sakura, and her brother Phoenix. They were both wonderful wolven that looked and stayed with me all the time. I traveled with them everywhere, metting other wolves along the way. So, as time passed, many other lupes joined our little group, and we became bold enough to be a pack. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by so many other friends.

One day, Aries, the alphess of our pack was overtaken by a spirit and started to attack the others. I tried to stop her, and tried to reach her, but nothing would to through. So, she pounced on me, ripping my chest, but not quite my heart. I tried to fight back, though I loathe fighting, but in the end I couldn't get her. She just wouldn't stop, not until I was dead. Then, something happened. It got really really bright around me, even I, a guardian of light, couldn't see. Then, I was gone.

When I awoke, I was in a large field, dappled with light from a tree above me. I looked around, all I could see was a beautiful, white fea. She was definatly older then me, but her age didn't hinder her looks at all. She approched me, I was still in shock, just watching her from the ground. She bowed to me, her eyes, like mine, were made of light.

My child...I have summoned you, for it is today that your true power will be found...
She said to me.
What do you mean?
You, Phradie, are the guardian of light. You are the essence, the spirit of light that has been passed on from each generation of guardain. From now on, you will be able to munipulate light, in anyway imaginible. I was the past spirit, and now I reliqunish my powers to you..

But, before I could speak another word, the scene around me grew brighter, and brighter. Until, I was back at the pack lands. I stood up, looking around as I saw Aries had come back to normal, and no one was really hurt. I was so happy that they were ok.

I looked about, trying to find my "sister", Oceana. I spotted her, resting nearby, as if there had been a long battle. I trotted over, going near her, but, as I tried to tackle her, I just passed right through her. What? Why couldn't I touch her.
Oceana!
I called, and Oceana's ears perked up.

Who's there?
She said.
At least she can here me.~
I thought as I looked to her. It was obvious that I couldn't be seen. I snorted, looking to my body. It was made of pure light. I sighed, looking to the sky, the sun was soon to set, but it hadn't yet. Which probably ment that I couldn't really be seen yet.
Are you still there?
She asked again.
Yes! It's me! Phradie! I don't know what has happened..but I think..that I am the light spirit. I don't know how to change back to my normal form.
I explained. Luckly, another wolf in the pack, Star, was a shapeshifter, so she knew a special incantation that would revert me back. Oceana procedded to get start, and as the sun set, my light had returned to normal.

But wait a minute..Who was that other light wolf? Why did you come back as a light spirit?
You ask, looking down to Phradie, still walking at a meger pace. Radie looked up to you and smiled, flicking her tassle slightly as her ears twitched.
Who knows...
She replied, looking forward again. You smile, for some reason, even though she didn't answer your question. Her smile just gave you such reassurance in this cold, dark night.

I have many wonderful friends that I would love to tell you about!

*blushes*This is Sha Gojyo, he is a very sweet lupe..though most don't think so. I just know that there is some..how shal I say this, "good" in him. But, I don't care what others think about him, to me he is a very special, loyal, friend.

Hakkai....He-He sadly passed on just recently. I don't know what was going on, but I had sensed something was wrong with him for a while now. Some darkness was taking over his mind and eventually took his body. It's so sad. He was one of my closest friends. He left his little dragon, Jeep, behind for me to care for, but I wanted Goku to have him. I-I think he'll appreciate it more. I just hope that wherever Hakkai is, he's traveling safely and happy.

Oceana... She is a wonderful, mischevious fae who I think of greatly as a sister figure. She is fun, and very kind to me and anyone that she meets. She loves to play tag, mainly in water because she is a water lupe, but also in the snow, as I do! She is always there for me, and I almost feel as if we grew up together, I hope our friendship will last forever^-^

This is Sakura! She is my "owner" of sorts as well as one of my best friends. I met her when I was wandering around helplessly lost with no memory of my past what-so-ever. She and her "brother" took me in and cared for me...and now I periodically get visits from Sakura whenever she happens to fly by. She's a really sweet person...with the power to turn into a wolf! That's the form I see her in anytime we're in Neopia.

This is Huttser! He is a....Good friend of mine. We have known each other for a long time now. He is very fun to be around...well, back when he was a flirt..*blushes*I guess he kinda gave me my frist kiss..Oh well..at least Gojyo doesn't know about it...^-^;; Recently, he's been going through some tough times as he broke away from our pack (he was the alpha), beliving that there was no place for it as a demon. I don't believe that's true, of course, as anyone can be given a second chance...I'll miss him, but I just hope he's happy whatever he chooses to do.

Ah Daisy...She is one of my newest friends that I have yet to encounter. She's a loving, playful and wonderful person that I feel so fortunate I have gotten the chance to meet. She lives near such interesting places and we always go on grand adventures! Right now, we're actually meeting up with pirates, and it's turning out to be very much fun so far. I just hope that I can spend more time with her before I go off on another "nomadic" adventure to the north...Oh! And her little sister, Crystal, is very adorable. I'm so lucky to have found both of them.

My life now? Well, I have become somewhat of a nomad and find myself traveling along all the many reaches of Neopia...What a beautiful and wonderous land that this truly is! I espically love to visit the terror mountains...The snow is always so lovely and white, and the cold doesn't bother me at all! It only reminds me of how I use to play around with Oceana in the pack...I should really keep in touch with my "family" more often...

As the day lingered on, you staying in deep conversation with Phradie, he tales and fascinating interests weaving you in their almost unbelievable spell, you notice something…The sun has almost completely sunken behind the horizon of soft, bountiful snow that coats the land. Suddenly you start to panic. How are you ever going to get home now? It's dark, and with the night comes even color temperatures…there is no way that you're going to survive out here until morning. You stop, head hanging down as you "submit" to your fate after all of your traveling and searching. Your shoulders slump.
That's it…I'm finished. I can't go on anymore..
you recite, hands shoving into your pockets and your eyes closing tight, letting the cool chill of the evening air surround you. But, through the encroaching darkness appears a light…a brilliant mass of almost energy-like particles that glow brightly with the demise of the sun. Lifting your head and hands to her face, shielding your eyes from the light before you only to see it is emanating from your guide! There she stands her body out straight, her legs making her seem tall as two, long, angelic wings extend to either side of her back. Ears perked to attention, she looks over to you, literally glowing as specks of light cascade through the dark air onto the snowy ground, mixing with the snowflakes that refused to stop their own decent.
Don't give up….We're almost there.
she replies, dipping her head, gracefully, towards you. She then walks the few steps it takes to reach where you had stopped and move slowly behind you, nudging you in the back of your knees with her snout gently, a mischievous, encouraging smile upon her muzzle. I know that you can make if you try…Don't worry, I'll light the way.
she added, her wings unfurling once more as they flapped multiple times, the feathers of light interlocking and creating a comforting sight that was truly something to be seen.

Looking back down to her, you watch the shifting, pulsating reams of light flicker around the fea before you feel a warm, calming sensation fill your entire body. What a beautiful light…It was so…wonderful. Slowly, you nod your head, following her gesture to continue moving and make your way through the snow, feeling as light as a feather when Phradie is closest to your side, feeling the edges of the wings push back against your leg to keep you moving. A feeling of a bright, cheery sensation swarmed over you, making the trek seem just like a walk in the park, the snow a floating, intangible substance that merely wandered past your searching eyes. It seemed as if no time at all passed before you spotted something in the distance; your lodge! There it was, warm and inviting, the windows a light with small candles and a large stack of smoke drifting up from the highest, brick chimney.

Recovering from your spell, you jump up and down, eyes widening while a laugh of delight comes from your pursed lips.
Haha! We made it, Radie! Thank you so much for all of your help!
but, as you turn around to personally thank her….She is no where to be seen….Only small reminisces of glittering dust is left where she once stood. You stare back to the ground, eyes eventually lifting up to the sky, searching the darkness for any signs of her heavenly light, but see nothing but the shimmering stars in the cold, gray sky. Silently you watch them until a whipping of wind against your skin hits you, reminding you that you should really be in the lodge at this hour… So, reluctantly, you turn around, a dazed look on your face and a deep tug at your heart of all the things this angelic female had shared. For now, forgetting the worries of your heart as you made you way back towards the cabin.
