What is a mutant?

There are diffrent types of haunted creatures: Vampires, zombies, werelupes and mutants. Some are two things at the same time; some mutant blumaroos are also zombies. But not all mutants are dead, most mutants are normal neopets with more bodyparts then they should have. Some also have special powers, like extreme strength and the power to stare hours without blinking.

What is a transmogrification potion?

If you want a mutant neopet you can use a transmogrification potion to turn your neopet into a mutant. Those potions are given out by Dr, Sloth as a random event, more about this doctor here. The transmogrification potions are one of the cheapest ways to change your neopets species and aren't that rare, if you check the shop wizard or TP you can buy one.

What neopets/petpets can be mutated?

Click for all neopets here and here for all petpets. Some mutant colors are displayed on neop sites but haven't been released yet, like the gelert and bori. They will be released later (hopefully, the gelert looks awsome!)

Who are mutants?

I don't have a list with all mutant neopets in neopia (it would be the longest list ever) so I'll just show you all the mutants Glitt owns.
Calizz (korbat) she is a normal neopet with a mutant look.
Kaayea (kyrii) he is a depressed baby mutant kyrii.
Qialia (ixi) always the best in everything, no special mutant powers.
Yeilon (scorchio) he has something mutantish, an obsession for one thing; rubber duckies.
Ramulon (chia) before he got mutated he was a skeith, he eats EVERYTHING.
Mires (aisha) she was born mutated and lost one eye when she was playing at the space station. She has mutant powers; extremely strong claws and teeth.

Who started all this?

Dr. Sloth He gives transmogrification potions to neopians to create more mutants, he wanted to use them for his own private army but that just didn't work. He is still giving out transmogrification potions to get rid of all his potions. First he tried to sell them to Kauvara bus she didn't want it. I'll tell you more about those potions later.

When can I get mutant avatars?

You can get the mutant jubjub avatar if you give your neopet a transmogrification potion

But thats not the only mutant-related avatar in neopia. If you want to show everyone how much you love the docotr who created those potions you could use the sloth avvie, dr. Sloth seems to love random events. This avvie is random.

The other Sloth avvie (I ? Sloth!!) is retired, you can get it on Sloth day when you score 100% in the Sloth loyalty test in his mind control lab. You should answer the questions with C, D, B, C and A. Don't worry; Sloth doesn't know if you'tre lying or not. Don't forget to check the "I agree that Virtupets is not responsible for any bodily injury or brain spasms that may occur during the duration of the Dr. Sloth Loyalty Test-box" on the top of the page. You can get the DOOMED avatar by refreshing the game graveyard, I still haven't got it and I refreshed like... a million times! Being doomed alone doesn't give you the avvie. Hint: Hold the F5 key.

When is mutant day?

On aug 25th, on this special day TNT will release alot of mutant items (and mutants). It's a great holiday for every mutant in neopia, to make this day extra fun all neopets will be mutant for one day. Isn't that awsome? And don't forget Sloth appreciation day (Jan 14th), we should all celebrate the green thing that made the mutants. Halloween (Oct 31th) is also importiant to mutants, yay for the scary ones!

Where can I get mutant stuff?

So, you like mutants? I guess you want to buy some mutant items then! You can get food, plushies, T-shirts and more at the normal neopian shops (food shop, clothes shop) for more scary stuff you should visit the haunted woods and it's amazing shops and games. If you want a transmogrification potion you need to visit the trading post or shop wizard.

Where can I get the mutant paint brush?

I've seen some people that were looking for a mutant paint brush, if you want one of these remember this; MUTANT PAINTBRUSHES DON'T EXITS! Only petpets can be painted mutant. You need a transmogrification potion for mutant neopets.

What is mutants united?

Mutants united is a project my site started because I've seen this kinda stuff by royal and grey neopets, why should only the expensive PB's have their own banner? I MORE banners to display your mutants personality. Don't you dare to remove the link or steal them. You can eat them if you realy want, but be warned, they taste like a 50 year old cracker.
