But one small life was trotting between the bushes and wandering around the large trees. Small was not an understatement on this wolf, the undersized creature being about the size of a small fox. She looked out of place amongst the natural surroundings, being so unatural herself.
She paused, bright yellow eyes glinting, then quickly dashed forward towards a stone by the edge of the woods, and leapt up upon it. The little creature sat herself down, and gazed at the sky, watching the colors melt together as the sun rose above the horizon.

Twi is... Well, for starters, 'e's 'uge! Giant! 'is size s'ouldn't be possible! .... Or maybe I'm just too small. Eit'er way, 'e's quite a nice guy, amusing to 'ang around.

ige is... An interesting fellow. I t'ink e's been 'itting on me... Not quite sure. But e's been nice enoug', 'n taug't me 'ow to swim.. Not t'at I'll be doing t'at again. 'e's also been following me.. But I don't mind, it's always nice to 'ave some company.

Fred is a creature w'o was broug't to t'e lab to study. S'e's kept in a cage most of t'e time since s'e can be very destructive. 'er name is an acrynom of 'Female, ravenous, extra-terrestial, destructive', w'ic' are t'e notes Kyle 'n Dan took on 'er.
S'e's pretty sweet w'en s'e isn't trying to eat everyt'ing, if a little odd looking. T'oug' s'e doesn't talk, I'll 'ang around 'er cage and keep 'er company, sometimes just rambling on to 'er about stuff. S'e seems to enjoy it, any'ow.

I, currently, 'ave my 'eart all to myself. W'et'er or not t'at is a good t'ing, I'm not sure. 'owever, I am keeping an eye out... Just 'aven't come across t'at perfect someone yet.
T'oug', I do appear to 'ave someone w'o may be interested in me... I'm not entirely sure. I'm not t'at great at figuring suc' t'ings out.
Caretakers
Daniel, or better known as Dan, is one of t'e people I owe my creation to. 'e is t'e older of t'e two, and 'as a tendancy to spoil me... But I'm not complaining! C'icken is good, you know. 'e, of course, is t'e more mature of t'e two, but knows 'ow to take a joke.
To be more tec'nical, Dan is twenty-nine, is married, and works at t'e lab of my birt', studying creatures t'at are sent to t'em wit' 'is partner, Kyle.
Kyle is pretty amusing, 'e likes to make jokes and just be silly w'en 'e doesn't actually 'ave to be serious. My namesake came from t'e name of 'is girlfriend, Jaylia. T'ey just messed around wit' t'e letters.
Again, for basic knowledge, Kyle is twenty-eig't, as said, 'as a girlfriend, and of course works at the lab wit' Dan.
Creation
Contrary to popular belief, little Jae is not actually a fox. She is a genetically mutated wolf. How that went about happening.. Well.
Once upon a time...
A young wolf in Laboratory 012 was discovered that she was going to be a mother. However, she was unable to carry the puppies, not having been old enough. So she was operated on, the puppies removed, but instead of just getting rid of them, the scientists of lab 012 decided to give them a chance.
Because they were now busy getting their wolf healthy again, they sent the puppies off to the other labs.
Laboratory 023 being one of them.
They received the puppy, and watched carefully over it as it continued to grow in the containment tube it had been placed in. But then Kyle, the younger of the two, had an idea. Why not try an experiment, and add genetic traits from another animal to their little wolf? At first, Dan was against the idea, but eventually gave in.
So they added in some genes from a fox, which were a sucess. But not wanting to take any more chances, they left their little wolf alone, not wanting to add anything else to it.
And so she grew.
But instead of growing big, like the other wolf puppies, she only grew to the size of a kitten before stopping. The two scientists got nervous, hoping they hadn't doomed their little wolf. Her ears grew larger, like how a fox kit's would be, and took on a more of a fox-like look, while still retaining her wolf features aswell.
Eventually lab 023's little wolf started squriming about in her tube. It appeared it was time for her to be 'born'.
She was removed from the tube, and the two scientists watched carefully, making sure she took her first breath, and continued breathing. She appeared to be doing fine. They checked her heartbeat, which was normal.
They had been sucessful, their little genetic experiment having worked, and their wolf having survived.
She was then gently washed off, being a tiny little thing, and the liquid from her containment tube was cleaned off of her. Once her fur had dried, and fluffed out, they could see her features more clearly. The two were rather pleased with their results.
Now their little wolf needed a name. After much discussion, it was decided to name her Jaeliava, a spinoff of Kyle's girlfriend's name.
Dan and Kyle continued to take care of their little Jae, recording her growth, her behavior, and eating habits. They were a little surprised when she stopped growing so quickly, having only reached the size of a small fox... That had been their fault, they supposed.
Though Jae's siblings survived, the scientists of Lab 023 never actually heard what happened to them afterwards, nor had they heard any news of Jae's mother. Her father had merely been a wolf her mother had encountered after she had escaped from her enclosure. It was never known who the father was, but Jae's mother had been found and safely returned to the laboratory.
