Hello and welcome to my app for ricky1907, a very special unconverted Faerie Shoyru. I call her Reiki for short. I do ramble. But I tried to break up the text with pictures. xD

۞ About Reiki ۞
WELL the most important part about Reiki's app is obviously... about REIKI! Right?
Name: Daitengu Reiki

Species: Tengu Shoyru (oho it rhymes)

Abilities
How could I have forgotten? Though she refers to herself as one, Reiki is not an actual Tengu, so she cannot take on an avian form. Her wings retract and disappear when she doesn't need them to fly around. She does have the ability to control the wind using her fan that her adoptive father gave her. She also has been trained in martial arts.
My interpretation of Cazzie's pet has pretty much been passed down from a previous Shoyru I applied for. Yeah. I really like that design and I refuse to let go of it. Only difference is the design was made for a male character. Switch some hes and shes around, we're cool.

The design's theme is based off the mythical Tengu. Tengu are actually quite similar to the faeries of Neopets. They fly around, use magic, can be protectors or destructive evil forces. They have aided heroes and been in many stories. Reiki herself is not a Tengu. She was found by a Daitengu (a high ranking Tengu) that decided to take her in. Just for fun. He wanted to see what the mortals were capable of with Tengu training. Despite being raised by a powerful Tengu, Reiki was not respected any more by the other Tengu just because of it. She had her fair share of bullies and good friends willing to support her regardless of her race, and she rose up the ranks with grace, surprisingly.
۞ Why Reiki anyway? ۞
Yeah why would I choose this Shoyru out of a billion others for my fantabulous story that only someone with my genius could create? (Just kidding.) But its important enough question to be here. I respect the idea of a simpler app, I don't have the will anymore to go all-out crazy for a pet (trust me this isn't crazy by my standards), just to be told the foster isn't into artists and their shiny drawings and stories--it apparently covers up the true qualities of an applicant. (last time I applied for an UC Faerie Shoyru LOL) So this time I'm trusting in Cazzie's appreciation for simpler apps. Saves me a lot of stress!
Anyway I love UC Faerie Shoyrus. I just do. I can't say I have a legit reason why. And I still have my personal goal to have an UC by the time I end up in college. But really. I just want to use my design. x__x I spent a lot of time developing and creating a story for this character and not having a pet for it really bothers me. I think I can honestly say between the time I created it for the previous app and now it's been a year I've had this design. Wow I don't even like to think about how much has happened since then. It's crazy.
۞ More stuff about Reiki ۞
Reiki, according to a site that shares that name, is "a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation... is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress ... if high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy." A Buddhist created it, and Tengu are associated with Shugendo, which is a branch--for lack of better words--of Buddhism. It all works out, its cool right?
Reiki loves fruit tarts. I like to give my characters some kind of habit or obsession well its fruit tarts. If I have no idea how to start a story or a roleplay, it can easily start off with her doing something related to them, eating them, shopping for them, making them. (even though she's not a great cook)Reiki: ; ; So mean...
... WELL I SPEAK THE TRUTH!
Reiki also has a habit of being hard-headed, and it contributes to her problem with being exiled. She must seek enlightenment while she is in the mortal realm, she just doesn't always seek it.
۞ About Me ۞
My name's Jay. I am an artist and a writer. I'm the whiny people's worst nightmare, but no I'm not actually one of those artists that get all the pets I apply for. SO HA. HA. I am going to major in graphic design when I go to college. I've spent this summer tending to an unhealthy obsession with video games and MMORPGs. I also am a ball-jointed doll enthusiast--Say hi Maple!

On Neopets I have five accounts. Dreamsmist (main), Exaelitus (active side/lab acc.), Shadowkii (side), Sonicmegagirl (old main), TrinintyxJazmin (side). Recently they've been cleared out because when I was 13, I was a psycho that needed to create 4 pets on every account. And they sat there. I guess I was crazy and believed I needed that many accounts too. EVERYONE WAS DOIN IT!
The pets I mainly focus on are on my main, easy access and all that. I sort of work on them at my own pace since I don't have some deadline to meet for them. SO I'm having a slow process of changing the content/layouts of my pets. I'm getting more time to do this. Aside from my pets that I mainly play this game for, I do play games and lazily participate in plots. I lurk a lot in the Neoboards, especially the Pound Chat, marveling at their viciousness.
OH AND BEAUTY CONTEST. I DO THAT. My Darigan Chomby tends to hog all the trophies however. xD
Mmmyeah I don't know what else to say. I like basically every lizard/dragonlike pet. Actually not an avid Draik fan. Only one I'd have is Visoth. ♥
۞ Plans ۞
I can't promise you crazy things, especially with the unpredictable future thats ahead of me right now, but there are a few things I have in mind.Main Account
I have four pets on my main account right now but the account is old enough for me to just transfer one out and get Reiki. Being on a main account gives me quick access to her where I can update her pages and do whatever else needs to be done. She deserves as much attention as possible.
Customization
I don't buy NC much anymore but I still have backgrounds and trinkets I'd like her to use. Customization is a must with all my main pets. xD

To be honest I haven't done a whole lot of crazy art for Reiki to stay detached but plenty of pictures I still have in my head I'd like to do of her. And enter in the Beauty Contest. I always try.
Thinking about entering this in the BC, y'know, if I did get her.
Petpage + Story
I'd love to use my old app's layout for her new petpage. The story written on it is exactly how I want it to look (sans the male version) Plenty of tweaking will need to be made but that's how I deal with all my pets' pages. I also want to keep her story uninvolved with the other 3 pets on this account, mainly because she's too special. Not really. Her style and story just don't fit in with the story they have.
Petpet
Hiro the Island Kateil, I bought him some time last year and he's never been put to use. He's hanging around in my gallery again in hopes of a partner this time. :3
Reiki will stay with me forever. There's no way I'd give her up for anything, as she is on the top of my list of pets I'd love to own. My ultimate goal. No more applying for me. No more "terrorizing" the non-artistic applicants out there. She will not rot. I can promise you that.

Ah yes the family, all weirdos like me.
Unsonant
No one yet has come forth with the knowledge of the meaning in Unsonant's name. It's a real word but search engines spew out sparse links pertaining to it. It was so pretty I had to use that name though. Character wise he's short-tempered and spoiled, but has a few redeeming qualities if you can find them. He's my favorite pet to draw. He hogs about 90% of the family's BC trophies though I intended him to be ugly.
Hateou
I applied for a Zombie Usul almost three years ago, finding him just too adorable to ignore. I'd say he's adjusted quite well to his new family, getting his promised BC entries, petpages, and roleplays. He's an intelligent zombie but very, very crude. He is better company than antisocial Unsonant, if you can get past his horrible habits.
Apolo_Z
Oh, Apolo, I have no idea what to do with him character wise. He has a story he's involved in, but no design, no spark quite yet. I found him in the revamped pound after coming back from my first hiatus, quite shocked that I could find a Christmas pet. (I couldn't before) I decided Christmas Yurbles were quite cute without their clothes, so I morphed and painted him. For now he's my Battledome pet of the family. Perhaps I could think of a story with him that ties in with Reiki's. I'd have time to think of something.
Visoth
I applied for Visoth back in March this year. Much to my surprise, (and many others apparently) I was chosen for him. Since then I've been slowly filling in his petpage with his story with Hateou and Unsonant. He's not particularly the friendly type, but if you were more machine than organic, you probably wouldn't be either. Through him, I learned that the Draik section of the Beauty Contest is HARD.

Usoba
I went on a whim on Jetsam day and created one named Usoba. She did well on her first Beauty Contest entry, earning herself a gold trophy. Her story pretty much ties in with Hateou's and she can be seen in Visoth's story on his petpage. She is bratty and selfish for her age but gets along well with Hateou. I'm sure she would be nothing but a bully to Reiki.

So this is the end of my app. It turned out a lot longer than I had planned, but I felt like some real effort had to be shown in order to stand out.I have to thank Synnie for creating this amazing layout for me. The picture of Reiki is by me but she added all the effects and the graphics you see around to create this layout. She's quite talented isn't she?
Cazzie, thanks for giving everyone the opportunity to own a pet like Reiki. I promised myself I'd apply for another UC Faerie Shoyru if I had the chance, and you gave me that chance!
