Listed here are my personal FAQs, Goals, Pets and Guild information. Neomail me on my main if you have any questions. And the image is a fav character of mine from the anime/manga Tsubasa. :) My biggest hobby on Neopets is making petpages. Hopefully any of them will prove helpful to you. Neofriends: Closed Graphic/Layout Designs: Closed-please do not ask. Q.) Can I borrow...? A.)NO! I will say this once: I DO NOT HAVE THE ZAFARA DOUBLE AGENT PLUSHIE. I DO NOT HAVE THE FAERIE QUEEN DOLL. MY PETS ARE NOT FOR ADOPTION. Q.) Will you be my neofriend? A.) Sorry, I have enough neofriends. I prefer to have a small list of neofreinds that I really know and talk to often. Random people who ask to be a neofriend just because they like my pets, petpages and my lookup, or because they think I may be rich (HA!), really are not the kind of friends that I care to have. Now if you are not wanting to be my NF because of these reasons, then neomail me and we can chat. I don't mind chatting, and maybe once I can consider you an online friend I will request you as a neofriend. Q.)Can I have _____? A.) That is one of my biggest pet peeves on neopets, unless you are asking for advice. People work really hard to get the things they have on neopets, and nobody has the right to go around begging them for thier hard earned pets, items or nps. It is in no shape or manner fair. Being poor on neopets is a choice. People who cannot play flash games can still play non-flash games. They take longer sometimes, but you can still earn nps from them. Yes I have had some good luck on neopets, I've gotten a FFQ, had Xeroair get hit by boochi, and had the lab ray turn three of my pets into wonderful colors. But I have painted many pets on my side accounts personally, and I saved up and bought the lab ray myself. Even though I have neat pets at the moment does not mean that I am finished in my own neogoals. One of these days I am going to finish my gallery goals, once I can afford it. So I will not give out handouts, I have my own things I am saving for. Q.) Can you code me a _____? LOL. Sorry, I am flattered that people have asked, but I honestally have enough trouble keeping tracks of my own petpages and lookups. It usually takes me an average of about 10 hours to code either, as most of what I do is trial and error. I do this during my downtime, which I do not have alot of. I will advise you to check out the HTML guides listed on Hitakae's Directory as they are the ones that taught me. But if you do have specific HTML questions I will be happy to give you a few pointers. Q.) Can I have one of the pets on your side accounts? A.) No. Q.) How do you earn so much? A.) Hard work and dumb luck. Q.) Is premium worth it? A.) You have to determine that for yourself, but it is worth it to me. Q.) Please will you be my neofriend? Can I pretty please have ____? A.) Second time you ask me no, I start blocking and sometimes reporting then if you don't listen to me the first time I say it. I am on neopets to enjoy myself, I don't like being pestered. Q.) ONG! Why did you block me?! A.) I can get up to 20 neomails a day these days thanks to my petpages. Because of my own personal standard of trying to reply to anyone who writes to me, this becomes time consuming, not that I mind to much. But I do take affront to people who random neomail me one line messages, or ask me nonstop questions that I have already answered in my FAQs or petpages. If I directed you to a petpage, please read it before contacting me with most questions. Xanjie's page is the one I send people to most often, and though it is big, the most common FAQs have been answered there already. I've had one player ask me, over a span of 14 neomails (before I blocked), one line questions that had all been answered on the page. I don't mind helping answer questions, but do me the favor of not making me have to repeat myself again and again. Q.) Your petpages rock! But you need to add ___ to ___'s page. A.) O.o please do neomail me things like this. I always seek things to improve my pages. Q.) Who are you? A.) Ah the sound you hear is my ego dropping dead. :P I am simply an adult who enjoys Neopets. I started playing on this site as a place to relax after studying my way through college, and after graduation I have remained because it is a great and fun place to play. I love my pets and my family. I am an anime artist and I easily read a novel a day to relax. I am also a gamer, though no game has caught my interest too greatly recently. Q.) *Gasp* Is Shade really a teacher?! A.) *Gasp* Yes I am! I teach High School Science. My subjects include Biology, Environmental Sciences, and Integrated Physics and Chemistry. What?! Seriously, the guild name is the Marshmallows of DOOM? What kind of name is that? Marshmallows are not anything near scary. Clicking on the guild link yourself, you find out that they are a private group. Really tough, why would a group of marshmallows need to keep their guild quiet? Is there something going on that they don't want others to read? Like a plot to take over Neopia? Was that maniacal laughter you just heard? Disturbed and a little confused you go on about your way, only to come across another Mallow of DOOM later in the day. The insanity is spreading! Just what is all of this about?! This time you neomail the MoD member, demanding an explination. And they tell you to check out this petpage. Urgh, it looks like alot of stuff to read, but you start. Welcome to the guild information! Marshmallows of DOOM came about due to the guild leader's insanity, nothing more really. Shade would throw marshmallows at her friends online to get thier attention, and it has evolved into the theme for the guild. *Dramatic Fanfare* Now you know the secret behind the initials MoD. A small group, the guild is really a gathering of new and old friends to hang out, chat and escape the stalkers some of the members unfortunatly have. The only special thing about the guild, aside from Shade's twisted little mind, is the members themselves. We have no games, contests, guild till or whatnot, just the MoD bat when we get angry. Oh and those rumors of Neopian-domination? They were just rumors. ~Merlynshade ...................*evil grin* Guild Rules 1) This guild follows the rules set by The Neopets Team. There are no Guild-Sponsered giveaways, contests, activities or anything else that results in prizes for the members. We have no guild shop or guild-wide avatar lending. 2) Invites: This guild is invite only. The guild leader is the only person with invite ability. Before you request an invite please read further. To be invited you must be recommended by a guild member. Also, invites are sent only once-if you have invites blocked, you will not receive the invite. 3) Account Age: The guild does not accept members who have accounts under 4 months of age unless it is a side account of an older account. (If wish to join on a young side account neomail merlynshade from your MAIN account please and include the name of the side account you wish to join with.) 4) Activity: Activity in the guild varies, as we have members who prefer to lurk or spend thier time on other activities. Members will not be removed for lack of posting unless the account they joined the guild with has not been accessed for a VERY long time. 5) Concil and Control: Guild Council is already filled. Some members not officially listed as Council have Admin abilities as they have earned the right. 6) Behavior: As a member of MoD you are expected to conduct yourself in an appropriate manner. The Guild Leader and Council reserve the right to kick out any member who's behavior deems them worthy of removal from the guild. Not following rules set by TNT, or just plain rude behavior on the message boards will result in removal from the guild. Any arguments with other members need to be kept out of the guild. 7) No begging will be tolerated. Every Neopain starts out with the same amount of items and neopoints. What you gain out of the site is equal to what you put into it. The guild members will be more than happy to advise, but not to donate to any cause you may have. (Asking about avatar ITEMS is fine as long as you have proper collat.) 8) There are no guild contests, nor is there any guild-wide pet or avatar lending. Periodically a member may set up a 1 np auction, or randomly give out gifts. However it is not required, and there are no rewards, other than the feeling of a job well done, for services (i.e. help with guild layout or advise to a new player on how to reach a goal) done for the guild. If pet/item lending is done, it is a member to member activity and is not sanctioned by the guild. Lending is done at your own risk. Asking guild members for the amount to get the Adam avatar is not tolerated unless you have an item of value. Then it is a trading matter. Asking for nps alone is cause for removal in this guild. 9) Do NOT request to join this guild if you have an account that others have access to. Sharing accounts is aginst The Neopets T&Cs. There are many reasons for this. It is not going to be allowed in this guild either. 10) Post length.This has been discussed and decided on as a guild. Members are to try and keep guild posts consolidated. This means do not post five one sentance posts, but instead post one five sentance post. I hope that makes since. 11) Food fights are allowed. To Join: Due to the increased size and the amount of requests to join, this guild is currently accepting new members by recomendation only. To be recommended, a member must suggest your name to the guild. Currently we are asking that you have two guild members recommend you. If you wish to contact me and inform me that you were recommended by a member, I will check with them. Please note that even with a recommendation by the required two members, you may not be sent an invite. Make sure that you have guild invites open before asking for a recomendation or invitation. I will not send them multiple times if people have invites blocked. So make sure it is unblocked. Neomail me with the following message: "Only you can stop Marshmallow abuse" for an invite. This will tell me that you have read this page. Also something about yourself, and a mention of the MoD member recommending you would be beneficial as well. |
