Welcome to Dubloon Adoptions! This is an adoption agency for Nico's foster pets. There will be very few of us here, as Nico REFUSES to use anything other than his own foster pets, and the lab ray is a fickle machine. He also only has two lab rays, so that doesn't help.
As soon as he gets one more ray, he will be able to have many more pets here!
Note: most, if not all, pets will come with a zapped petpet. DO NOT REMOVE IT! If you do, it will revert to a tencals/altachuck. You are free to change the name, though :) (If you have a petpet FOR the pet, go ahead and remove it. I have no problem with this... I only wanted to point out that YOU might ;))
Yes, I'm afraid that, as with most agencies, there are rules to adopting us pets. I have slightly changed my rules just this once... I will allow petpage applications, as I have some very rare pets this time around (YAY Lab Ray! :D).
Nico tries to have a relatively short list of rules, but he knows that he needs SOME, or be swamped by idiots' offers.
- RULE #1: NEVER EVER POUND ONE OF YOUR CURRENT PETS SO THAT YOU CAN ADOPT ONE OF MINE! (NEVER EVER EVER EVER... am I making myself clear? The instant it is even HINTED that you did so, you will be disqualified.)
- What have you done for your CURRENT pets?
- WORK ON IT!!! Try to sound professional. Take your time... think about what you want to say...
- Tell me a little bit about yourself... what makes you more special than the average person?
- No chatspeak! (You will be ignored if you use it) Neopian acronyms are fine, but in moderate amounts...I should've screenied an application I got that didn't have a single full word!
- If applicable, state how you (out of any other applicant) are special and how you will do things for the pet. (Roleplaying, Beauty Contest, for examples.)
- If RPing, have some kind of personality (at least a general idea...) ready.
- Something that makes your app stand out from everyone else's... ;)
Note that after you apply, there will be a short interview, so make sure you have about 15 minutes free after I respond to you. (LET ME KNOW! :P)

I love giving pets to RPers... I don't know why...but that does not mean you will automatically get it. If you are planning on RPing with one of these pets, I would like to see:
- A plan for a personality. (A complete one works as well. *cough*)
- Some kind of custom design would be GREAT... but not necessary.
Actually, that's about it... I'd still like to hear all of the above, and more would be great, but... do your best... if you need more time, just ask ;)
