I sense there's something in the wind
That feels like tragedy's at hand...
It was night and the harvest moon had risen into the sky giving somewhat of a glow to this place. This place...how had you gotten here? In fact, why were you even here? Aware, you began to look around at your surroundings. The trees were long and dark and the forest floor was barely visible in the blackness. It was colder and the beautiful orange glow from the sun had drifted away and left you here, alone.
The shadows grew longer and closer, and a feeling so simple crawled into your mind and stayed chilling you. Fear. It wasn't terrifying but it was plucking at your thoughts and telling you to run...run far away and tell stories to your family of how you nearly died by fighting giant zombies, and won.
Your eyes had nearly closed from exhaustion when you suddenly caught sight of something, a blinking light at the edge of the forest. Headlights...no, a flashlight. Had someone found you? Standing and stumbling towards it, you stopped suddenly as you could now see clearer. This was no flashlight...but a small flickering lantern. You were frozen in your spot as you watched the figure draw closer. A small purple lupess appeared, the lantern dangling in her mouth. Her dainty front legs were striped with black and white and on her shoulder three entwined orange spirals sat together.
Her eyes were closed like she was in some sort of trance and a saddened look was left on her face. You almost felt close to her, like you had known her for longer than this. As she slowly walked by you she paused and opened her eyes. You stiffened at the sight for her eyes were blank and pupiless, an intense yellow color. They glowed eerily in the night. The little feeling of fear had grown and you were now drowning in it.
Can you see them?..." she spoke softly. You stood silent. See them? What was she talking about? It was only you and her, and that strange lantern that swayed back and forth hypnotically. "I see..." she spoke and closed her eyes beginning to walk again. You followed.

|+| Eve can sometimes fall into a trance where she becomes dazed and unaware of her surroundings. It's almost as if she is sleepwalking.

Written 18th day of Hiding,
I feel the tempataion of leaving this place. The forest is growing darker in every day and I fear that soon, I too will become ingulfed in shadows. The burning candle in my lantern is all the light and hope that I have now. Should I turn and flee to some unreal fantasy place? Or rot here for another eternity? Maybe someone will reach out to me...Will help me find home. It seems I'll just have to wait.

Just a pack of strange ones
Crows? You stare blankly at the purple lupess for a moment. She nods slowly as a small smirk of amusement crosses her muzzle. "It's my little nickname for people that also reside under the watch of Cal. I have come in contact with many crows in my life and never before have they been this annoying...they truly will never leave your side, never leave you unbothered, never leave you quite alone...they are always somewhere high above watching with black beady eyes. They are more than friends...they have become what some call family."
