Hello there, guest! This is the homepage of the ZYDP Guild! This introduction is for new or prospective members of the Guild, who would like to know more about what we do.

First, let's talk about the ZYDP Program. Our mission is to unite Neopians with their dream pets through our Zapper & Wishlist programs. :) How does this work? It's simple. We have an extensive Wishlist, where we list usernames and dream pets. Fulfilling all of these wishes is a lot of hard work, and that's where our Zappers come in. The Zappers are very generous Neopians with access to the Secret Lab. The Zappers have volunteered to help ZYDP by using their lab rays to zap Neopets. When a pet gets zapped into a new color/species, the Zapper checks the Wishlist to see who wished for that kind of pet. Then the Zapper sends the pet away to its new home. :)

Now for a little bit of information about the ZYDP Guild! The ZYDP Guild was originally founded as a place where the Zappers could gather to chat (and complain about that uncooperative Mad Scientist!). Everyone is welcome to join the ZYDP Guild. ZYDP is just a general, Neo-related guild, and we now have over 200 members. These members have diverse roles: Zappers (who zap pets!), helpers (who don't have the lab ray, but help out in many other ways), wishers (who are looking for their dream pet), savers (who are saving for their own lab maps), and more! But the one thing that we all have in common is that we are all dedicated to granting as many wishes as possible.

Guild Ranks

Here are the criteria for each of the ranks. Please check and make sure that you have been assigned the correct rank! If you fulfill the criteria for more than one rank, it is up to you to decide which rank you'd like. (For example, if you have granted 5 wishes, but you have also posted 100+ times, you can choose between being an "Ultimate Zapper" or "Super Active.")

#1: Super Active any member (zapper or non-zapper) who has more than 100 posts

#2: Ultimate Zapper any zapper who gives away 5+ dream pets

#3: Notable Zapper any zapper who has given away at least one dream pet

#4: Newbie Zapper any member who is on the zapper list, but hasn't given away any pets

#5: Helper any remaining, non-zapper guild member

Guild Rules

Okay, so these rules are basically common sense, but they're listed here, just in case you want specific guidelines. :)

Please enable Guild Mailings! To do so, go here and check the box next to "Enable Guild Mailings." This allows the ZYDP council to send Neomails to all members of the guild at the same time. (If you don't have this enabled, you'll miss out on the Neomails!) Sometimes important information is sent by Neomail. However, if you forget to enable guild mail, you can always find the Newsletters here on this site. :)
Stop by the guild message board to chat...frequently! Members with zero posts may be removed from the guild for inactivity. So please come by to say hi. No one will bite you, I promise!
When advertising for ZYDP, remember to be polite and respectful to everyone that you talk to. Your attitude can reflect on the ZYDP guild as a whole. And we want everyone to like us, haha. ;)
ZYDP is a no-begging zone! We would love to help you adopt your dream pet, but please do not beg for anything.
Also, individual members of the guild may choose to donate to your (insert-what-you're-saving-for-here) fund. But as a whole, "ZYDP: the Guild" does not provide Neopoints to its members. Sorry!

Guild Council

Here you can learn a little bit about the lovely people on ZYDP's council:

notions	Bio: Hi! I'm Brynne, and I'm the leader here at ZYDP. I'm 20 years old, and currently a junior at college, where my major is Animal Science. So I love animals (real ones and pixelated ones ;)) and I hope to be a vet someday. I like to read (yeahyeah, major nerd-age), make stupid videos with my friends, and generally fangirl over my favorite band. On Neo, I spend most of my time managing ZYDP stuff and working on stories for my permie pets. If you haven't noticed by now, I tend to over-use smilies and exclamation points! I can't help it...maybe I'm just over-excited. XD Anyway, please don't hate me if my inbox is full. (No throwing dung! I don't want that all over my stuff, ewww...) I promise I will empty it as soon as possible. :) ZYDP Position: Wishlist Leader Brynne manages the many webbies associated with ZYDP (most importantly, the Wishlist of awesome). She's the girl to go to if you need to update your dream pets, or if you've granted a Wish, or if you have some random ZYDP-related question.
_margarita_	Bio: I'm Amanda, a 26 year old, dorky, neopets addicted, homeschooling mom. I love riding roller coasters, camping, hiking, sewing, reading, cooking, baking, and just sitting outside on a nice day with a glass of iced tea. While I'm not much for small talk, I do like to answer questions, offer advise, and help out however I can. I began playing on the site in 2001 and have no plans on ever leaving. The root of my neopets obsession is the lab ray: it is terribly addicting and I simply love being able to grant dream pet wishes. ZYDP Position: Adoption Agency Coordinator Amanda runs our Adoption Agency and our UFT page. So she's the one to talk to if you want to add your pets to either of those pages. She's also one of our top wish-granters (you go girl!), so feel free to ask her questions about that as well. :)
bermudakitty	Bio: My name is Allison. Off neopets, the 2 places you can find me is at the barn, and outside. I love to horseback ride on my 5 year old arabian mare Moonstone. She is so much fun to jump, and do dressage on. I love to hang around with all my riding friends too. I am a very active person. I love to run, do yoga and work out. I could say im pretty good at most sports. On neo, I love to talk to ZYDP, and my other friends here. I have been at ZYDP for as long as I can remember. I think I joined about a year and a half ago. I would not say im crazy about neo, but i do like to log on when I have time. Im a straight A student, so I am quite busy at school. Thats pretty much it. ZYDP Position: Head Monitor Allison's job in the guild is to manage everything "member" related. She monitors the guild board (making sure there's no spamming, deleting inappropriate posts, etc), welcomes new members, and updates member ranks. Feel free to Neomail her if you have any questions about the guild!
starrona	Bio: Hi, I'm Star! I'm on neo most of the time. Aside from my job and sleep and the hanging with friends I'm on pretty much all the time. I'm no artist or writer, and I haven't gotten into the roleplaying aspect of neo (and I really don't plan to). You will often find me at Pound Chat (and Help Chat right now as i'm looking for a custom userlookup). My ultimate dream pet is an UC Faerie Ixi, but the chances of getting that are slim. ZYDP Position: Lead Advertiser Star's job is to organize advertising for ZYDP (the guild and the Wishlist). If you would like to help with advertising, you should contact Star! She also helps out by organizing Wishlist clean-ups, running the guild newspaper, and brainstorming guild activties.
wolf_pup_luv	Bio: My name is Blaise, and I'm the Council Helper. Besides zappng for the guild and doing my various duties, I host a page of WN pets that anyone can zap as well as report on guild happenings. On Neo, I spend nearly all my time either in the guild (sometimes lurking, sometimes posting) or on the FC. Offline, I'm very busy with school and my music and theatre programs. Anything else you want to know about me is best learned through talking to me, so feel free to send me a neomail. ZYDP Position: Council HelperBlaise is the multi-tasker of the guild council. Her job is to help the other council members and just be generally cool. :)

Guild Activities!

What are guild activities?
Guild activities are fun little games that guild members can participate in. In order to participate, you must be a member of a team (either Team Crazy Kookith or Team Mad Scientist). Every guild member is welcome to join a team. If you'd like to join in, just NM Star (starrona), and you'll be added to a team. (Teams are randomly assigned, to assure that numbers stay even. ;))

What are the rules?
A new activity will be posted here every few days. The first person to NM the correct answer to Star (starrona) earns points for their team. If nobody guesses the correct answer, hints will be added. However, as hints are given out, the point value of the answer goes down. So try and figure it out as quick as you can! Also, please submit only ONE guess per Neomail, per day. :)

WE ARE NOT GIVING OUT NEOPOINTS OR ITEMS AS REWARDS FOR COMPLETING THE ACTIVITIES.
