You walk in an almost pitch black field, your bare feet shuffle through the damp grass that carpets the ground. You are lost in this new place, and fear has a hold of your bravery- giving you that strange feeling in the pit of your stomach.

Suddenly a light shined in the distance, it flickers in one spot for a while as if deciding what to think of you standing there. Then it begins to slowly move toward you, weaving through the tall grass that lays further off in the field.

You begin to run. What else can you do? When it come to fight or flight sometimes flight is the safest option. But you stop when you glance up at the stars above. They glitter in the dark sky like diamonds, and fireflys, and all those other poetic things you always read about. It's been a while since you have seen so many stars, most of the light in the cities and towns block it all out.

Amazing, is it not? a voice suddenly mumbles from your left.

You leap back and let out a surprised shout. Slowly you relaize the form to be a gelert. From what you can see in the darkness (and from the golden sparkler she holds in her mouth) she is red with yellow markings along her body. She is quite attractive as far as neopets go.

She stairs at you for a moment, the smell of sulfer from the firework fills your nose.

Is it not? She seemes unaware of your shock and waits for your answer.

No,you look back up toward the stars, They are quite amazing.

You both stand there, only the crackling of the flames seem to fill the endless scilence... and you are thankful for the peace.
