Exe leaned against a cold, hard, cement wall in a alley way and sighed. Why must my life be so boring? He frowned and looked around for entertainment. God, nothing really to do in this life... A drop of rain landed next to him,"Huh...guess it'll rain." He muttered and put his head pohnes in his ears. "Mhmm...music..." he grinned and turned the iPod on to listen.

Meanwhile, Phae sat alone on a bench in the park. Right as she opened the small brown bag beside her, she too felt a drop of rain. With a sigh she said, "ah well I guess I'll have to save my lunch until I get back home." She stood up from the bench and made her way out of the park. The rain poured heavier by the minute. She bundled up her lunch tighter and clung to her jacket from getting wet. Phae has never liked the rain and probably never will. Little did she know that the two strangers would cross paths in a most peculiar way.

Exe snarled and shoved the head phones in his pocket," Stupid rain." He muttered and headed out of the alley way. The rain bothered him. He shook his head,trying to get the rain drops off his hair."Hmmhph.." He grumbled and looked around through the rain. Which way did I come form again?

By this point, Phae was running. She stopped at a crosswalk and made made sure she was on the right street. When the traffic light turned red and the cars lined up along the crosswalk, she hastily ran across the road. She still had a long way to go before reaching home. "How stupid of me," she thought, "I should have checked the weather before coming all the way out here!" A van zoomed by and splashed a wave of water on Phae. Exe leaned out of one end of the ally and looked down the road, the same direction that Phae was heading. Blindly running, Phae tried rubbing the water and mud out of her eyes. Exe spun around to the sound of Phae's running right as she plowed into him. WHAM!

Wha- you little?!" He snarled and looked at her for a brief second in the rain. Why was she covered in mud? He blinking,trying to get water out of his eyes,"Er-you okay?"he muttered and pushes his soaking hair out of his eyes."I'm sorry..." to his surprise, he didn't even notice he was on the ground now. "Ughh.." Exe caught his breath and rubbed his back from pain. Why didn't I look before I was going? I should've known some ditsy girl would run into me.

Phae was completley embarassed. She now hoped that the mud covered her red, blushing face. "Ahh! I'm so sorry! There was a car-! Well the puddle-! I was running home but-!" She stammered, not able to find the right words. Exe helped himself up and quieted her with an, "it's alright. It was just an accid--" He paused. From the -disallowed_word-we can find other roleplayers for these minor characters), stated, "Good morning class. In order for me to learn your names faster, I'm going to put you all in assigned seats." Exe groaned along with the rest of the class. As He went down the rows of seats, Mr. Frumwich eventually reached Exe. "Oh here we go", Exe muttered. After taking his seat, the teacher called the name of the student who was to sit next to Exe. "Phae". No one moved. Mr. Frumwich said quietly to himself, "I guess she's not here toda-". The door suddenly opened. "I'm sorry to be late," Phae explanes, "I got lost." She made her way into the classroom as the teacher said, "ah well you came just in time. Please take a seat next to Mr. Exe over here." At first, Exe didn't recognize her because she wasn't covered in mud and water; but Phae knew who he was immediatley. "Man! I wish I had my iPod!" Exe thought. As he pondered on where he could get a new mp3 player he glanced at Phae once more. He noticed that she was beautiful but couldn't understand why she looked so nervous. Phae realised that he didn't recognize her but nonetheless worried about him remembering..
