Prologue

On March the fourth, 1000, a small lupe was born, dark grey in pelt. His mother was a white lupe, and his father a shadow lupe. He grew up with his parents, and they raised him to be a kind lupe.

That is, they did not teach him how to protect himself.

As the youngling reached the age of one, he left his parents on his own terms, wanting to learn more of the world around him. He had only grown up on an acre of forest, but he knew there were more then a million other acres he had not seen yet. With a big smile, he left a protective home, only to settle in a dark, gloomy cave. He did not like his new home, but if he remained any longer with his parents, he thought they he will never see the outside world.

He dozed off to a light sleep, until he was awoken to the thunder and heavy rainfall. He whimpered sadly, and crawled deeper in the cave, but it only made the thunder echo in his head, making it worse and worse. He cried himself to sleep that night.

Weeks carried on and on, and he grew older and older, getting used to the harsh weather. He one day found a pack of wolves. He smiled, and tried to make himself look tough, and went up to the leader, holding his head up. The leader, taking interest, looked at this male and walked up to him.
And who may you be, entering my territory?
He asked the new male with a smirk. The other male snorted at the leader, shocking some of the other pack members, and responded to him with a heavy grin,
Why would you want to know?
The leader looked at him, and gave a suppressed chuckle.
I like you, you've got that 'I don't care' attitude. What is your name; so you may join my pack?
The male became very shocked, but he kept the feelings inside with a firm face, and he stuttered softly,
M-m-my name'ss... Prince.
Many chuckles were heard from the crowd of lupes, and Prince folded his ears back, blushing under his grey fur with embarrassment. The leader gave a laugh as well, and shook his head.
Naah, naahh, that will not do.... We will give you a new name. How about... Chaos.

The newly named Chaos smiled, wagging his grey tail happily.
Thank you for accepting me leader, it means alot to me!
Chaos smiled, now seeing the great part of being away from his family. The leader gave a a grin to Chaos, and told him,
You don't call me leader. Understand? Call me "Great father".
Chaos smiled, and nodded, accepting the great father's words.

But for how long?

Years past as Chaos grew up with the pack. He was no longer thin, but had great muscular abilities. His mind grew from an adolescent to an adult. How the pack acted, he had taken from them, and became one of them.

But it seemed that the pack was not as friendly as that day.

Ever since Chaos joined the pack, he turned from his sensitive self into a cruel, mean lupe. He didn't care if what he did would affect another family, as long as he got what he wanted. One day, he eventually set up a trap. The whole pack followed him to this supposed place that had lots and lots of food. Chaos snuck off from the group, and released a trap mechanism that showered the group with boulders. Everyone, excluding the Great father was caught in the avalanche of boulders. Chaos smirked, and ran off into the darkness.

He was no longer that nice lupe.

Chaos felt like he was the most important lupe in the world. He felt strong and confident, knowing that he could win any battle. No one stood in his way. One day, he decided that he would attack the humans next. And, each night, in his dark cave, he would sit inside, running through his ideas and planning his next move.

That day, a rabbit heard his plans, and he went to warn the villagers.

The day he planned for the attack soon arrived, and he got up early, and was ready to take over the village. But the humans had formulated a plan to get him back. They set up a trap, much like he did to the pack members. As Chaos slowly snuck in the bushes, his foot got caught in a rope. Snarling, he tried to get his paw out of the rope, and he looked up a tall cliff to see boulders falling on him, and he was trapped in the avalanche. He stuck his head out, growling angrily. His body had become paralyzed, and he couldn't get out. He saw the Great father. He called over to him,
Great father! Please help me!
The Great father looked at him, and walked towards him. A smirk came upon Chaos' face, knowing that he would help, but it soon faded as the Great father spoke,
I will not help you... You did this to our pack, so you will suffer like they did.
And with that he walked off, leaving Chaos to lie under the boulders.

Eventually, he died.
But there is more to the story.

For his bad deeds, his soul had been locked away, deep inside a dark mansion, in the basement. His souless body was imprisoned by a cage of dark flames. But such bad things can be done by the innocent.

A thousand years passed, sister and a brother both entered the mansion's yard. The brother was older then the sister, and rebellious to his parents. They told him not to go to this mansion, for it was a place of dark deeds. He though his parents' words were nonsense, and took his sister with him to see how this place really was. They stood outside the house by a window.

T-there, we saw it... can we go?
His sister pleaded sadly to him, but he shook his head.
No way sis! Look how amazing this place is...
He said, and wiped a window with his sleeve, cleaning off the dust that had collected over centuries, and he looked in the house.
Let's go inside!
He suggested to his sister. She gave him a surprised look, and said,
No! Let's just go home... Mom and dad said this place is bad...
Her brother gave her a teasing grin, and asked her,
What? Are you... afraid?

The girl gave her brother a scolding look, and crossed her arms.
No! That's it! Let's go in already!
She stomped her way into the house, and the brother entered as well, knowing that trick always worked. They looked around the old mansion. The girl gasped,
Wow... The entrance room is bigger then our backyard!
They continued to look around, curious of why no one has occupied this place. The brother tumbled over a latch on the ground, and called over his sister
Sister! Come over here and look at this!
She ran over and looked at it. She was a bit nervous, but he lifted it.

A dark spirit has been awakened.

They say the brother and sister got away saftley back home. Other proclaim that they were never seen again. Otherwise, the Dark lupe had been awakened. As he escaped the cage of flames, he lost his leg, but it was replaced with the darkness of the bars. A mark came upon the face of Chaos, and his tail changed, showing from kindness to cruelty. To cover his true identity:

He became a lupess.

S..tranger than fiction

Old stories...

Fascinating writings of the imagination. Though some are based on true events, many are make believe. A figment of the writer's imagination.
The very story you have read... The strange drawing of a black-flamed lupe running and howling at the moon... Blood-red menacing eyes, spike from his body... This story cannot be real, can it?
Could you believe? You look questioningly at the book, as if expecting an answer. You shake your head. Of course not, These are just fairy tales... Aren't they? You close the book and shove it far away, it slid to the edge of the library's table. You hated the book now, the story, the character, everything. You get up, picking up your things, and leave the library, trying to shut the thought of of your head. You decide to take a shortcut through the Haunted woods. You walk cautiously, many strange sounds are heard. During you travel, you see a grey lupe ahead, her tail strange colors from black to white, various shades of Grey in between, a strange black design on her back to her face, a black X mark over the left side of her chest, and her left leg...black flames.
Hello?
You call to the strange creature. It looks back at you, her eyes seemed filled with sorrow. She is startled by your presence and runs off.
Wait! I do not want to hurt you!!
You shout after the lupe and start to run. The lupe eventually disappears into the fog of the Haunted woods, never seeing her again.

My life... started in a way you wouldn't believe from a wolf's mouth.

I was originally a Rabbit.

A simple, grey and white rabbit, who had brothers and sisters. A mother and father who cared for all of their children dearly. I had the perfect life, and I truly was happy... But one main event has changed my life drastically.

That is, when my soul became trapped.

Encounter

It happened when me and my siblings were exploring the woods. We had wondered off too far from home, but I was too curious for my own good.
We should go back...
I said softly, but then we heard a rustle coming from the bushes. We all froze, and I slowly turned my head to see a pair of two red eyes watching us. It was a lupe.

Run!
I yelled to my siblings, and they began running, and I, too, ran, but the monstrous lupe stopped me. It had stepped on my short, fluffy tail, and I watched with sorrow-filled eyes as my brothers and sisters left me behind, not noticing that I had been captured. I turned to look up too see a large, shadow-flamed creature, narrowing her red and black eyes at me. Just as she attacked me, I heard a loud shot being fired.

I blacked out for quite a while, until I awoke.

I opened my eyes slowly, and blinked a few times, and got up, and shook my head lightly. I had a faint headache, but other then that...

I was alive...?

It was all strange to me, and I tried to recall what had happend.. I remember my family- They must be so worried! I gasped, knowing they would be so happy to see me alive, and I started off towards where I knew my home was and walked through the woods. I caught a faint scent of my home, and hurried myself until I saw my mother.
Mom!
I yelled out happily, but as I came closer and closer, I noticed that she looked at me with fear, and she hopped off. I skidded to a stop, and watched her as she hid back in the home... But why did she do that? My father then came out of the house, and looked to me with anger and bravery in his eyes, and I took a step back, wondering why he looked at me so different.
You... What are you doing here?
He asked me strictly, and I saw my mother watching from inside, my siblings wanted to see what was happening, but mother kept them inside. I looked at my dad, and said quietly to him,
Dad... It's me... Sakkiu...
With that, my mother began crying as if a horrible memory came to her, and my dad looked at me with even more anger.
You-You cruel, disgusting creature! How dare you attack my daughter, and claim to be her! Get out of my sight!
He gave me a cold stare... a stare that would break a child's heart, like my own. I whimpered sadly, and hung my head low, wondering what she did wrong... and what was he talking about 'My attacked daughter?' I mean, I am his daughter... and I'm right here!
But, dad... you have to believe me! It's me, Sakkiu!
I almost pleaded for him to remember, but he just shook his head and returned home. With a pain-stricken heart, I began to walk away slowly, not wanting to scare my family.

If I'm not Sakkiu anymore... who am I?

Alone

It had been around a year since I had left my home... I was all alone. I had no friends, no family (That recognized me), nothing. I was all alone. Until I met a little pack of wolves. All of them seemed like me... rejected lupes who looked scary. I approached the group with a smile, and I asked happily,
May I join you guys?
They looked at each other, and a dark blue lupe with black rings around his legs looked back at me, and gave a smirk I'll never forget.
Sure... You can.

I had stayed with them for a while, but I guess you can say they seemed a little... strange to me. Not their looks, but mainly how they acted. They seemed so... so fake. Like they were hiding a dark secret from me, talking behind my back. But alas, I thought I may have been over-reacting and simply just judgeful. However, my thoughts on them being nice were wrong. They weren't nice one bit.

They wanted to make a mockery of me.

I had been sitting nearby a river, and I looked up at the sky. I was not very keen on looking in the water, it held no interest for me. The lupe I knew, who's name was Sting, walked up and sat beside me.
Why do you not you look in the water?
He asked me with false curiosity I hadn't known of then.
I don't know.. I guess I never cared.
I smiled, at him, and wagged my tail. He looked at me with dark green eyes, as if he were processing the information I had given him.
