Oh hello there! We're under construction, check back later!
Welcome to dock number 23B on the Virtupets Space Station. I'm Service Bot 623V, but feel free to call me Six. I'll be your guide today for you tour of the N.S.S. Argo Navis.
If you'll look above, each crew member's plaque should yield a small biography for them, but for the more adventurous, we have these other topics of interest:
Welcome to dock number 23B on the Virtupets Space Station. I'm Service Bot 623V, but feel free to call me Six. I'll be your guide today for you tour of the N.S.S. Argo Navis.
If you'll look above, each crew member's plaque should yield a small biography for them, but for the more adventurous, we have these other topics of interest:
The Argo was first built a few years ago by a colony of alien aishas who were building ships for a fleet that was going to be sent out to go to aid Dr. Sloth in his war against the little planet Neopia, but being fairly new to the art of ship building and space travel, the aisha's underestimated the time it would take to travel by space ship to the Virtupets Space Station near Neopia. By the time the newly built armada arrived at the Station, the war was over and Dr. Sloth was in hiding, leaving the aishas with a ton of ships and nothing to do with them.

Some were sent to be sold to a group of Jetsam who were eager to branch out from neopia and into space, and others were scrapped for parts and used to make a base on Kreludor. The Argo was one of few not scrapped, intended to be used by the alien aishas to help them colonize on a planet closer to Neopia, but it was stolen several times by space pirates before finally getting back into the hands of an alien aisha named Anumeri.
Originally, the Argo was named SA#306 by the alien aishas who built it. This stood for Sloth's Army Ship Number 306. During the time it spent in the hands of space pirates it went by several names, The Wing and Her Lady's Princess being the only two confirmed names. When she came to Captain Anumeri, he renamed her The Argo Navis. The N.S.S (neopian star ship) Argo Navis gets it's name from a star constellation that looks like a sailing ship.
Currently the Argo is being used as a cargo ship, transporting goods from the Virtupets Space Station and Kreludor to Neopia Central. She's running with a eight man crew, though she's designed to carry as many as twenty comfortably, and while she made be held together with tape in a few places, she's still running (mostly) fine.

This is the ship's log. If you're unfamiliar with what a log is, they date back to the early days of sailing navigation in the oceans. They contain information such as crew updates, the ship's missions and locations, and the ship's condition. It will often note any incidents the ship encounters which are worth noting for a form of official record. It is updated daily so in the event of disaster, it can provide details to help explain what happened.

It is most often updated by the ship's captain, but in the event they are unavailable, the first mate, or next highest ranking officer may update it in the captain's stead. As per neopian starship regulations, all activities must be accounted for, but to the surprise of no one, activities of a somewhat questionable legal nature, such as pirating, making unregulated pit-stops, or shipping stolen goods, will not show up in the log.
Nialshka is the ship's doctor. She was built on the Virtupets Space Station in response to coping with an increased number of injured pets during the war. She was originally programmed without emotions so she would be quick and efficient without them upsetting her and getting in the way of her duties, but after the war she was upgraded with a kind and compassionate personality, much improving her bedside manner.
Husking is a Navigator Robot, commissioned by Dr. Sloth for use on his battle ships and built by grundos on the Virtupets Space Station. He was one of many robots that never saw battle, but instead sat unneeded in the space station until requested by privately owned ships like the Argo. He is sentient, but uncomfortable around other pets. He usually only interacts with the rest of the crew when his navigation skills are required.
Nairavo is the Argo's trigger-happy pilot. When he isn't busy flying the ship, he can usually be found working out or practicing his aim with a blaster via virtual reality helmet. Of the crew, he is most at odds with the Captain, often preferring violence to the peaceful approach the Captain will always take. Despite this, he is quite possibly the best pilot in Neopia, and has proved his skills numerous times over. Rumor has it he was the inspiration for the book "The Jetsam Ace."
First Mate Qrof is the second in command, as well as the ship's mechanic. He tends to be shy, and doesn't talk much with most of the crew. When he does talk, it's usually to the Captain, whom he shares an unshakable friendship with. He can have quite the temper if angered, though, and everyone knows better than to do anything that would upset him, such as touching something they shouldn't, or insulting the ship or the Captain in any way.
Captain Anumeri is the Argo's level-headed leader. He has absolute love for his ship and crew, and keeps both in line as best he can. Despite his reputation as a rogue, he's actually a pacifist, who won the ship in a bet from the pirate who owned her last. Much of his past is a mystery, and he rarely offers any insight into his life before the Argo. He spends most of his time at the bridge, watching the stars, or in the recreation room keeping the peace.
Xasir first came upon the Argo when they were delivering a shipment of books to her school. She had always dreamed of traveling on such a ship, and seeing the opportunity, snuck onboard as a stowaway. It wasn't long before the Captain discovered her, but instead of throwing her in the brig, he saw in her a younger version of himself, and made her the ship's Hand. Despite her youth, she is hard-working, and a valuable member of the crew.
Kanitina was born a normal eyrie, who became a robot with the help of faerie magic. With her new body, she found an ability to connect with, and become the "soul" of star ships, controlling them, and sensing where they are damaged. When she was flying to the Virtupets Space Station, she happened upon the Argo, which was suffering malfunction and was out of control. She attached herself and saved it, becoming a permanent member of the crew.
Prothas, who calls herself Lady of the Golden Shadow, is an astronomer from the shores of Altador. When she heard a starship was landing in Shenkuu, she hiked up the mountains to see it. Having memorized all the names of the constellations as a youth, she recognized the Argo's name and knew it was destiny. It took hours of bartering but she finally convinced Captain Anumeri to let her on board as security and on-ground navigator.
