Tales of the Dancing Light

Me? I don't have much of a story to tell.
I'm still just a kid!

But I guess I'm "special" in a way.
You see, I'm.. er, I'm the daughter of two that, by normal standards, should never be together.
My mommy is a half-elven Xweetok, which are generally.. "disliked" by the populace, as she says? They aren't exactly normal, and rather downcast by the public.
My father, however, is a pure-blood, with a world-known title and role as the Chosen of Tethe'alla.

I find it sad, because it doesn't affect other people, and love is love, no matter who's fallen into it, right?

It's put me and my family through lots of adventures so far, that difference that I am..
I guess that suffices as a story? It explains stuff.

Anatomy Analysis

Being part Lupe and part Xweetok, Faith doesn't quite fit into the norm.

To start things off, her ears are pointed and thin, more canine then anything else. Her fur is also abnormally thick and fluffy, especially around her neck ruff and back. Tail being more fuzzy then feathery, she is generally very well suited for cold climates, but can also thrive in a warm place.

Mostly an overall light pink, Faith takes a ton after her father in terms of coloration. Her ruff and the streak down her back are crimson, edging being a pale sky blue. Four stripes are right above her ribcage, getting smaller as they go back, lengthening out from her blue streak edging. Her forelegs are an icy color, though they turn silver around her paws -- her chest is also a silvery white.

Tail looking as if it was dipped in paint of the same ice-blue hue, orange splotches her thighs somewhat, legs splashed in black starting a bit past her knees. A golden stripe marks her ankles, an upside-down "V" of sorts. She has a rather slight figure, light and capable of prancing and leaping all about with relative ease. This is where she resembles her Xweetok mother, being thin and delicate, though sleek nevertheless.

Personality Analysis

It's pretty true to say that Faith's retained some of the better facets in personality that her parents have, but that doesn't quite go deep enough.

Rather good-natured in general, she has a sunny outlook to life, liking to try all sorts of things: she's certainly not very shy, but curious instead. Rather curious.. though obedient, she has a bad habit of getting caught up in things and wandering off, too interested in her current focus to really listen.
When she's not off on one of her "explorations", be them with friends or no, she's often socializing with the few children she meets with. Full of energy, Faith loves to play tag, leap and run, waving her tail in the face of the others before bounding out of reach, laughing.

It's certainly not uncommon for her to be out and about, sniffing at every scent and bright blue eyes looking over all that she can see. Always hungry for things to know, Faith likes to learn.. as long as they're the things she finds facinating. Otherwise, she'll tend to not really care (unless Raine's teaching her - she knows well to pay attention then!), wandering off to her own accords.

The bad thing about all of this?

She seeks to meet people, to make friends and to play, but she has many things holding her back from doing so. Her race is one thing: not only is she a hybrid, but she is also a child born between a normal being and a half-elven being, which is considered unthinkable with the half-elven discrimination out there. With her father being rather well-known and well-loved by the world, this also complicates things.. in general, Faith's existence is kept a secret, and it's best for it to stay that way.

Other secrets lay hidden to her and her family, known only to few..

Though a kind, dear little girl, Faith struggles with these reasons and politics, her childish demeanor clashing with the raw facts about her life.

Friends + Allies
Well.. er.. hmm. I don't have any friends my age, but I do have some friends nevertheless!

This is Linar. He's a nice guy (I like playing with his glasses, they make things look funny!), and he teaches me about history and stuff. I know that he's a good Aisha, and my mommy and daddy like him too, with how he gets along with half-elves and the such. When he's not telling me about the Anicent War and things like that, we like to play tag! He's pretty fast for a kitty.

And this is Raine! She's Linar's best friend, and they like to study ruins together.. sometimes I get to peek at the maps and vases. It's interesting, really. She's also pretty nice, though she can be a tad strict when talking about math and science. Though, it's kinda funny.. when she sees something old and dusty, her eyes light up and she starts acting all weird!

Family

He's called Zelos by some people, but he's my daddy, so yeah.
He's.. a funny wolf, always joking around and adding spark to things. Big and strong, I always know that I can count on him.. it's fun to ride on his shoulders and see everything from up there!
Though he's really really nice and sweet, like all dads should be, he can be terribly scary when he's angry.. but I love him nevertheless. So big and warm and nice to hug.

My mother, also known as Myiliki to the few folks who might know her!
Not exactly like some people I've met, she's.. really kind, and a really great mom, but she's kinda shy and a bit overprotective of me. I know why she is like that, buut.. aw well. She always makes me feel safe and at home, and she's the one who teaches me my ice magic.
It's really great when she makes it snow so I can play, though my daddy doesn't like it when that happens.. but anyways, I love both of my parents a whole lot!

This is Auntie Seles. She's my daddy's half-sister. I dunno if I can really consider her a friend, but she's not an enemy. I just hope that we can try and get along, that's all.

There's.. uncle Orrekon.. he's kinda scary, actually. I've never spoke to him, but I've seen him..
He really hates my mommy.. why? I don't get why he hates her so much...
