The flight was long and tedious, but many decisions were made during those grueling hours in the plane.
First, she abandoned her name, stored it safely inside her brain, and took the name Sephiria.
The name was precise. Sephiria would be somebody who knew what she was doing, all the time, even in the direst of situations.
Second, she turned her heart to stone, so she wouldn't feel the changes that were about to take place the next few weeks.
Third, she blanked out her mind, so she could not recall the dreams and goals she had in America.
And lastly, she dyed her soul black, so that it was a void no one can reach.
